  Hello I have an alien ware m18x and spent a lot of money on this laptop. I liked from the start, but not even a year after the motherboard came out no problem my warranty covered. Welcome to 5-6 months later my warranty has expired and bam the motherboard went out to new same problem than before. It happened in mid-term for the College so I called the guy and a week later was able to pay and send my laptop.

  now, this is where I am getting very angry with dell. When I sent that far they told me 7-10 working days although we are on day 20 now and nothing has been done with this laptop. Let's start in the order of all the stuff that has happened since you guys my laptop.

  1. I sent the laptop to you guys, but it took 2 days for the depo to sign for it.

  2. the depo began working on it and then 5 seconds later put a shim of payment by saying that I did not pay $430. It took about 3-4 days of calling me support and begging them to tell the depo I paid and even provide my payment number.

  3. have you called agents support so many times to ask what is the hold up because the depo never updates the link, they sent me in email. officers tell me to wait and just check the link.

  4 depo puts a wedge of parts which took more than 2 weeks to find just that part. I'm always told that they do not always have a part.  Nobody sews really to find out what is happening right now.

  honestly, I regret spending crazy amount of money I did on this mobile no only I'm still waiting for some news as to when its going to be fixed, but this delay destroyed my college this semester. I have finals in 2 weeks, I also have my review of certification compIT in 3 weeks all the stuff that I need are in the computer including all my papers. I am begging you guys just get my laptop fixed or ask someone who speaks English actually could you tell me what is happening.

  honestly, I want to start looking for a monetary value for the amount of hassle, than what has been. «There was a lot more, but as I am not the kind of person that insults people I haven't posted it.» but lets just say that some calls where not very beautiful side valleys.

  First of all, I would like to apologize for any discomfort your siding with your system and the time it has taken to repair the unit.

  From time to time, Dell may run into questions parties may run out of stock and there is not a viable substitute available role. That puts us in a position of having to order the parts from our suppliers and await his arrival. Without knowing the details of your case is probably that your run in. • OfficeJet 6830: out of warranty repair

  I have a 6830 who had a problem with printhead. I use the HP system failures and offered to repalce the printer HP as it was for 11 months in a 12 month warranty. I received the replacement printer which was a unit REFURBUSHED. I installed the replacement unit and it worked for about 1 week. At this point, I have a scanner error making the device unusable. At this point, I'm now outside the guarantee the guarantee is related to the original printer. I still go through the online troubleshooting system. He rejected me after entering new serial number to be outside the warranty period, which is still based on the original unit.

  A little, I have a problem with this strategy. Not only has HP me sent a unit refurbished, but it was not properly fixed at HP.  Now, I can't find a phone number to speak with a representative to see what they have to offer and to feel, they hide behind their support online self-service system.

  One has a similar experience? How it was resolved. What is your feeling on this issue. Any with any suggestion or solution please offer! Thanks in advance.

• How to send for repair if out of warranty?

  I bought a H5630 projector in 2010. Many pixels have start blocking in the last 2 weeks (maybe a hundred). Its caused by stuck mirror, something to do with being deffective DMD chips.

  Fleas DMD guarantee is suppose to be ok, the projector itself is not. How can I set a repair (im willing to pay for it) and get details about it if the warranty is voided. Web site always speak of 'use out of warranty support' when support will always lead to a wall saying ' guarantee is zero we can do anything "." This isn't what I call simple tech support...

  But anyway, I just want to ask acer for a price to fix (and bulb changed at the same time if possible).

  OK basically I looked again, went through the website and finally received an email, got on the phone here and here is the solution:

  -Appeal to their technical support

  -To change a DMD thing or anything like that, they charge a fee of like $ 208 to change it... in itself this isn't really a good price, but the trick is if you change the DMD and the bulb of the lamp (must be dead) then its... $ 208, not to say im just going to wait for the die of the lamp as its good enough for the total.

  Guy on the phone was helpful, thought I'd share the solution I finally get their hands on it.

  A took my phone in to the apple store 3 days ago, customer service agent said that my phone was weird as the firmware settings being a Verizon phone and no active carrier State. But I've been with ATT and same contract life of this phone, etc.

  He explained that a few weeks ago, I noticed really inaccurate GPS navigation / does not work. Then it is gradually degraded, now he can only determine my region approximate place of about 5 miles. Bluetooth started getting weaker and weaker to the point where it must be my headset in 2 PI or he cutt out / disconnects.

  WiFi is probably about 50% of what it was before regarding the speed and battery life, it seems the least affected but still very visible, will all the minutes and include to reconnect.

  While you were on the Apple store, you should have summer offer an out-of-warranty replacement. It would be kind of replacement and the cost for an iPhone 6 would be to $299.

