audio with help. AVI files-problem with export

Hello

I desperately need help with what ages have tried to export relatively simple video. I have a. AVI video (with audio that plays well in the player windows media), I imported successfully into Adobe premiere 9, edited (just cut the first and last section of the 2 minute video) and added a black title with text slide. Simple. This edited video plays well in the elements (or at least he did until I started to play around trying to export it to how much the noise disappeared completelty! Cahnging the volume etc. makes no difference), but any format I try to export it seems to go out with is no noise at all, or a leaking soundtrack that does not follow the video. Help!

Please can someone advise on this - I bought Adobe Premier elements specifically to edit this video and this done urgently need but have done nothing but struggle with this software

All I want is to edit the orginal video and export it to a format that I can send/share with colleagues as a file type, they can see on for example windows media player.

See you soon

Sarah

I deleted an important video out of my SD card and downloaded a program to retrieve it. The program has recovered the video, but I'm unable to watch the video on my computer now. • Audio on. AVI files suddenly stops working

I started to capture some of my game playing using MSI Afterburner. Things last a lot last week. I save a session, bring in first Pro CS5, edit video and export it with ease. (After a few days of tweaking)

Fast forward to today and I make my same steps, except now when I add a custom audio captured video play in the source, or it will play in the sequence. In fact, the audio channel of the sequence is not even appear. Sound levels do not even move.

Can I add media exported videos already finished and the audio works fine. Can I record my own voice and audio works fine.  When I insert some past projects, after re-login to the media, I get the message, "Audio does not match the format of the connected media."

    Look like the file properties.

Here is what my first provision looks like with the audio channel is not recognized. (Its a little messy because I have things been reorganized to see if things work + only with a monitor.)

    What I tried:

1 messing with my Audio preferences in Premiere Pro CS5 and Windows 7 64-bit on the Panel.

    2. updating my audio drivers

    3. re-first Pro CS5 installation

4 KeyboardDrake: changing the audio tracks of mono, stereo and 5.1 - was always nothing.

What happened before this road that occur:

This weekened I picked up a new drive external DRIVE to store the video capture on. Meanwhile I organized other hard drivers, but nothing on my installation of system main/Adobe installation drive. I deleted some unknown files on a drive that is no longer used. Part of me worries that I deleted some stray audio and video codecs that first Pro CS5 could have used to read these files. Is it still possible? Would that matter?

    Now I'm re-installation of afterburner.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

The first two things I would consider would be:

    1. When you import, you did time PrPro to comply fully with the Audio? See this article for more details: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/726693?tstart=0
    2. Make sure that the export settings in your video program screen-cap have not changed, as multiplexing = OFF, or maybe the export for the Audio setting have been changed.

  • .avi file problems

    Hello

I have a file of VMWare Workstation instituted .avi.  The codec for this is VMnc and it is installed on my computer.

Specifically, the .avi will play in Windows Media Player v11, however, when I bring it in PEv7 the clip is black.  At some point, I have a part of the video, but he goes.

I have attached the file if you want to play with it.

    Can someone help me?

Unfortunately, having a CODEC installed on his system, it's just for reading. The change is totally different from the edition. The chances that a CODEC will allow editing are small.

I would look into the conversion of this file to a DV - AVI Type II w / 48 KHz 16-bit PCM/WAV. I use DigitalMedia converter, but there are freeware programs that do a good job too.

    Good luck

  • How to convert AVI files for first CS4 (Mac) with VLC - Please Help!

Hi thanks for the reading-post it here for the first time.

I'm another grass sorry, trying to convert AVI files, so I can import them into first CS4 on a Macbook Pro laptop. I am using VLC on the macbook to perform the conversion. I don't want to use free converters such as iSquint (tried and many others) b/c they cause a significant loss of video quality. But I'm trying to do it for free! (I'm broke).

Been read tons here and on other forums to get advice first, but in my view, none is really specific to my situation.

I'm fine (slight quality loss) video but NO Audio. I want the audio too!

AVI files seized on an old NV3 camera SD card.

VLC said the Codecs for these files I got off the SD card are as follows:
    0 workflow:
    Type - video
    Codec - MPEG - 4 (XVID) video
    Resolution - 640 x 480
    Rate - 30

    Stream 1:
    Type - Audio
    Codec-MS ADPCM (audio ms)
    Channels: Mono
    Sampling frequency - 22050 Hz
    Bits per sample - 16

I tried several different configurations with VLC conversion according to the documentation of "Supported file Formats for import in first CS4": http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/PremierePro/4.0/WSf52ca809ac8f6c7135876f961243120b72d-8000.htm l

For example I tried to convert the same file as follows:

    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG-1 VIDEO 1024 bits/Audio MP3 192-bit
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG-1 VIDEO 1024 bits/Audio MP3 128-bit
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG-1 VIDEO 1024 bits/MPEG Audio 128-bit
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG-2 VID 1024 bits/Audio MP3 128-bit
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG - 1 1024 bits/MPEG Audio 16 bit VID
    Wrapper MPEG 1 - converted with MPEG - 1 1024 bits/MP3 Audio 16 bit VID

When converting to MP4 (MPEG-4) I get a general error while importing first so no dice on that, and I tried a lot of other configurations/combinations, but not all.

I check each result with VLC before import into the Prime Minister and they play both audio & video fine with VLC.

My question is the following: what settings can I select in VLC for audio first? Or if there is a specific codec I need to download and install a download link... would be much appreciated.

    Alternative solution?...

