You can not install it on a 64 bit OS, you need to install windows 7 x 86 (32 bit)
In the Device Manager, on this pc, I have a yellow? ' next to 'ethernet controller '. I could be wrong, but from the internet, I find that I need a pilot "ethernet 802.3. But I don't know where to find a driver. I tried reinstalling the driver, but it does not work.
Acer-Euro support site below lists the Windows XP drivers available for the Acer Aspire T180. If this is your model sucks, you can check if the LAN drivers and chipset are more recent versions.
Acer Aspire T180
I have Notbook HP 15-ac125ne
Could you please send me a link for driver Ethernet Controller for windows 7 (64 bit)?
You need this driver...
This package contains the Realtek driver local area network (LAN) that allows the NIC (NIC) Realtek chip in the notebook models that are running an operating system supported.
File name: sp71268.exe
If you need other W7 drivers for your model, you can use those of the 15 t-ac000 except the BIOS and firmware files.
I reloaded Xp which solved a problem of sound. Now, I can't connect to internet because I don't have the driver for ethernet controller. I spent several hours trying to find this driver but my search always ends up in a dead end.
Toshiba does not list the driver on the download page, and I don't know what to do. Any ideas guys?
There are three models of Equium A100. Please post model number short and we can check it for you.
Otherwise, check out the download page of Toshiba on http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp and I m you can find here.
It is old model so less product type choose Archive.
I have a Satellite Pro L300 (PSLB9A - 02L 001). Have'nt after being on the dial for the year last I was wireless (it worked well before that) but am now back on broadband but I don't seem to have any wireless.
Checked the Device Manager and there is a yellow exclamation next to the ethernet controller and it seems there is no pilot, but apart from that, there is no further details. I tried to update the driver but it cannot find the driver on my computer and it will not search the Internet for this.
I tried, but none of the drivers I downloaded seems to work...
At the back of the computer laptop is a sticker - PA3613U-1MPC, I think it's the wifi card that is missing the driver but I can't find a driver for it for the life of me...
Any help would be wonderful.

You are right. This part number is WLAN Card. I put t know what operating system you use but for download driver Atheros http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads WLAN
I hope this will help.
What is now with LAN driver? Do you need it too?
In any case, visit the Toshiba support page under http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/download and there you should find good LAN driver for your model of laptop.
My Satellite Pro L630-12F has (A) an Atheros AR8151 PCI - E Gigabit Ethernet Controller, and (B) Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter.
Toshiba continues regularly informing me that a Wireless Lan Driver update was released, which I need to install.
First question: is Wireless LAN Ethernet controller driver or the network card?
I have check the versions on my machine of both (A) and (B) with the PC diagnostic tool and find that (B) is the latest version (126.96.36.199) and (A) is a very old version (188.8.131.52). I download the latest version (184.108.40.2066.0) of "Atheros Wireless LAN Adapter" for my machine from the Wireless LAN Driver download page (Windows 7 (64)) and run the file. But, everywhere I look, my machine continues to say that the version of (A) is (220.127.116.11).
Second question: am I update the Ethernet Atheros controller when I download and run the Atheros Wireless LAN Adapter?
If Yes, then why doesn't it show the latest version information?
Sorry for the basic questions, but I found no explanations in various forums on the difference between 'ethernet controller', 'network card' and 'Wireless LAN' after searching several times. I'm afraid that Toshiba keeps informing me that I don't have the latest version of the wireless LAN driver despite my efforts to follow their instructions.
> First question: is Wireless LAN Ethernet controller driver or the network card?
Ethernet controller can be both; WLan and LAN in your case I guess that WLan is Ethernet controller, it would seem if the WLan driver is not installed
Your laptop L630-12F seems to bear card Broadcom BCM94313 WLan and the driver can be found here:
> Am updated the Ethernet Atheros controller when I download and run the Atheros Wireless LAN Adapter?
This is driver LAN!

