Assistant product Hewlett packard has stopped working
After removing a nasty virus/Trojan horse of my system, I get a dialog box saying "Hewlett packard product Assistant has stopped working" shortly after the opening of the session. How to solve this problem?

If you upgrade to 7 product Assistant will not work, it has been replaced with HP support assistant, which is the current HP software for monitoring and troubleshooting of the computer.

When you try to open HP support assistant, you get a message that hpsf.exe has stopped working.
This is perhaps due to a problem with the application.
I suggest to reinstall the application and check to see if the problem persists.

Adobe CS4 "a license for this product has stopped working" (error 6)
Help, please! I used the Migration Assistant to transfer all my Time Machine backup to my new MacBook Pro. When I try to open Photoshop or InDesign (CS4), it tells me that "a license for this product has stopped working". The box suggests a reboot of the computer (which doesn't) and helpfully gives me 'error 6'. I did a Time Machine backup from another computer of backup", who had both of these installed applications. (2 installs is allowed). I have records of origin for both applications. I have a mid-2010 27 "iMac OS x 10.7.5. I had a full licensed version of Photoshop CS 3 installed on this machine, since you bought it. What do you propose to do that, besides, of course, the upgrade my computer and software for the newer and larger versions? There are other, more recent machines running more recent versions, full license of all software, already in my shop.

This product was a direct download of Adobe, my backup does not work either.
With absolutely no help from the staff of Adobe, I was able to find a solution to the problem. Everyone at Adobe support couldn't tell me where I could download the files I needed. Finally I found them.

I set up a new Mac running Mac OS X 10.9.1 Mavericks and migrated my using Migration Assistant software. Most of the software are fine, but I can't run Director 11.3. I get the following error:
License for this product has stopped working. Error 150:30
I rebooted the previous Mac and disabled the software here, but I still get the same error message and Director will not start.
Any ideas?

I have thought honastly this laptop couldn't be worse. I downloaded the latest version of the hp support assistant after resinstalling windows and all the other stuff of hp and when I try to get updates from hp it comes up with a

8.1 Windows Pro w/Media Center - 64 bit
For some unknown reason, HP Support Assistant has stopped working. I noticed that the large taskbar icon had disappeared.
I tried to run the program just out of curiosity. "HP Support Assistant has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works properly... "etc. It is reproducible. The program does not start.
So, I tried to uninstall in Control Panel of. It seems to start to uninstall, but then I get an error message. "Error 1316 a network error occurred trying to read the file C:\windows\Installer\HP support Assistant.msi" when I click "OK" it cancels. This is also reproducible.
I tried to download the software again from HP: sp64126.exe I accept the license agreement and moving forward. I get a message that files already exist and I want to overwrite all or not. Matter of INo I choose, nothing happens. The installation window simply disappears and I'm at square one.
Windows is fully updated. I use Norton Intertent security 21 - fully implemented to date.
I solved this on my own. HP has a Recovery Manager installed on my system [search---> Recovery Manager] and aid that allowed me to reinstall just this software from my hard drive recovery partition. Very cool!
