ATI radeon hd 4250

I have a laptop dv7 with the graphics processor ATI Radeon HD 4250.  Lately when I turn on the computer (with power supply), the display goes dark (completely off) after the connection and will not return once again.  I guess the screen darkens when the system tries to start the 4250.

If I turn on under battery power, the screen works fine, no doubt because the 4250 is not be started up as an energy saving measure.  After bootin fully upward under the power of the battery, I can plug in the power adapter and switch to the 4250 with no problems.

Is there something I can do to 'reset' the 4250 so that it starts properly?

BTW, I am on Windows 7 and the pilot of 4250's is up to date.

Hello

Try this...

Start the PC with Intel graophic (on drums), remove the drivers of graphics ATI Control Panel (this will remove possibly driver Intel also). restart the PC (this time PC should start with the basic of windows drivers (no ATI not Intel).)

Download and reinstall the driver from hp.com.

It will be useful. Good luck!!!

  • Driver needed XP for Ati Radeon HD 4250 (Thinkpad Edge 14 - model 019923u)

Hello, I have downgraded from Windows 7 to Xp and I have trouble finding the driver for the video card.

The laptop is a Thinkpad Edge 14 - model 019923u.

Does anyone know the correct driver for this model?

    Thank you

Try DRIVERMAX. I had a PC that had no XP drivers. This program found and installed the drivers in XP and had it work. What it does is find a driver for this type of Board/CPU/GPU/webcam/USB card or sound.

Here are the directions out of my head that I remember best:

    • 1 when you load first it (after it index and askes register you), place the mouse on driver downloads and information, click on start the drivermax agent.
    • 2 loading the agent to ensure that its on the 2nd tab updated. If the (part your will install) shows here then select it and then click Download. Click on the 2nd show updates for only selected updates option.
    • 3 now it will go to the site and show you the pilot/s available. I always choose the driver top list. Click the link to download next to her. Click on continue free user. Make sure that you opened with drivermax and not save on the pc.
    • 4 it will then download and let you know when it is ready to be installed. Another thing if the driver (for what your need) does not appear here, then click on the identity of unknown material below start the agent on-screen main drivermax. Then do the same to download and install it.

There are also clips Youtube how to use DRIVERMAX. See you soon! Hope this works for you.

  • Latest drivers for ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics card / HPG62-340US?

    HPG62-340US

    AMD Athlon II Dual-Core processor

    Windows 7 x 64

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics card

updated to 6 GB of RAM

The ATI graphics driver on my laptop and those on the page of the product for my model are almost a year, in October of 2010. Are there newer drivers available that are compatible with this model? I play games enough low-end who should have no problem to get started on this thing, but they are extremely laggy. I read somewhere that a newer version of this fixes some OpenGL problems and I think that would help with some of my probs.

    Hello:

Yes, there are newer drivers for your video card if get you directly from AMD.

  • A Dell U2414H can work with a mac Pro 3.1 (10.9.5) and an ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT?

    Hello

Here's my dilemma. I recently bought a Dell U2414 as a 2nd monitor to replace my old 2407FWP Dell (has died) with the understanding that the new monitor would work (via a DVI to mini displayport cable). I bought a high quality 3rd party DVI to mini display port cable. Obviously, the monitor does not. I can't get a direct Dell response if this will never work. My hunch is the graphics card can not simply to manage this monitor and it won't work with my system.

FYI: I also have an old DELL G2210 (resolution: 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz) on the other DVI port. So I'll still need a DVI port.

Here are the current video card info:

ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT: VRAM (Total): 256 MB

Here is my Mac info (on 10.9.5):

Model name: Mac Pro (early 2008)

    Model identifier: MacPro3, 1

Processor name: Intel Quad - Core Xeon

    Processor speed: 2.8 GHz

    16 GB OF RAM

Firstly: If someone can give an answer as to if the monitor works with this graphics card, just to settle this matter and move?

Second, assuming that no, my choice appears to be:

    1. return the screen and try to find another 24 "that will work with the original map (someone there suggestions for what is currently still deployed that would work with such an old graphics card?)
    2. upgrade the map so it can handle the new monitor but still run the old.

