Adding a printer
krg110, please tell the forum which version, edition, and the service pack level of Windows® you are running? In addition, what did you do to add this printer to date?
You have the installation CD Epson Stylus CX7400 all-in-One? If you have installed from it, you will need to download updates from the web site. If you do not have the CD-ROM, visit the Epson Stylus CX7400 all-in - One Printer Drivers & Downloads page. Install the appropriate package of combo (32-bit or 64-bit ). Have you read the 'Start Here' sheet? In addition, please read the 'Quick Guide'.
In theory, you could try, after setting up the printer, just plug and see if the hardware installation wizard detects the correct drivers. However, I would notrecommend this method when you have the ability to directly download software Epson (see above).
No member of this forum is omniscient! Provide complete information allows access to all the answers.

I run Windows XP Home Edition and have a printer Epson Stylus C43UX Color. Help! My router died and I work from a Home Office, so I use a wireless on loan from my ISP... it is a temporary solution until they can get out of my house and install a new router. It allows to copy, but not print from my computer. The computer recognizes it but it says it is offline connection and guard my documents in what. My wifi lite is on the printer...

Just purchashed Epson Stylus 630 wireless all in one printer, added to the WiFi network successfully and can print from all accesoriess except the laptop computer with Vista 64-bit.
