• BlackBerry smartphones can not see memory card when connected to USB

  You're on Win XP Prof? If so,.

  For the calendar / Date time is visible on the limited user try the following:
  Log on as administrator.

  Click Start-> Run & Type-> gpedit.msc

  Now click on Computer Configuration-> Windows settings-> local policies-> user rights assignment (click the + to expand far youreach)

  Double click on "change the time system" and click on add a user or a group-> select Advanced-> Find Now you you get the list of Userid-> now select your username (limited user) and click ok on all screens. Close this account administrator and connect to your limited user and try, should be able to access the time and calendar now.

  I have a laptop Acer TravelMate, there is a map on the side drive. I also have a Panasonic Lumix digital camera. problem is when I insert the camera card into the slot on the laptop, there is nothing.  my 1st thought being that I need to download and install a card reader driver. I've done that now, but still nothing.
  I just wonder, being a technophobe (not computer smart), unless im missing something here that is obvious to people who are more experienced.

  All information provided I see that you have already updated driver, tried different cables and also checked the HDMI port on your TV. I suggest you check the laptop's hdmi port by plugging another device like external monitor.

  If you don't get any screen, it could be a problem with the laptop's hdmi port.

  I looked at the page of the BIOS on the Acer drivers and the section of downloads for my laptop (Aspire V5 - 571, ultrathin) and there are a few more recent changes. Usually, I wouldn't update my BIOS if everything of fine, but is it worth it to see if I get any kind of performance increase?

  One thing that confused me - my laptop is running BIOS version 2.11, dated Date 11/05/2012. But when I look at the downloads of BIOS on the Acer site for this laptop (I used the serial number of my laptop to search for drivers) there is no version 2.11.

  There is 2.09, 2.15, 2.17 and 2.18.

  Is there a chance that my laptop could be running a BIOS that is not designed for him? Crazy, I know, but I don't see why it would not be a 2.11 on the download page. Also means "not for upgrades" next to some of the listed BIOS?
