At the start of my imac I type my password it starts to load then goes off when half way... advice?
When you try to start my imac, it begins to read the files, then off to half way.
One of the reasons could be an extension conflict. This happens when you see icons in the lower part of the loading screen? No difference if you press and hold down the SHIFT key during startup? Knowing the exact iMac model and the version of the operating system would be useful. Since this has been posted under Mac OS Classic (OS9, OS8 & System 7), I assume that the computer is running Mac OS 8.x or 9.x.

Just made my first film on iMovie 11 to show the new apple TV. Worked well started a new project two days ago, but now when I try to open iMovie it starts with 'validation library iMovie on computer' and then seems to load the last project I worked on, (I can see the clips) and then it just stops. Then the problem page, and even if I select Reopen, the same series of events occurs. Does anyone know how to fix this? It is strange that it worked before and I haven't added anything on my Mac.
You may have a corrupted project. Try iMovie with the alt (option down key). This prevents automatically trying to open the last project and may allow you to access other projects or even the problem.
Many people make problems of running iMovie 11 (= 9 version) State under El Capitan. I recommend you to consider upgrading to version 10.1

I tried to launch my Spysweeper and found that is not there, then I re downloaded and I could not install it because it was already on my computer. I went to the control panel to remove and got the message:

At the start of my new home page appears. But after I have visited other sites and you want to go 'home', a previous home page appears.
Turns out the problem was the identification of 'House' in the name of 'Home' in my bookmarks toolbar. When I clicked on the House to the right of the address bar icon, he was always to the good homepage newly identified. But if I clicked on 'House' name in the bookmarks toolbar, he went to the old location.
So, I changed the identification of this bookmark and the problem was solved.

I went into the Terminal to uninstall Java according to the Mac and I can't type my password
I can't type my password in the terminal so I can uninstall Java according to the Mac. It's like my keyboard is dead. I have a Macbook Pro (2011) ElCapitan 10.11.2 version... I don't have any idea what to do.
This is normal in the Terminal. The keyboard is typing your password even if you do not see the letters or movements.
Try everything you do again and when it asks for the password, type it as you normally would (even if you don't see anything) and then press return/enter

Click Start > Control Panel
Double click on "Add or Remove Programs.
Click "Add/Remove Windows components" and
Click on "Accessories and utilities.
Click on "Details". Check the box 'games'.
Select the games you want to install on your computer. How to restore Windows XP Games(instead of the windows CD your source would be the i386 folder if you have it.)

My PC with Vista Home premium does not START because the keyboard does not work. It's a Dell Dimesion E521 PC with Vista.
This happened after a power failure; I get a black screen that says «disabled keyboard» The key board works and the USB ports have power to them.
The START menu was initially protected by Word, but I have the game ENTER the PASSWORD off the black screen by removing the battery inside the PC.
She said a THERMAL cut-out has occurred. Does anyone have any info or ideas?
Thanks for your time in advance!

at the start, computer turn on and off several times before finally starting
Product: Hp Pavilion M9177C-B
OS: Vista Edition Home Premium
Approximately 2 weeks, when you start the computer by pressing the Start button, blue starting light turns on, then turns off maybe 6 + times before it turns finally for good and then I can hear the hard drives being accuated. I fear that one of those moments that she not turn for good. So, I took the computer on at all times and just close the devices.
Hello slodave,
As you hear hard drives or anything on the spot for a while, it seems that the problem may be due to your diet.
You can look at the power Panel there should be a light on the subject. See if it shows that it begins well before the computer actually turns on (so it comes at the time 6 + it is turn on/off).
If the food will then replace just to continue normal operation.

"Ease of access" appears on the screen to login as I type my password.
Whenever I try to log into Windows 7 Pro on my laptop. The "accessibility" dialog as I type my password, and the letter I type when it pops up is not entered in the password field. I tried to go into the control panel accessibility using the administrator account, disable all the accessibility features by clicking "Edit administrative settings" and check "apply all settings in the paper on the desk."
This does not solve the problem. Is there an OFFICIAL way to COMPLETELY disable ease of access? I saw a few apps that claim to replace system files to get rid of him, but I'd rather not go that route. At this point, I wouldn't be able to something that is clearly a product that people are complained about during some time in Vista.
Thank you for your help.
It is a problem of HP. When it is connected to a remote device or a server, once you return to your local office or lock the pc using remote desktop, the HP PC will act as if the windows key key, this causing shortcuts to act, "WIN + u" being easy access shortcut.

I've just fixed and Geek Squad installed Windows 7 Home Premium edition - is not happy so far.
1 I guess Windows 7 Home Premium is the edition shown on your certificate of authenticity [CoA] or you start having problems with the system. For Windows, which was preinstalled by the PC manufacturer, the COA is on your box or inside the compartment batteries. For the sale to the retail-purchased Windows 7 product key is inside the package that the media [2 DVDs] came in.
2 the certificate of authenticity [see How to Tell - What to look for and for examples] allows the edition of Windows 7 that it is valid for & product key [which you should take note of].
3 before installing a derivation of the password for your account on the day the day you do this: -.
3.1 for decent race & security system, you should create two user accounts 'Admin' password-protected & downgrade your own account on the day the day to be a "Standard" user account I suspect that you are currently using with an Admin account for your daily activities. See precautionary measures 1 - create two additional administrator accounts
3.2 operating daily while only logged on as an Admin increases your risk of having malware "Trojan", planted on your PC. See Why use a standard instead of an administrator account user account
3.3 create a reset disk of password for each account on the PC. See precautionary measure 2 - Make & test a password for each account reset disk
4 when this is done then you can configure a bypass road so that you get automatically on your Standard user account on a daily basis without having to enter a password.
4.1 a click in the search box of the start & menu type netplwiz and then click the shortcut that is offered to you in the [list] dialog box. Select one of the names of the Admin account and enter its password to allow this step.
4.2 uncheck users must enter a user name and password to use this computer. Select the name of your account on the day the day in the list & click OK. Set the password for this account [if it has not been set then leave the entry blank]. Click OK.
4.3 check the box that users must enter a user name and password to use this computer again, and then click OK again.
4.3 when you start the system, then you will go directly on the account of your choice.

Satellite Pro C650: USB flash memory starts to load then crashes
Hello
I have my new Satellite Pro C650 laptop for about 2 weeks and there is already a problem with it.
When I insert a flash drive into a usb drive, it starts to load, but as soon as it loads it crashes as if I disconnected, and then start loading again again and again until I have unplug it really. The flash disk works fine on other computers, so it shouldn't be the problem.
Device Manager indicates that my drivers are ok.
Is not only the USB flash drive mouse works fine when I plug in usb...Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?
If so, thanks in advanceHello
Strange in your case I recommend you test another USB key into the Satellite laptop. I know you have tested this stick in other laptops, but it would be interesting to know how the other USB key would be instrumented C650.
I recommend in addition updated the operating system Windows and the BIOS to the latest status.
In addition, you should go to Device Manager and delete the list of devices USB controllers. Then restart the device and wait for windows has installed again all the USB controllers. -