If I put these files on the SD card in my camera and click on and drag them on the macbook pro laptop as AVI files (instead of dragging to a PC first, as was the case)... don't you think it would make a diff?  Also, I tried sucking to the top of the camera first, but that didn't work... the camera turns on when connected to the computer... so that you can not navigate to a file on the camera and then use the GUI first to suck.

I have a laptop. These original files play well with Windows Movie Maker because I downloaded the appropriate codec. Hi and low tried a mac version of this codec without result. CS4 my install discs do not work on Windows/PC. Trust me I wish they did! Even the configuration required on the package is in the absence of any mention of Windows. Windows Movie Maker convert .mov... that was my first game b4 plan, I realized that VLC was quite robust and user-friendly in its Export Wizard codec functionality.

Any help would be much appreciated! I swear! I'm banging my head against the wall and I want to just change already!

    Thank you!

Do not use the flow function; This isn't what you are doing.  (Although technically, I don't think it matters)

Use the convert/save option.  The first screening, video - H.264 + AAC (MP4), should work great.  Don't change anything.  Save the file with a MOV or MP4 extension.

If you get audio weird sounding, then create your own preset that matches the Video - H.264 + AAC (MP4) preset, uncheck only Audio the Audio tab and convert to video.  Then run convert/Save using the Audio - CD preset.  Save the file as a WAV (or an AAC?).

Import the 2 files into PR.  You shouldn't have synchronization problems if the points are aligned in when you add them to the sequence.

    Maybe that's the problem!

Hello! Welcome to the forums here at Adobe!

As long as you can hear the sound when you play through your final sequence, you should have no problems to export as long as your audio options are correctly set in your export Panel. Nesting of the sequences that you have described is a very common task and will not at all affect your audio files.

Make sure that your "Export the Audio" checkbox is checked in the window of your export. If this isn't the case, then that would explain your problems. If it is checked, then there may be something more deep as the cause, in which case it would be helpful if you could post us screenshots of your table of sound mixing and the head section of your audio tracks in the timeline panel.

Also make sure that you're using Adobe PrPro 5.5 and that you have all the updates correct, including the RED importer, as the new RED files do not work in older versions of first. If files were shot on the RED Epic, sound doesn't work at all in native file (known bug) first and so you will have to use program Cine - X RED to export audio files to make separately and synchronize with your video. However, you would never get audio in your timeline at all, and so I think you would have noticed this problem before that you have to export, so I think that's not your problem.

Good luck and report what you find with your export settings!

    Hello Jorstar1,

Thank you for your message.  Windows Media Player 11 supports .avi, but compression can dictate whether he will play or not.  This is very probably a Codec issue, you can perform a websearch for a Codec that will play any avi compression.
Please let us know if it did or did not help to resolve this problem.

  • Problem with the sync audio with audio 48000 hz camera with back of 44100 hz? Need help any suggestions?

I recently did a project and recorded my video with 48000 hz and then accidentally recorded my audio with 44100 hz lapel mic. Now, I need to synchronize the two together but seems impossible? What should I do?

I tried to convert the audio in audacity to 48000, but this did not help why is audio desynchronization and how to fix this?

As pointed out already, the sync problem has nothing to do with 48 k against 44.1 k and everything to do with the fact that the timing of audio recorders is a little sloppier than VCRs. Both camcorders will match very well and can derive only one or two images in two hours, if at all, from my experience with multi-camera shoots.

You can either speed up the clip a little bit, or put a razor cut in the audio clip from time to time and change the next piece of audio on a frame or two to maintain the necessary synchronization. Tedious work.

  • Problem with export history related to the incopy file

    Hi all

I am facing problems when exporting all stories in a document as an incopy files. I use Edition-> Incopy-> export-> order stories & graphics all. The document contains a lot of out of the page text boxes and a huge related story that flows through a number of textframs linked, this real content related story. The story also contains tables and images of the arrival. When running above the export command, I get files incopy for all charts and out of text boxes box but not to the related main content.

It is a document provided by one of my clients. I'm actually a plugin developer and have no knowledge of very deep design. I'm trying to understand what could be the possible reasons for this problem.

I tried the same command with that two executives linked text box. It creates the incopy file. What I could have done wrong in my document. All suggestions will be welcome.

    Thank you

    D

Again, I have encountered the same problem a few days back and understand what is happening.

Related tagged frames of related texts that are closely linked with the xml structure could not be exported to InCopy when the xml structure has lack of start and end tags.

This case occurs when the xml content is paid within the frameworks of related related texts, part of the content (para or image caption) is moved to different textframe unrelated. This action leaves a placeholder to the linked frame tag (used to move content back in place if ever, newly created frame has been removed) causing an inconsistency in the xml structure.

I capture video games using Youtube channel for a game, been working on it for 9 months now. Today, I've updated my Adobe Premiere, I use capture software AND the K-Lite Codec pack. I shouldn't have updated three of them all at once. Argh! Now, first will not import the old footage I captured with D3Dgear. The videos were AVI1 files with Fast V2 of MPEG - 4 codec. I can deal with that.

This first is worse, and my biggest problem is, matter of mp4 files with audio files that I exported from first since last year. I use the "H.264 - HD Youtube720p" preset when exporting, as well as the audio is AAC Codec, 48 kHz, stereo. Why this can happen? How can I check / fix this?

    Any help will be appreciated.

Not a good idea. Should not be installed in the first place. Codec Pack are known to spoil the codec on your computer.
