The PC had no problem until 2 weeks ago when I started to have spikes short sound/image (sound distortion and image)

This occurs very randomly when you play using utube or playing an MP3 file (sound only).

They last for a second or two and are very rare, but are becoming very annoying.

All suggestions welcome.

I found the following answer to a user with problems sound like mine.

There was another thread here at Dell in which a person with similar problems discovered that a Dell update which installed the 'Diag Dell control device"caused"a latency DPC problem bad enough to distort the audio recording and playback (as confirmed by the performance analysis software).  In addition, "uninstall the system update SupportAssist from Dell and Dell SupportAssistAgent (automatically installed on my laptop on February 10 and 12, 2015 respectively) removes the device (with the device, control device of Dell system Analyzer) and eliminates the problem."  Does this sound familiar?  In the meantime, I'll try the system restore if it goes back at least six months.

I uninstalled Dell SupportAssist and SupportAssistAgent and my problems seem to be resolved.

  • First film edited with Premiere - proxy, audio questions and multi-cames

    I have several questions that I have not found in the videos and forums, at least not for my situation. I'm finishing the revision of sequences now adding comments in prelude and will begin soon to change it. Please excuse the long post.

    Background:

    I'm working on my first film, a documentary. Most of my work is 10-11 interviews, about an hour each. The majority is 4K Panasonic GH4, but some of the images is an Olympus MDGS EM5 II 1080.

    I recorded the sound using a LAV and a shotgun microphone, each goes in its own channel in a Tascam DR - 70 d, an external audio recorder, with a line going into the camera for reference. Audio and video files (at least one, since GH4 brings several) will have a slate tone to the head, created by the audio recorder. The recorder has captured the audio 24-bit, 16-bit audio captured camera. The recorder fooled also two other channels to lower 12db audio in the case of audio peaks.

    I will be changing on Mac laptop - 2013 MacBook Pro, OS 10.11.5, 2.9 Ghz Intel Core i7 memory of 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650 M 1024 MB graphics card. I think I need to create my images 4 K proxies.

    All images is storage on my external drive of G. The interviews are separated and are located in the folders of each interviewee.

    The final project will be 1080, not 4K.

    Questions:

    Naming - being a hybrid, the GH4 breaks an interview of an hour in several separate files. Should I change the names of all files, or keep them in folders named in Premiere Pro? If I should change them, should I do it before swallowing?

    First synchronize audio and video, but since I have an audio file and several video files, I synchronize each video file individually or assemble them somehow, then synchronize? If each of these excerpts from the interview is sewn together, wouldn't that make editing more easy?

    When you create proxy for video files, also create proxy for audio files separate? Once synchronized, will be presented first the Hi output version of the resolution of the video and audio?

    Multicamera - in one case, I have an interview with two 1080 cameras. But for the rest, I've shot with a camera in 4K, so I intend to use a section cropped interview (zoom) when an important statement is mentioned, simulating a two cameras set up. Given that I have to create a sequence of multi camera after I ingest proxy files, first will be a problem activating/deactivating files proxy for the salvation of the res files?

    B - roll is added later, once the interviews are published about. It will be a few (not 4K) images and photos. Make the proxies of these too or first care to have all files proxy or a mixture?

    Finally, I have never edited a video which has been more than 10 minutes. This film could be of 40 minutes or up to 90. Everything I need to know to make the editing more smooth? I am a beginner!

    Thank you for bearing with me and thank you in advance for any idea!

    1. allow only file names.  Make your organization with records (hard drive) and ferries (project).

    3. the audio files are small and will not need of proxies.  Export will always use the original media.

    4. possibly.  My first attempt was a disaster that froze the machine so badly, I had to do a hard reset.  However, you need not go back to the original of the sequence to make your cut-ins.  Proxy media will do fine work.  Simply place a copy of the plans at the 50% level in V1 and a second copy on the scale of 100% in V2 when creating the source multicam sequence...  Will allow you to see the full versions and then cropped the multicam editing.

