  I've had this laptop for about 4 months and everything was fine until a few weeks ago.  When I got it, I was able to use two fingers on the mouse pad little Gizmo to scroll to the top and bottom of the pages. That no longer works.  I was also able to tap with two fingers to emulate the right click of mouse.  That no longer works.  Also, I was able to resize a page by pinching or stretching with two fingers. That no longer works.

  I have played around with all the settings and can not get these features runs.  Is it possible to fix this?

  I'd appreciate it if someone could get back to me with an answer.  I posted this same question several weeks ago, when the problem began, but never got a response.

  I presume that you have disabled this function somehow. In any case try to follow: remove the extra package and system after reboot install the latest version of the Toshiba download page.

  Hi all - this is weird: I tried to install on my Cintiq partner 8.1, and now touch does not except in BIOS, specific gestures Wacom as taken care of by their own driver, or in safe mode. Note that this is the first product when I installed 8.1, but continued even after the Windows 8 factory restore (twice), former pilots, new drivers, etc. Wacom trying to figure it out too, but I wonder if this rings the bells over here. I tried to disable my apps to start and stop the processes other than windows. No luck so far.

  This ended up being a problem with Secure Boot, of all things. When the 8.1, the Bios settings update stopped somehow, and I had to go and disable Secure Boot, so that the touch driver could load correctly (also, I had to run an extraordinary. File bat of the manufacturer of equipment as an admin after having done this, so I don't know what hope there is for others to solve the short problem communicating with Wacom).

  I have the Asus - 11.6 "notebook touch - 4 GB of memory - 500 GB Hard Drive - gray steel and for some reason, my touch screen no longer works. It worked perfectly the other day, but today it is not. Does anyone know why and what I can do to fix this?

  I had this problem with my PC S400CA touch screen and fixed it today by following these steps:

  1. Go to the control panel.
  2. Go to the troubleshooting section (you may need to search)
  3. Click on hardware and sound
  4. In the device section, click hardware and devices
  5. That the wizard will scan your computer for hardware problems.
  6. Let the computer solve whatever problems you had.

  In my case, there were 2 USB input devices that have been disabled the Wizard turned on for me.  The touchscreen has immediately started working.  Hope this helps someone.

  UPDATE:

  The problem to return periodically.  But since the update all my drivers earlier, the problem has not resurfaced.

• Satellite S50t-B touch screen no longer works

  My partner bought a S50t-B Satellite probably 5-6 months and everything worked perfectly, until she had a few updates to windows that has happened, and now the touch HID compatible drivers are apparently disabled in Device Manager?

  The touch screen no longer works, and I've pretty much exhausted all the options I could think.

  I tried to reinstall windows, apply all updates via the service center, I can't find the drivers for the touch screen on the support Web site downloads section and the bios etc is all to date.

  I was hoping someone could shed some light on how to proceed with this issue, since the main reason, she bought there the touch screen function.

  I don't have any idea what system you have installed, but if the laptop was equipped with touch screen, additional drivers for touchscreen are not necessary.
  If touch screen is working properly, the Windows (Win 8.1) should detect it automatically.

  What Satellite S50t-B-ooo do you excatly?
  From my point of few, the laptop must be set to settings factory just to check if its really a software related issue... so I wonder why you do not use HARD drive recovery or recovery media to restore the laptop to factory settings?

  Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

  Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

  If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

  As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo of iTunes on the screen of your device. • HP Compaq 6910p touch controls no longer works...

  I installed windows 7 Home Premium 32 and also installed Snow Transformation Pack 1.5. I have used and deleted some kind of buttons 1, 2, 3, 4. I did not restore point before using it. Now, I want to use the original Windows 7 without additional extensions. Everything is almost OK except touch buttons. The volume upward, the volume and mute no longer works. When I touch the buttons, they are light, but without result.

  Can someone help me with this kind of problem. Is how to configure these touch buttons (enabled/disabled)?

  I found a solution of forum in notebookreview.com. Very simple solution:

  "Shut down the computer, unplug the adapter, remove the battery and hold the POWER button for about 45 seconds, THEN reinsert the dough and all and start the computer" and it helped!

  First uninstall Hp Qucik buttons launch the program and features in the control panel and restart you Notebook and check if new drivers are installing and the buttons work correctly.

  But try to calibrate the touch screen (digitizer). You must go to the control panel (Windows key + X-> Control Panel). You will find a Tablet PC setting.

  The first tab called display contain some options such as configure the stylus and touchscreen. Here, you should be able to start the installation program and identify the touchscreen.

  In the screen options 1 internal LCD must be chosen.
  In addition, you can calibrate and reset the settings for the internal LCD.

  -Recovery disk (or flash memory)
  -HDD recovery

  Recently my soft keys touch has stopped working. My laptop is only around the age of 4 months. Had been working fine so far. No new software had been placed on the laptop in the week before the soft keys touch, stop working. I tried to use the FN and function keys, but they did not seem to do anything.
  I tried to push for a restoration of the previous system with no result. I uninstalled and reinstalled the value added together as suggested several places in this forum and most who did for me is to kill internet bandwidth and my time.

  Is there a solution for this or I have to send this to a warranty repair?
