Aspire E1 - 572G - 10 Windows shutdown and restart problems

Hello!

I bought this laptop a while ago, like almost 2 years, and probably more. It was powerful enough at the time, and I was very happy with it. So when Windows 10 came out I've updated, everything went well, but I made a mistake.

I used a program that automatically updated the drivers and downloaded one which was not intended for my PC. Since then my Acer will be not completely closed (the screen goes black, but the lights switched on, the drive keeps spinning) also restarts fairly slow with a large clicking noise as it stops the HARD drive and that shouldn't happen restarts in my possession. Although any of this happened if I play for awhile, watch the videos and do things.

I tried reinstalling every driver, reinstallation of Windows, every difficulty on the internet that I could find, but all this would not help.

I even replaced my with a SSD HARD drive, reinstalled completely windows on it, so new a own, bought a Bay optical caddy so I can replace my DVD with the TOSHIBA HDD Recorder. Even in that case it wouldn't work. Reinstalled driver BIOS, still nothing.

I don't know what to try more, I really need your help, guys!

I guess you Haswell - of the month last most people use the Windows driver 8.1 Intel Management Engine Interface as a workaround for the sleep/shot, stopping/blocking issue in Windows 10.

    Hi Chris,

You can try to connect a single stick of RAM at a time and see what happens.

If you are not facing problems, then try to swap the RAM sticks and check for the issue.

  • Windows stops and restarts each time I login, the last thing I did was partition the hard drive

I upgraded my hard drive because I needed more space.  At first, I put the same settings as the original drive.  C is the primary drive and D is the HP recovery disk.  There is apparently a small partition that windows uses, but does not have a drive letter.  I left all sizes even.  This has left me a large part of the unallocated disk.

With the help of Partition Master, I created a major score that I use for music, photos, documents, etc.  At the time I did, I got an external hard drive connected.  He was assigned as drive F and I created the new partition as G:.

Shortly after this, my computer crashed and restarted.  When I log in, it says that windows has recovered from a serious error.  It plugs along for a little while and then did the same thing again and again and again.

It doesn't gives me a lot of other information that means something to me.  If I click on the Details button for the information it sends to Microsoft if I want to report that it has a bunch of gibberish, but I'm sure that it wants to say something to someone.  I'll try to copy the next time it hangs after as I write this.

I ejected the disk external and changed the drive letter on my new partition to F.  I can't believe that's going to do something, but I thought that maybe the partitions on the drive must be in order (of course, I'll try anything).

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

  • constantly, Windows starts and restarts

Recently, I replaced the hard drive of my HP dv9000 Laptop. I reinstalled the OS vista with a DVD provided by HP Vista Home Premium OS-specific. Installation of Windows, but my computer continues to close and restart. In addition, my wireless modem is not recognized and the resolution of the screen is distorted. I had to unplug the power cord and remove the battery so that the computer would not restart. Any suggestions?

    Hello

Given that you have reinstalled Windows the problem is material (almost 100%) or BIOS,
of low level, or other great drivers chipset drivers.

Check with a real computer store (one that makes its own service internal and not of leeks)
and displays a Best Buy or other stores) or system manufacturer support. Also
Ask known problems in their forums.

  • unexpected shutdown and restart with electric conducting State error message

My Toshiba 305j goes through a stop because of the error driver power state failure and then restarts. This happens about every 20-30 minutes. Sometimes it will work for hours before she started it. Happens if I am on the internet or not. It is a PC at home. I've seen this problem on other forums but don't see that speculation as to the cause or the cure.

    Hello Pepperl,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

How long have you had this problem?

Here here that you can try:

    Step 1:

I recommend you update all the drivers of material first. Follow the link below to help this.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

You can even visit the manufacturer's website to download and install the latest drivers.

    Step 2:

To avoid the error message, update or remove the driver at fault. This behavior is not limited to device drivers; It can also occur with file system filter drivers (for example, drivers installed by an anti-virus, remote control or a backup program). To isolate the driver that is causing the problem, follow these steps:

    1. make sure your computer and all devices are on the hardware compatibility list (HCL) and have WHQL signed and certified drivers. You can use Sigverif.exe to check for unsigned drivers.

    2. check for driver updates that may be available for your hardware.

    3. update the software that use filter drivers (for example, anti-virus, remote control, and backup software).

4 uninstall all devices that are not critical and software to help isolate the device/software that can cause the problem.

    5. install Windows in a new folder. Add drivers and restart as you proceed to isolate the driver that is causing the problem.

    Hope this information is useful.

    Kind regards

  • Unexpected shutdown and restart automatically

    Hello

Is the issue that I'm face using windows vista business.when I use it stop and restart unexpectedly.it will ask me to reboot into different options, I chose normally identify in blue system.i get on-screen and there will be some memory test and suddenly it restarts.

original title: about the United Nations expect stop and restarting my computer

I seem to have soe kind of hardware problem.  Look on the computer to see if it's so hot anywhere you can't hold your hand on it without removing it from the heat.  If so, the problem is most likely overheating.  Check that the fan is running and clean the admission and eshaust winds as the best you can (if it of a PC and not a laptop, remove the clover and give it a good glean all the dust, lint, paper or another anthing like this that may block the ventilation openings or interfere with the movement of fan).  Furthermore, it provides the different options when it restarts because that it is not stopped correctly - that's normal when this happens.

Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (do this for as many devices as you have time for - this can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.

To test your hard drive, check the manufacturer and then get the diagnostic utility of: http://www.techsupportforum.com/hardware-support/hard-drive-support/302602-hard-drive-diagnostic-utilities.html (and/or the manufacturer, if they have one available for download on their website).  If she failed the test, replace it.  If she passes the test, then it's probably nothing wrong with it.

You can also test your RAM to http://www.memtest.org/.  If it fails, test each piece individually to find those who are bad and replace.  If it passes, the RAM is probably OK.

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer would be manually install the graphics driver Vista support for your laptop and driver, page and see if it works...

BTW, the nc6400 has the mobile Intel 945 chipset, not the 965.  The 6910p has the 965 chipset.

Download and run this driver... You will probably get an error of unsupported operating system.

    Conclusion of any windows error.

Go to Device Manager and click on the video controller (or Microsoft based Display Adapter) who need drivers.

    Click the driver tab.

Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp38833.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

    Then restart.

If your nc6400 has this problem with the SMSC Infrared driver with the! Marc, I went into the BIOS, found the menu of Ports and disabled the infrared port, saved and restarted.

That got rid of the problem of device.

I don't know of anyone who uses the infrared port anyway.

I did a software update to microsoft windows, and when it's over, I was directed to reboot my laptop. After the reboot, I have my laptop wouldn't restart.  The windows xp screen would come and after a while the screen asking if I want to start in safe mode, safe mode with command prompt or of the last good connection. Hi hretorico,

    1. what windows update has recently been installed on the computer?

    2. you receive an error message when you restart the computer?

I would say that you shut down the computer for some time and later try to start the computer and trying to boot using the last good known Configuration, check to see if it helps.

  • My hard drive begins to randomly run very fast, then everything is locked, and I have to push the power button to shutdown and restart the CPU

I use a desk top of HP 5 year, running Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade from Vista.

Im not 100% sure what you mean but I think you mean the fans come on fast?

If it is then you probably have a dust build up inside your PC or something that hampers the movement of air.
HP desktop computers are usually fairly easy to check inside, usually a handful or a pliers to remove the top cover or side (there may be one or two screws on the back), once you have it you can see the fans and just check if there is dust covering the front Grill , rear grille and the heatsink. You can use a small accessory vacuum cleaner to do this, just be careful not no knock all components.
If you don't want you may damage whatever it is then if you have a friend or relative who knows a little bit of PC you could ask them to check it out.
Usually, dust accumulates in areas where are fans which reduces the airflow in your PC and can make the fans rotation and your pc run slow / lock up.
  • Update Windows errors and other problems.

I just installed windows 7 on my computer. The problem is I can't seem to get the updates, I tried all sources (some worked, but did not resolve the full question). Patches some of the sources I'm like, Diagnostics Windows, Microsoft fixit and other software troubleshooting. Here are the two questions I have; 1. I try to check the windows update runs for several hours and then returns to "check updates for your computer. 2 updates show is ready to install on the stop button on the start menu, but not shown in WU. If someone can solve this problem, and I know that research on a certain need of people of this response, thank you.

Your best solution is going to be a huge part of patience.  WU was extremely slow during the last 6 months.  I got a new facility just a day that lasted 7 hours ago to run.

If your closing button indicates the exclamation point.  Do a restart and let him finish settle.  Return to Windows Update, then start it.  If you use a laptop, turn off the sleep function.  Go to bed and check in the morning.

Looks like the Windows Phone app installation is corrupted, I suggest that you completely uninstall the application from your desktop. Restart your computer, and then reinstall the Windows Phone application. Please do not forget to download a new installation file.

  • iPhone iOS 10 5 and restart problem

Context: a year and a half months ago my left side of the screen (iPhone 5) began to burst, an indication of battery failure. I ran to an apple certified service in the country, I've been during the holidays. They asked 100 euros and five working days, so obviously, I changed the battery in a store not certified in 1 hour (unware of the battery, they put in). With iOS 9.3.5 all was well for the whole of this period later. No problem at all.

Problem: last Tuesday (so after one year and), I have updated to iOS 10. Once again everything was working fine, until this weekend (3 days later), where my iPhone 5 has started to reboot frequently, i.e. Saturday and Sunday should have restarted more than 20 - 30 times without reason.

What I tried: I reset all the settings in the settings menu, I did reset function sleep and home button, I restored my iPhone IOS 10 5. Nothing. The reboot occurs again. Last thing I noticed is that the reboot occurs less frequently (100% sure) while the iPhone is in charge.

Question: is this a software problem on iOS 10 (do not believe now to be honest), or just the coincidence of a pile of problems that have occurred with the iOS 10 update, or something else? Here, I changed the battery (76 kilos), or give the iPhone engineering to get a new one for 198 pounds?

Any help is welcome. Thank you very much.

I solved it. I just changed my battery. No problem since then.