    5. the photos no need of proxies.  If the B-roll change, make proxies for those.  PP not care a spirit to keep all the images the same.

  • Audio all of a sudden in audio red and is more audible?

    When you work in first Pro (CS6) all of a sudden its got cut. When checking the Master Multiview timeline all audio tracks had blushed and no pics more appeared. But when I click on the file itself it gets a preview and here, the audio is still played and can be heard. How can I get my audio back?

    Reloading of the project does not help. Removing the cache organization serenader leaves the audio peaks also didn't help. These files are not recognized as necessary to render it again.

    OK, found an answer. Agency had lost the allocation between the two audio lines in files both speakers (left / right). They may be assigned in "audio channels". Whyever they have lost Middle edition... no matter who never had this kind of bug?

  • Master audio level is "red".

    photo.JPGI just want to know what it means when my main audio level rises up to 'red' level and not coming back down until I stop the clip? Also affecting anything else in the video as the other noise levels or quality?

    What it means, is there a time given in this clip where audio peaked in ' red '. This suggests that followed carefully during playback for which who appears, or perhaps to apply some sort of effect of limiting or compression on the clip.

  • Why do files audio-pasted or imported chess clips & change to Brown when I reopen it a project?

    Hello

    I'm new to first set and had difficulty moving the clamps from one project to the other. When I copy / paste, and when I use the import tool to import a project or the timeline, everything seems normal until I got close, and then reopen the project. When I do this, the audio files in any items transferred in this way are missing; they are now Brown instead of blue by default on the chronology and their path is available, the audio peaks are completely flat.

    This is a very troubling mistake, because you can do a lot of work after importing these clips only on first startup the next day and find that your audio is missing. All the video clips imported or pasted is there, so why it can't sort on audio?

    Most of these audio files is a Sony FS100 .mts AVCHD files, but recently this error is also a clip that I have edited in hearing, so this isn't only a problem first have the synchronization of audio from AVCHD.

    I use the first CS6 6.0.3 on Windows 7 Professional.

    Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

    Sean,

    I wonder if the render and replace you will get what you need?

    If the Audio & video are related, Alt + click on the Audio Clip, then Rt-click above and choose rendering/replace.

    Please let us know if that helps.

    Good luck

  • Matte & low - audio sounding after export

    Hello

    I am editing in Premiere Pro CS4. If you see the images below, it will tell you a little more about the system and the parameters I use. I gave my client a DVD and she complained the audio. I asked him to send me a description of what she was not happy, and she wrote this: "with audio, the sound quality was lost, it was not loud and clear. And the base and the beats were very low. Came out very thud '. Now, I agree with her. One of my fellow editors that uses another system produced a video and immediately I noticed the sound was wonderful. I could feel the base and hear several instruments.

    My original audio peaked like this:

    audiopeak.jpg

    I asked someone what was the best level to set in and he said that he peak at-6. So now my audio picks like this:

    -6 sound.jpg

    After the filing of the complaint, I asked a few more people, and they said that the green audio level should be level 6. So now my audio picks like this:

    adjust audio window.jpg

    Now I don't know if the settings above have solved the problem, but at least on the computer, it sounds better.

    It's the Premiere version I use:

  • After the update of PP 2015.3, old project of opening blocked computer windows 10

    Maybe it's another symptom of problems already reported today, but it looks different.  I have several projects that worked well until what I upgraded to PP 2015.3 this morning.  Now all begin to load, begin their reprocessing of the audio peaks and the part through the entire computer crashes. The mouse does not respond, the Windows key causes, etc.  I have to restart the computer.  The computer is a Windows 10 computer updated with a lot of horses and disk space and doesn't show any problem with other programs, including other updates of products, such as Adobe Photoshop 2015.5.  I tried to create a new project and import a unique piece of video, and that seems to work but it was a much smaller project that I usually use.  The video is all .m2ts format.

