ATI Graphics driver guard fails, tried every proposed solution several times and still no success it's Radeon Xpress 200 M Series
What is happening is right, my screen goes black for a few seconds then comes back a msg of error indicates that the graphics have failed, but were retored. The proposed solutions should check for driver updates, manually update, check the manufacturer for updates for my computer and the device. I did this several times for these steps, but nothing works. I thought that the problem has been resolved at one point when a few days everything was fine, but then it started happening again and it is just a continuous circle of the same thing.

ATI Radeon Xpress 200 series problem
I have recently updated from Windows XP to Windows 7. On the one hand, everything is going well except that my ATI Radeon XPress 200 series is no longer able to update. I called ATI and AMD both talk to technicians to see if missed me something or possible solutions to my problem. These last two simply replied with "chipset is too old and is no longer supported", has then hurry the phone is off. Now, I know that my laptop is not the newest or the fastest, but the cchipset was very good before, so I know it works, so I can find a driver for concentrated there. Here are my questions to someone who can help:
Is there a Windows 7 (Vista) driver for this chipset? Y at - it an alternate option to make the driver work for this chipset? Or is it just the time to invest in a new PC or laptop?

ATI graphic driver constantly crashing on the satellite
Hi all, if this question is asked before, please accept my apologies and me directly to the answer.
I have a Toshiba Equium running Windows XP (sp 2) but there seems to be some kind of conflict with the graphics driver (ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP) which forces the system to crash several times a day - sometimes at startup, sometimes it crashes just during the operation. The error message says that ATI Graphics driver got into an infinite loop.
I have the latest version of windows and the ATI updates but it seems to make no difference.
A trawl of the internet forums suggest that many people have had this problem, but nobody seems to have a good solution.
Hi Steve
The BSOD appears and it is said that the ati32dvag.dll of the driver is stuck in an infinite loop. Am I wrong?
I found also several threads on the infinite loop problem ATI graphics driver.
Especially, he arrived at the course to play games or run solid 3d applicationsLucky is right. You must install the graphics drivers from the Toshiba page.
If this does not help, you can try to use the drivers from the site omegadrivers.net -

If I uninstall the ATI graphics driver, is it OK?
I read that there could be problems with the help of the automatic update to install the graphics drivers? That's what I used. In any case, I intend to uninstall my ATI graphics driver and reinstall it in the hope of fixing the problem of sleep.
I want to just make sure: is it OK to just uninstall the graphics driver? The screen still works? I guess there will always be a standard video driver from microsoft so the screen should work again right?
See you soon.
There is no problem by uninstalling the ATI graphics driver and a video driver included with windows will be used as a Standard VGA driver or something like that. So it's not like you'll get a black screen after a reboot.

Satellite L30 - need for ATI RADEON Xpress 200 M driver for Windows 7
Hello world
I have a Satellite L30 with an ATI Radeon Xpress 200 M graphics device.
I installed windows 7 and I have download the catalyst for ati driver on the site, but the computer does not work correctly. If I check the grafic system has recognized a generic VGA device and plug a generic monitor & play and the max resolution is 1024 x 768.
The problem is how to install the correct driver? How can I do recognize the Windows 7 ATI Radeon Xpress 200 M device? Thanks in advance.
Stefano
Hello
The Toshiba European driver page doesn't seem to provide the Win 7 disks for L30.
The L30 is a bit old and it seems that the drivers Win 7 will come out for this series moreOn the European driver page, you can find the Vista display driver
In many cases the Vista drivers work under Win 7I think you should try your luck and should try to reinstall the display driver of the Toshiba page European driver released for Vista OS.
Otherwise, you need to search on external 3rd-party pages
Good luck