I chatted with OWC on this subject and they suggested 2 possible upgrade cards but they will not be returned since they could not guarantee that they will work with this monitor there is a risk.

Dell has been pretty useless (I have no one said yes, the other doesn't).

Here are some suggestions from OWC (see below). Can someone comment and tell me if or the other will definitely work or offer another solution? I would really appreciate it!

Or more likely: ATI Radeon HD 5870

    https://eShop.MacSales.com/item/Apple/MC743ZMA/

I know there are more expensive options (Saphire?), but I don't want to spend $500 for a graphics card on a 8 year old computer.

    Thank you!

    Best,

    Joel

This is a screen with a displayPort, a DisplayPort outside and a Mini DisplayPort connector, in 1920 by 1080 max resolution.

You are WAY overthinking this. A mini DisplayPort to mini DisplayPort or a Mini DisplayPort to [size] DisplayPort should do all the work for about US$ 10, no conversion.

You don't need another card unless your is dead.

  • ATI Radeon 9600XT

I'm not having a problem, I'm looking for information.

I have an ATI Radeon 9600XT 128 MB in my Mac G5 1.8 DP.  It has an ADC and DVI port.  However, everything I read says this card has a different arrangement of the output ports and was never used in dual processor systems.

So... what gives?  How could it be in my Mac?  EC which could I really have?

Here's a screenshot of my System Profiler:

Did you buy this new MDD?

I suspect also that was an upgrade option, as the 2.5 DP released at the same time had a standard 9600XT...

  • Memory size incorrect notification in Windows XP for ATI Radeon Xpress 200 M

I have a problem that keeps buging me:

The thing is that I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L20-181, with an ATI Radeon Xpress 200 M graphics card, which, on the toshiba site is specified to support up to 128 MB. After that I tried to configure the size of the memory for the graphics card in the BIOS, to a precise value, Windows Xp is not displayed correctly this amount of memory. I think that the graphics card has another source of memory, DDR2 RAM memory, but I'm not sure.
Initially, I had a 256 DDR2 dim. After configuring the Ati card for a value of 32 or 64 in Bios, entering into Win XP, it displays a value of 128 MB SGDDR.
Then I bought another 256 dim (I have 2 x 256 ddr2 dims now), and an additional value of 128 appeared in the BIOS. When you now set the value 32, Win XP shows me 128 MB SGDDR, and when you set the value of 64 or 128 I get 256 MB SGDDR in Win XP (which is impossible! because the ATI Board is supposed to support only up to 128 MB). This problem can also be caused by the driver. I installed the drivers from the CD of Toshiba, and I can't find another driver to work for her. WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE WIN XP SHOW THE CORRECT VALUE FOR THE MEMORY OF THE GRAPHICS CARD? s ' Please help!

    Hello

As far as I know you can change the size of the UMA (default) 32 MB maximum. 128 MB.
This value, which you can change in the BIOS. I put t know where look you good value, but you should start to DirectX. Command: dxdiag.
Here, you can do any graphics test and you can see the total graphics memory

  • problems with ati radeon x 600 in dc7600

    Hi-
Newbie here... I just installed a X 600/256 MB card pcie ATI Radeon in the HP dc7600 SFF and getting white 4-5 screen when starting with Windows XP.

She also stopped twice in the past two weeks as the card has been installed. No problem with integrated graphics.

My question is: I have loaded which, in my view, are the correct drivers from this site and the AMD/ATI site. Could someone please tell me / link me to drivers. Some do not list even the X 600 just X 550 / X 1050. No use gamming or heavy on this machine. ¿¿Would I better too just stick with the integrated graphics card?

    Hello

I suggest to remove the card, reinstall the drivers for the integrated graphics card and using the onboard graphics for a week as a test.

If the white screen start and stops disappear then you have found the culprit.

If you do not need higher resolution graphics, you are definitely better with the embedded video solution. I suggest using the original drivers.

What dc7600 do you have? (CMT, SFF, or ultra-Slim form factor are the three versions)

    Best regards

  • Drivers XP for Satellite P305D-S8828, ATI Radeon 3100

    Hello

I just installed XP SP3 instead of Vista on my Toshiba Satellite P305D-S8828. But now, my problem is that I can't find a driver for the video card Ati Radeon 3100. I searched Toshiba Download Center, ati download center and I googled for a few hours, but without result.

