ASUS PC probe II.  Initially, Windows will block upward.  No information given as to how to tell vista to leave him alone, I want it to run at startup upward.  I don't want to 'ok' on every reboot.

Hi mobo Asus.

Welcome to the Microsoft answers site.

Make sure that the computer is set to a Normal startup in the System Configuration utility. These specific services for the program would have been blocked in starting, you can unlock, follow these steps:

1. click on start.

2. in the general tab, click Normal startup.

3. click on the Startup tab.

4. click on the required service that needs to be unlocked.

5. click on apply.

6. click on OK.

Now, restart the computer and check.

If the steps above do not help, you can uninstall and reinstall the Asus PC probe II, Setup needs to configure the utility runs automatically at startup.

    Hi Larrydak,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

When this happens (when the computer is idle for a period of time or that you are working on)?

This happens when you do something in particular or it occurs randomly?

You can check in the event viewer to see if an application is causing the problem.

    To open Event Viewer

    1. click on the Start button.

    2. click on Control Panel.

    3. go to the system and security.

    4. Select Administrative Tools, and then double-click Event Viewer.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

    4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all

Note: Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use with existing restore points system restore utility

Once you start office check if the problem persists, follow the steps in the article and find out which program is causing the problem.

For more information about the clean boot, follow the below given link:

    Hello

It seems that the module defective sdb4mdu.dll is the cause of the crash. According to my research, sdb4mdu.dll is a driver printer interface module - which means that it is related to your printer drivers. Assuming that this module belongs to your default printer (which it might not, it is hard to say), disable it would risk instability. I recommend you to run the System File Checker. See this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us

Don't forget to restart your computer after you run it.

If this does not work, try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your printer.

If it does not either, we can try to turn off the TPM. (first of all, creating a restore point in case something goes wrong)

    I hope this helps!
