  My scan of my Officejet Pro 8600 function will not work unless I have run a scan uning the software installed on the PC.

  When I try to scan from the control panel of the printer, I get a notice that says:

  "For scanning to a computer to make sure that the feature is enabled.

  "Windows: open PC software, select the Scanner, andf Actions then select Manage scan of the computer.

  Q - How can I do this?

  Note: since I downloaded Windows 10 I was unable to find this software; Cortana does not work in my area. If I click on the HP software on my PC now I just get "click here to connect a new printer", which is stupid because it is already connected wireless. My other option is to click on "HP Scan" - this works!... great, so I can scan like that, but there is no setting anywhere under HP Scan that will help me solve the problem.

  In order to activate "Scan to Computer", you need to install your software first.

  What you wrote, it seems that you have just upgraded to win 10.

  When you see the icon of the printer and it will prompt you to "Connect for a new priner", please click it and it will guide you to install your printer on 10 to win.

  Activate "Scan to computer".

  Here are the steps to activate "Scan to Computer".

  1. Go and click on the software for your printer.
  2. Under the "Scan" it should be a "manage Scan to Computer", click on it.
  3. Select "Scan to computer".

  I created a sample file which should be helpful in understanding how to do this with a table:

  It has a function named fadeOthers in the compositionReady Manager that contains three things:

  1. An array of the names of countries (element)
  2. A join operation to remove the calling element of the array
  3. A loop that runs through the rest of the table and done a fadeOut on all the remaining elements of the country.

  Each country element calls this function with its own name of the element as an argument, that is, sym.fadeOthers("USA"); the USA element.

  The function itself is well commented and there is also a reset button that fades everything back, so you can try each one country without reloading the page. You can then apply the concepts explained in my example to your publication to other elements fade as you want.

• Why the button works only in test scene, not test animation?

  Hi all, I have a very frustrating problem with my flash project.

  I have two scenes in my flash animation, each of them has a lot of links and navigation within itself. And there is a button that takes you from one scene to the other.

  When I test scene 2, everything works fine. However, when I test the entire film, scene 2 navigation will not work and there is no error!

  Did someone just thought about what goes wrong?

• OfficeJet 6700: ADF works only when you scan not copy

  Our officejet 6700 has an irrational problem - will take the ADF and scanning a document using the pc without problem, but if load you something using the function copy on the machine itself, he acknowledges that he is a responsible original, you hit copy and is not feeding the sheet through and copy from scratch!

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you are not able to use the ADF on your HP Officejet 6700 Premium to make Copies, but you can use it to perform a scan.

  I would like you to do a hard reset:

  1. disconnect all cables and cards of memory in the printer. Unplug the power cord, directly from the back of the printer when the printer is still on.

  2. unplug the other end of the power cord.

  3. If there is a power supply on the power cord, disconnect one end and reconnect it.

  4. at the end of 60 seconds, plug it directly into a wall outlet (not a surge protector or battery backup because they can cause the printer to lose over time basic functionality).

  5. connect the power cord to the back of the printer.

  6. the printer should automatically power back upward. If not, turn it on with the power button.

  7. try to make a photocopy (if your printer is a printer all in one) before you connect the cables from the printer.

  8. connect the other cables needed to the printer.

• HP Officejet 6500 E709a series works only on some machines not shared.

  In my house, I have a "central" computer that I have attached the printer HP Officejet 6500 E709a Series.  It is Windows Vista.  I have 5 other computers in the House running different versions of Windows 7 (Home Premium or Ultimate) and they connect to the server via WiFi.

  The server can print pages to test very well.  Three of the five connect and print correctly.  But the other two - which, of course, are the two who absolutely * must * be able to print - unable to connect.  Different Assistants say they connect, but when I try to print a Test Page, it fails.

  I think it has something to do with the printer drivers installed on the network computers, but I can't find a way to remove these drivers, and then try again.  So, when I remove the printing device, and then add the computer just re-active again, the old drivers after.

  How can I remove the drivers for a fresh install (theoretically)?

  Don't forget... the printer works fine on the computer, to which it is attached.  Tellling so get the installation disc, etc., is the opposite of the useful.

  Thanks for the reply.  It really helped, but it was nice to have an answer.  =*)

  What I finally was this:

  1: I opened the Panel and went to printers.

  2: I removed the printer I tried to install.

  3: I clicked once on another printer.

  4: at the top, near the menu bar are a few other links.  I clicked on the print server properties

  5: a new window will appear.  I click on the tab drivers.

  6: here, I deleted the drivers of the old printer and the drivers for the new printer I tried to install.

  7: some of them wouldn't uninstall.  So I shrugged my shoulders and who agreed.

  8: I saved the changes, and then completely shut down my computer.

  9: I turned on my computer.

  10: I went to this area and checked again.  I tried again to remove the things that he wouldn't let me delete before.  A couple of times it worked.  (If so, I did the closing down / restart the process again).

  11: now, I went back to the Panel and printers.

  12: I clicked on the button Add a new printer.

  13: I followed the steps.

  14: this time, the correct drivers installed and the thing that worked!

  I have a 'advanced search form' which has a few options to check through for example age, city, nationality, etc. and I have two sets of records, one for the user who has the gender are stored in $SameGenderCheck

  And I have a SQL query for the search criteria for the search form.

  Here's the SQL statement:

  Okay, I think that it is actually the part that is causing problems for you. You want that all the criteria to NARROW your results.  You want to ethnicity, nationality, marital_history and the height to be optional criteria, so you have combined with the rest of the statement with a RC. But an OR condition will always expand results, not close. If you must change the first residence in one and. GOLD is used within the jurisdiction parens for these criteria are OK.

  But here's the problem; If the user has no entry for ethnic origin, nationality, the marital_history and the height of the criteria, no results will be returned. Regular SQL will not solve your problem. You can work around the problem by replacing the equality by the LIKE predicate operator and put a wildcard for users who do not have that criterion in their profile. But that works only for text fields, not digital, and I don't like.

  A better solution is to dynamically create the WHERE clause, remove the criteria of ethnicity, nationality, marital_history and the height of the WHERE clause if the user does not have these fields completed.

  As far as I know you need the infrared receiver only to control the MCE Win.
  The receiver is plugged into the USB port. Please check in Device Manager if the receiver is recognized. Also, check the cable of the infrared transmitter is also related.