Any idea where I could get the driver?

    Thans,
    Dan.

    Hello

AFAIK that ATI Radeon 3100 graphics card was also installed in other laptops.

For example, the card has been installed in this European series from Toshiba:

    Satellite L300D PSLC8E
    Satellite L300D PSLE8E
    Satellite Pro A300D PSAK9E
    Satellite Pro L300D PSLC9E

Check the laptop series above and maybe you will find an XP driver.

  • Need driver more recent card ATI Radeon 3650 - Satellite Pro A300-1NT

    Hi all

I'm looking for the latest drivers for ATI Radeon HD 3650 onboard Satellite Pro A300-1NT.
During the game, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen game (2009) by Beenox Inc.... I get squares pixelated on the screen (instead of dust) and possibly a blue screen.

    I use Windows XP Pro
I searched drivers * Toshiba site * and the only one that I found are:
01/12/09 Display Driver ATI Windows XP 8.477

    * Support game * suggests upgrading driver for a newer version.

    * Ati manufacturer support * have driver for ATI Radeon 8650 but not compatibile with Solution Mobile - and asked for Mobile Ati support I got the Transfer:
+ AMD for ATI products customer service does not provide direct technical support for computers laptops/notebooks this moment (by phone or e-mail). If you need live technical support please contact the manufacturer of your laptop/notebook computer system. +

I ask then is there latest drivers for Windows XP

    Hello

I think you have already answered that question yourself...

As you wrote that you can get all the drivers on the Toshiba site and if it isn t a newer driver available you can nothing more I think. Satellite A300 isn t a laptop of game performance so I think that the display drivers are not so important.

The only way to obtain a more recent version, it's looking on external Web sites. Maybe you can get the desktop pilot working had some changes I put t know but really attention! Other drivers don't have protection against overheating and you could destroy the graphics chip. Be very careful of what you do.

Alternatively, you can search on the Toshiba site for other models of laptops with ATI card too. Maybe, you can get a newer version

    Hello

Have you checked the page Web ATI for Linux drivers?
Try google a bit in Linux forums.

PS: I found this site to info Linux on the Toshiba page:
    http://newsletter.toshiba-tro.de/main/
Here, you can compare a configuration and compatibility options.

But you must know that Toshiba supports only the Microsoft OS, and there is no guarantee that the various Linux distributions will work properly

  • Where can I buy the new ATI Radeon 3650 for Satellite A300D mobility?

    Hi all

very simple question, where can I buy new unused mobility graphics card Ati Radeon 3650 for model toshiba A300D - 16Q, omg help me pls, thanks ;)))

Very simple question for you, but not just for the members of the forum.
For desktop computers, you can purchase almost all hardware, but for mobile units, it's a bit complicated, especially if you need new motherboard.

General graphics card is not available in the separate framework and what you can buy is any motherboard. You'll be lucky if you will be able to buy the graphics card used somewhere.

You will be able to find the entire motherboard but the graphics card... it is not easy to find.

  • Satellite L355 problems with ATI Radeon 3100

It's my first post, but I've been lurking for a while I'm a big fan of Toshiba. I've owned a few and now the laptop more recent I'm causing me some problems.

I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite L355D-S7829. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and have updated with all the latest and greatest from Microsoft and Toshiba software. The problem I encounter is that no matter what I can not do the ATI Radeon 3100 graphics card to appear in my device settings, or anywhere in the system. What is looming is the "Mobile Intel (r) 4 series express chipset family" no matter what I do with the drivers on the Toshiba site.

I looked for similar problems on here and on the web and have not been able to find an answer. I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing, but I am lost on what to do. My knowledge of laptops is not it, but I'm competent enough on desktop computers. I am sure that the ATI Radeon 3100 is a card on board and cannot be deleted? I got the used laptop and would really like to make it work so that I can play the games to the best of "capabilities.

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hello

Unfortunately, I can't say much to the problem described. As I see that you have a model of cell phone US and all the drivers available for the operating systems, you can find on WE support page.

I put t know what version of Win7 you use, but you will find a suitable display driver 8.634.1 version.
    Have you already installed it.