Hello. I have a Compaq Presario CQ5700Y desktop PC and recently installed a new version of Windows 7. Now, I don't have a driver for the ethernet adapter. Looking for everywhere. HP website offers only one for windows 7 64 bit and mine is 32-bit. According to my device manager, my hardware to ethernet controller id is the following:
PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & SUBSYS_2AB7103C & REV_05
PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & SUBSYS_2AB1703C
PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & CC_020000

Any information would be appreciated, as I am going nuts with this thing. Thank you.

I have a Presario CQ60-215DX and I need the driver for the ethernet controller. It is not listed on the downloads Web site.
Sorry, I was going to change the operating system to Vista Ultimate, so I put the recovery on the disks. I discovered that the ethernet card is an Atheros AR5007, so I downloaded the driver for it from the manufacturer's website and it worked perfectly.
Hi all first post and im desperate.
I'm trying to sort my laptop Satellite a40 of neighbors.
They had the CD of two recovery, but trying to do a full restore returned to the top! Error!
After pressing 2 to continue. Thought discs must be scratched and had it.
Then loaded win xp pro witch went without a hitch until I needed to go on the internet.
Even then I thought that the ethernet controller is not difficult to find.
What a mistake it was me? Driver was not on the two recovery CD and I tried both drivers intel on the download without result page.
They both seem to be for Wireless Lan.
I just need the ethernet (LAN) to work.
Can someone please help
See you soon
There is a LAN driver on the Toshiba driver page:
I found the Intel LAN driver v18.104.22.168
Please also see information sheet updated Microsoft Windows XP SP2 that are on the player page.
It has always been used with wireless, but not go now. Got the main due virus reformat and reinstall XP Professional. Everything's fine, everything works, but found a yellow flag in device manager for the ethernet controller. Have tried all the drivers available, nothing helps. Help me here, please.
The wireless light is lit on the front, suggestions.
You should try this wlan driver page:

Hi all. I am the third person who is the owner of this laptop and I don't have any of the original documents, software - nothing. I recently had to reinstall the operating system, and because I didn't have the original operating system I had to use another copy of Windows XP pro that I had. Well, the network card is installed fine and work correctly, but the ethernet controller isn't. I don't know much about these things, but I thought that if it was not working right the other should be too. They use different drivers? I tried the file here:
and I tried the latest file from the realtek site, for my Realtek RTL8139 Family Fast Ethernet NIC.
No one who has solved the problem. The Ethernet controller is still there in DM with an exclamation mark next to it - as well as the SM Bus controller. The bus controller would be the reason why the controller sets not right?
What Miss me? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I agree with Akuma. Please note that the Chipset driver must be installed first.
After installation of the chipset driver continue with graphics, sound, modem, LAN and all the other drivers.
But chipset driver must be installed first.
Some time ago, I accidentally deleted an important driver, which I thought was something else until it has been removed, and I could use my wifi. I have deleted an Atheros network driver. I tried for months now to reinstall, but unfortunately I had difficulties. I used all the resources I have and came up empty every time. I tried to use the windows update, the computer sent me on hp website to download the driver specific, everything. Whenever he tries to install or update the driver, it fails. Today, he finally showed me 'Ethernet Controller... ". No driver found' x
Is there anyone who can help me? or at least give me some advice on what I should do?
My computer is a compaq presario CQ60. Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. Service Pack1. Processor: AMD Sempron (TM) TR-42 2.10 GHz. Ram 3.0.

After installing XP, the OS is missing a driver for "Ethernet controller"; LAN works, not WLAN.
Can someone tell me what driver I have to download and install?
I think you should check page driver Toshiba for the right WLan driver.
Please note that there are 2 different Portégé R200: PPR20 + PPR21
You should check the details of your laptop and download the right driver WLan.
After downloading the driver, you will need to extract the file. Then go to Device Manager, select the WLan card and install the driver.
