  Hi all

  I need to make a simple configuration with pix506 with software version 6.3. I need to use it for a class of ip on the external interface for clients that are connected within routing interface. The class outside ip is 10.0.0.x 255.255.255.0; While the Interior is class ip 10.98.98.x 255.255.255.0. I need that inside clients can ping devices of class Pix 506. 10.0.0.x for this? I tried with many examples, but the journey seems does not work. Please check the above example and the diagram attached. Thank you all.

  I'm having a difficult time, incorporating the necessary scripts for FancyBox working. After a while, I gave up after the guides.

  I came across a link embed to TrackMyTour which seems to work fine. I played a little with it and it works with images and the whole lot.

  I have deployments of Nexus 5 k with L3 cards which have separate links for L3 and no vpc VLAN instead of having them on the link of peers VPC and they seem to work well. This is a mistake in the documentation or could I have problems?

  Take a look at Figure 3-10 and now add another layer 3 linking N5K N5K-1-2.

  1 multicast is sent on N5K - 1

  2. multicast routing on N5K - 1.  A copy is sent to the interface of L3 and another copy is sent to the peer-link in vlan reserved (in the vpc bin - vrf default vlan xxxx).

  3. the packet received on the interface of layer 3 multicasting will still get replicate by the peers-Link.

• vPC and VSS port-channel uplinks

  Hello Forum team!

  Currently I have a configuration of a couple of Nexus 5548UP in a field of vPC with a couple of Nexus 2248TP aircraft in a double scenario hosted for the access layer (FEX in a vPC also). Core/distribution, there are a pair of 6509 cluster VSS. Now I configured a regular port-channel every 5K to the VSS functionality and works as expected. My question is this: given that in the vPC a 5K is the main and the other is secondary, a configurable vPC for the uplinks to the VSS instead of a channel of regular port of each 5 K?

  In addition, configurations must be replicated manually on both Nexus 5 K? I'm in denial about this. I'm used to how VSS works.

  You can use a vPC of the pair of Nexus 5 K to the VSS cluster. There is a white paper Cisco Catalyst 6500 VSS and Cisco Nexus 7000 vPC of interoperability and best practices that will in this. While the white paper is for Nexus 7000 are you interested to do probably is the configuration shown in Figure 2 and so the scenario and considerations are the same.

  On the Nexus switches with vPC there are still two control i.e. plans, the primary and secondary that you mention. For all the configurations that should be applied at the primary and secondary, you can manually configure on the two switches or use the synchronization of Configuration characteristic Nexus (see Configuration synchronization Operations for more details).

• Extend a network of comments with AEBS and TC set up a connection

  Hi all-

  I was wondering if anyone has had any success with that extends a network invited on two airports or more that are wired together.  I use currently a Time Capsule as my main router (802.11ac), and have it configured with DHCP and NAT like fashion.  It connects via a connection wired to an Airport Extreme Base Station (802.11ac), which is set in Bridge mode and configured with a static IP address to the primary time Capsule.  The time Capsule is configured with a network of comments that is fully functional, and the AEBS extends the primary network using the same SSID and encryption on 2.4 and 5 GHz.  However, when I turn on the AEBS remote networking reviews, I can connect to the AEBS, but cannot obtain an IP address (the computer displays an automatic address assigned).  The SSID and the encryption is the same for both networks of comments.  I tried to use "extend a wireless network" on the AEBS and that will extend the network, but it is extremely slow due to the wireless connection it creates between two access points (I have the TC and wired together AEBS to offer increased coverage, because my house is not very "friendly wifi").

  I would greatly appreciate any help or insight anyone can provide, even if it's to tell me that a cable extension of the network of comments is not possible.

  Wired to the guest network feature extension is indeed possible and should be implemented and enabled automatically if you are using "Assistant" Installation from Apple to expand the networks main and guests.

  I had this set up on the 2 airports and sometimes 3 for a few years and not a single hiccup.

  Suggest that you reset the AEBS back to default settings and then use configuration Apple "Wizard" to set up the AEBS again. It automatically adapts the AEBS to expand networks main and guests.  Everything you really need to do is enter a name of device to the AEBS, the wizard takes care of everything else for you.  It is one of the simplest game ups ever.

  Once you have the updated AEBS up and running, you can assign a static unit IP address if you want to, but it should not be necessary.

  After the back if you need some advice on the use of the Apple Setup Assistant to do the work for you.

  I'm a 15-j171nr with 8GB and 24 GB SSD cache. Whe I have it set to purchase the Configurator said the cache of 24GO was incompatible with more than 8 GB of RAM.  'Maintenance and Service of Guide' (p/n 733845-001) said the same thing on page 5:

  «mSATA SSD»

  Support for mSATA 24 GB SSD (not available on the computer equipped models with 16834 or 12288 MB of system memory or a 256 GB or 512 GB SSD)"

  My questions are:

  -How are they incompatible?

  -How do you upgrade a 8 GB to 16 GB model during the withdrawal of the mSATA 24GO card?

  The additional DIMM module is physically incompatible with the mSATA map, they install in remote locations. I guess it could be a thermal or issue of power but neither part draws a lot of power or generates a lot of heat. This is * not * a problem with software compatibility. How will I know? Because I advanced and installed the extra 8 GB DIMMS and the laptop continues to operate correctly, but now has 16 GB or RAM.

  The question about the upgrade is because when you use the card as a cache mSATA configuring map mSATA and the mechanical drive as a RAID array. I guess when you remove the mSATA card you must rebuild the image of the operating system on the drive of 2.5 inches.

  Some people report if they switch to 16 gigs, they start to become quick start Intel and Intel Rapid Storage errors. If you're not, then you do not experience incompatibility. I think that HP will not sell 16 concerts with the WSSD of 24 concert because if you are using Intel Rapid Start the MSSD has contain the entire contents of the RAM and all the other files that have been stored there for hibernation. 24 concerts can be a little tight. Map of the WSSD is not accessible from the service Bay. It is hidden on the motherboard. You can actually slow down the main drive of the WSSD through the Intel Rapid Storage console. If you have installed 16 gigs and are having no problem just keep using the laptop and count you lucky. If you need assistance more let us know. I have a very similar model: the Envy 17-j029nr and played well with all the features of hard drive so I feel pretty good with her speed. • Problems with VSS and RoboHelp on the second machine

  We chose to use Visual Source Safe as our source for use with RoboHelp control tool. To build the VSS database that contains the project to help on the server, we used the version of our aid project successfully on my machine. I got no problem with it for several weeks. Everything works beautifully. Files are collected, verified and checked back with no problem.
  
  The problem is that we have been unable to someone else have been correctly set up on the team upward with the RoboHelp VSS source control. Given that we do not build the database from scratch, the way we did with mine, we try to 'get' the version of VSS on the server and place it on his machine. I guess this is the way to do it, but we don't know how. When we try to get the version in the source code control, only the top level of subject .htm are recovered, and not anything that is nested in children. Then, when attempting to open the project help on his machine, we get all sorts of errors going to "corrupt .cpd" files to 'caractΦres' to "the local version is different from the source control version" (DUH!). We say to her to get the files in RoboHelp, when we try to open the project assistance to his C drive, but it's not download them properly, and invariably RoboHelp breaks down.
  
  Anyone who has successfully used VSS with RoboHelp, and if so, how do you get a new computer with an existing RoboHelp project, which is already in VSS? I need the measurements, if possible, because it is not intuitive (or since we are just clueless).

  Getting the initial copy of source control can be tedious, but not hard.
  Most likely, you have only the folder level higher because the "recurse" (or "recursive", I don't remember off the top of my head) check box has not been checked in vs.