  I bought my 2408WFP for photographic work. About 2 years ago, he developed a vertical column of bright green pixels to the right, which disappears once it gets warmer.  Dell support told me that I was out of luck because it was out of warranty. Fortunately, I was able to live with the scratches, because I know ultimately it will go away, and it is somewhat useful, as it tells me when the monitor has reached its working temperature. Unfortunately, in recent months he has also developed what I can only describe as brilliant green snow, a bit like a badly tuned analog TV could have showed. The snow seems to be more attracted to lines or edges where there is a strong contrast between light and darkness, but it spreads through the entire display area. Unlike the vertical line, this snow appears only when the monitor is warmed up, which makes it next to useless. I tested it on Windows 7 original DVI, VGA connector, using a different graphics card, Windows 8 on HDMI using my Tablet and HDMI with my linux netbook. I can confirm that snow occurs in all four combinations. There seems to be less of a problem on the netbook, but I suspect that it is because it can not simply driving the monitor at its full resolution. I must say that I am really disappointed by that. It's the most expensive monitor that I have ever bought and I expect it to last more than five years. I agree with comments elsewhere on this forum about "eventually out electronics. There are no moving parts in this device, which means that the snow is due to one or more defective components. The absence of an official repair center is also a real problem for me, and the replacement, the U2413, was AU $150 more than the 2408. Unfortunately, the Dell is only 24 "monitor with the support of the color gamut Adobe RGB that I can afford, but I hate the idea of paying that kind of money when I already have what should be a functional monitor.   Assuming that your model never came with a DVD of recovery:

  Clean Install of El Capitan on a new disc

  1. Restart the computer. Immediately after the chime, press Command + Option + R until a globe appears.
  2. The Utility Menu appears in 5 to 20 minutes. Be patient.
  3. Select disk utility, then click on the continue button.
  4. When loading disk utility, select the drive (generally, the entry Out-bumpy) in the list aside.
  5. Click the Partition tab in the main window of disk utility. A panel will fall.
  6. Set the GUID partition scheme.
  7. Define the type of Format Mac OS extended (journaled).
  8. Click on the apply button, then click the fact when it is active.
  9. Quit disk utility and re-enter the Utility Menu.
  10. Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  This should install it the version of Mac OS X that has been previously installed when the computer was new.

• Adapter Toshiba 2 weeks out of warranty

  I've been very disappointing to know that Toshiba will honor no guarantee of the a/c adapter as its 2 weeks out of warranty. What happened to the good will and good gestures.

  I used to work for after-sales service and we would always honor guarantee for fair products outside of the warranty period. I know that this is not an expensive part, but simply a gesture of goodwill, perhaps send me a working used or refurbished nine AC adapter / CC could have been nice.

  On the one hand I agree with you on the other hand each company serius has defined rules how it works. Each Toshiba service provider is a small independent company with a contract with Toshiba and they must follow clear rules on movements of warranty or goodwill.

  Believe me I know several cases where Toshiba has made such actions. I put t know how you talked with the people working there, but usually there is always a way to get something for free.

  Anyway, if you can't get it for free order new AC adapter on eBay. It is really cheap and certainly not the reason to be so disappointed.

A store approved diagnostic Apple my iPhone 6 and due at the end of the warranty for phones damaged by liquid coverage, I was asked to "recover" my non-working phone as long as no third party store would open my unit. I was told that it costs 17 400 Php or 370,20. $, I'm not sure of the breakdown of prices, but it seems that half the current market value for the gold unit, 16 gb, even in color (went to the Mall today is $702,22). I checked the recycling program and re-use of Apple and I wonder if the "exchange value" who gave to me is this program OR is it something out of warranty replacement. Whatever it is, I want to know if I will get the same unit as new OR refurbished?

  Out of warranty, replacements and the reuse of the Apple recycling program are two different things. Reuse and recycling program will give you just a gift card from Apple for trading in your old device. The amount given online is only an expected value, but they check it and give you a final value. With the water damage, the value will be much less.

  The elimination of warranty replacements are given to nine units. They will not give you a new in a box. They will be in a brown box and have only the iPhone without any cables, headphones, etc. The price varies from one country to another for the replacement cost of the guarantee, but it is much cheaper than having to pay the total cost for a new brand.

  I sent my 360 in SBE for a warranty repair. It is a cracked back. I was followed its course on the SBE website. Everything seems to be OK, if you exclude the shocking lack of any form of communication of SBE or Motorola. But today a message and a photo were added that I am confused/concerned everything.

  It appeared a BER photography. The photo is my receipt I sent as requested.

  I'm assuming that the BER means its beyond repair? What happens now? The watch will be replaced?