    It is a very big problem for me.  I need of a fix or a solution workaround!

    He gave up after a long chat session with Adobe technology to use my remote machine, and put back me on 2015.2.  All the works. Looks like the new version fails on all of my AVCHD files.

  • Reduce your Mic comments

    I did a voice-over and some audio peaks to places were the Narrator started the voice-over, IE in the beinging of each sentence, it's kind of a PPPP noise into the microphone.  It could be that I used the wrong type of MIC but I play with the location, etc. in order to get the best quality.  Anyone knows how I can reduce that noise PPPP was that she also maxed out on the volume also?  The rest of the audio seems pretty clean.

    Thanks in advance,

    Phil

    Phil,

    What you describe looks like plosives, which are generally regarded as transients in Audio. Adobe Audition has many tools, which should help to eliminate a large part of it. Under the effect of restoration, there is (might have moved to SC 6) transitional repair. Which is often better done with the view of Spectral Analyzer, rather than waveform Mode.

    If you get lost (repair plosive is as much art, science), the hearing Forum would be a good place to ask for help: http://forums.adobe.com/community/audition

  • Issue of expression: continue to add to the value

    Hello!

    I want to animate the cameras z-position based on an audio track. I converted the audio to keyframes, but now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to feed the audio peak on cameras z-order values that they continue to add each other.

    Simply connecting the z-position of the camera for the keyframe data will make the aircraft to fly backwards, but I need to keep moving forward in a pulsing motion. So when there's a spike of audio amplitude, the camera moves faster forward and when there is a flat waveform the camera doesn't move or moves slightly.

    Is this possible to do?

    This expression of the Position should work. Set mult to set sensitivity (how much it moves in response to the audio) and digraph to define how it moves when there is no audio data.

    mult = 10;

    minVal = 5;

    L = thisComp.layer ("Amplitude Audio");

    AUD = L.effect ("the two Channels")("Slider");

    Accum = 0;

    for (f = timeToFrames (inPoint); f<= timetoframes();="">

    Accum += Math.max (aud.valueAtTime (framesToTime (f)), digraph);

    }

    value + [0,0, accum * mult]

    If you have separated the dimensions of the device, change the last line to be suitable for the Z Position:

    accum + value * mult

  • generation new peak file and audio every time I open the CS5.5 project

  • Any way to equalize/limit/compress at the level of an audio track, no peak?

    Im working on a music based project, a lot of pieces together. The driver is wearing a LAV on most of the shoots, but obviously they record that LAV anywhere. IM especially dealing with a quality mic signal, but the levels of volume between his teaching and when musicians from 30 to 60 starting is important enough. worked with spikes, but that doesn't do much. I'm more looking to limit the main track to match the music to the conversation and then stimulate the entire signal at an appropriate level. Is there a way to do this without going into the hearing?

    ETA-work in hearing and this approach kills the fidelity of the music. I think Im in a bind.

    You can try running on a compressor of single band on the audio track under Audio effects - then click on custom Setup to adjust (if you know what you're doing...) But you can lose the audio quality of your Symphony.  There is a lot of overlap?  A lot of back-and-forth?  While it is relatively easy, I would perhaps cross the track with a razor and separate the 2 different levels and work on them individually.

  • Audio Flash with a peak

    Hi guys,.

    I'm a flash program by which sound clips can be played simultaneously

    I put the voume of these sound sequences to 0.8, however when clips 2 or more audio play simultaneously it sounds for me like the audio is cutting/pic

    Consider when multiple audio clips are played their levels are added? Which would explain the clipping

    The only way I can think of fixing it is every time another layer of sound is added to cut the voume of all sound layers to make the overall level of 0.8

    That is to say

    1 layer sound level will be 0.8

    2 layers of sound, each layer will be 0.4 and, therefore, 0.8 total

    3 layers of sound, each layer will be 0.27 and, therefore, 0.8 total

    .. .etc

    This seems time-consuming

    Y at - it a faster way to the trouble of sorting

    See you soon

  • Does not even load peaks or audio

    I recently experienced problems with my program Elements 9 after that I loaded in a new HP PC.  When I'm trying to change my project it doesn't let me import audio or photos that I use in my old laptop.  I updated from XP to Windows 7.  Which would explain by itself?  In addition, the editing is very slow, and actually my program actually stops several times during the editing process.  My computer said that all processing power has been used once (I have a quad with 3.6 ghz speed computer... I bought sepcifically after getting advice from this forum).  I am very disappointed.  Should I upgrade?  Should I take the two projects I have loaded the program on and then reload?  I can't do videos until I do something.  Help!  Bill

    As I mentioned in my first post, the photos directly from cameras are much too large for use in Premiere Elements project. For video high definition, your photos should not be greater than 2000 x 1500 pixels in size.

    ITunes music usually cannot be loaded in a software of video in its native format because it is protected against copying, and trying to do so will throw an error code. iTunes has eased these protections a little, but it is still very common to do so. The solution is at the exit of the song (s) in the CD and then rip them off in the computer as a MP3 player. This will override the copy protection. (An alternative is to use Amazon.com as your music source, because they use almost no copy protection on their music).

  • Audio popping up on imported Clips

    Hello

    I am very new to Final Cut Pro and 2 major problems:

    First of all, I hear audio pop regular, strong throughout my clips.

    Second, my exported files are far too great, to more than 9 GB for a 9 minute clip.

    My company is video teaching of music online. I used to edit using an older version of Premiere Pro, but passed to Final Cut, because I heard it was easier to sync for multicamera editing clips.

    I recently completed the shooting of months of video tutorial for a new online course, using a configuration of 2 camera, with all the noise (LAV mic, guitar and backing track signal) enter one of the two cameras Sony HDR PJ-620 via a Mackie mixer, in order to save the record audio separately.

    I am a professional musician and know a fair amount to get a decent sound in the studio, so my raw files from video MTS sound of intact, with good balance and EQ level. I managed to tweak everything as I wanted until I started filming.

    However, when I import files into Final Cut to edit, I experience loud pop during playback. It is extremely sensitive and occurs every 3 or 4 seconds.

    At first, I assumed that the problem came from my system, hard to follow. I use proxy media during editing. However, persistent organic pollutants are still on the video after export.

    My sound levels in the project is without cutting. They peak at about-3 db. I did no equalizer or sound settings setting and there is no audio compression or effects, just the audio crude comes from the MTS file.

    Secondly, as I mentioned above, when I export my project via the master file by default settings, the file size is huge. It seems incredible, but it weighs about 9 GB for a 9 minute video.

    My videos are meant to be online streaming via a delivery service of content such as Amazon S3 or Vimeo Pro (not YouTube). I need them to be of good quality, but much smaller than they are currently.

    Can you recommend a decent framework of export? Should I have converted the MTS to Mov files before import into my project? I used to do this with Premiere Pro, but he said I wouldn't need to in Final Cut.

    I'm under El Capitan 10.11.5. My version of Final Cut is 10.2.3.

    I use a mid-2014, retina 15 "Macbook Pro with a processor Intel Core i7 2.8 GHz, 16 GB of memory. My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    IF you work with the camera .mts files, the media was not imported correctly. If you import from the camera through the window to import the files get reupholstered for QuickTime and tracks worked for production. . MTS is a horrible format and should not be used in production. You might try to optimize media. This creates files of proti which are very large and require fast disks, but are of very high quality.

    Export a master file and set the H.264 format.

  • Cut the beginning of the audio clip

    Hi all

    The music of music audio I am wanting to use a pause of a few seconds before it is actually.

    Is there some way I can adjust the audio clip, so I can get it to start bang on?
