• FM-xref adds text to the element

  I have been using FrameMaker 10 to convert to fm in format XML DITA files. Some of my < title > elements containing variables "conkeyref" that the same subject is used in many different products.

  When I cross these topics, FrameMaker automatically adds the literal text in the title (including the placeholder text that uses my variable) after the tag < xref > in my XML. When I generate the output using the DITA OpenToolkit, cross-references do not update using the value of the variable, but use instead the literal text which is the addition of Frame.

  For example, there is a line extracted from the XML file:

  < p > < Xref type = "fm:" href = "dp_about.xml #id11CKI0FK0BI" > Documentation in AutoCAD procedures < / xref > < / p >

  AutoCAD is simply the placeholder text to identify where a variable was set. When it is processed by the OpenToolkit of DITA, procedures of Documentation in AutoCAD will appear in the output.

  If I manually remove the text added automatically (as below), the output is generated correctly using the defined variable value.

  Once I open the same file XML in FrameMaker, updates of cross references and the critical text is added in the XML. I know that I can turn off Auto-charge xrefs to open a file, but this is not enough when you add a new cross reference. This text is very inconvenient and remove manually every XML file using a text editor is not an option (I have currently more than 900 files in the document).

  This problem also occurs if I change the title of a topic. Existing references not be updated to include the new name of title when they are processed by the OpenToolkit.

  How can I force FrameMaker does not add this text when a reference is added to the XML?

  Please find the settings file located in % FRAMEMAKER_INSTALLED_DIR%/fminit/ditafm/ditafm.ini.

  In this file, locate the parameter named "WriteLinkTextToFmXrefs" in the section "GeneralExport". Its default value is 1. Change it to 0 to get the desired behavior.

• Time stretch problem

  Hi experts

  I'm a big user on the use of time-stretch. I think that's the name when hovering in a bottom right of an audio region with the cmd-key?

  Anyway, the little strange symbols shows up (looks like a line with two small speakers around it)

  As far as I can see the logic manual say that the region of origin is replaced by time-tense.

  But is it possible to remember or find the region before being stretched at a time? It was so long as it is out of the list of the events-so can't cmd - z...

  Can I cancel a region of before it was stretched loooong ago?

  -J' hear now that I have handed it too if small cracks or pop appear...

• Secure connection is not in the normal works OK in private, I have no addons, I erased ~/.mozilla iceweasle 38.1 debian stretch.

  Do you know which version of Firefox your Iceweasel is from? Looks like that the "ESR" version of Firefox, but may have some differences in default behavior...

  Maybe the problem is caused by the site you recognizing cookies already together?

  You can use the network (menu Developer) monitor to monitor changes of redirects:

  I start by opening the network monitor in the lower part of the regular tab, then try to load the site tab and look at where are the requests and the breakpoint. If nothing appears, maybe use the Firefox cache, and you can erase that by following the steps in this article: How to clear the cache of Firefox.

  Then open a private window, open network monitor in this tab and try to load the site and look at where to go applications.

  Any difference?

• stretch image in html background working if "never remember history" is selected

  I have a problem that did not exist in previous versions of mozilla. I found the problem after you have installed the latest version and after setting ever "remember history" of firefox

  The problem is related to the CSS code to stretch a background image to fit the screen. The background image does not stretch if "never remember history" is NOT defined. That part of the image is displayed and the rest of the background is black. I noticed first with my website www.missionbayhighalumni.com and subsequently found that the same problem also occurred with this site:

  I created several test cases with very simple code, all had the problem. The background image extend tests of code all work for other browsers and even firefox if "never remember history" is not selected. It also seems to be intermittent.

  Looking very good for me and all containers have a height: 100%, which is also OK.

  You can delete all data stored in Firefox with a specific area through "Forget this Site" in the context menu of a history entry ("" history > view history "or" view > sidebar > History "") or via the subject: permissions page.

  Using "Forget this Site" will delete all data stored in Firefox in this area as bookmarks, cookies, words of past, cache, history, and exceptions, so be careful and if you have a password or other data from that domain you don't want to lose then check that back up these data or make a comment.

  You can't recover from this "forget" unless you have a backup of the files involved.

• The tabs now automatically stretch to cover the width of the app; How can I change this?

  Legs used to be a specific width (estimated at 1/8th the width of the window). When I closed multiple tabs by clicking constantly on their "X" they would retain same width as the number has decreased, which allows me to complete the closure without having to move the mouse.

  Now, the tabs automatically stretch across the window. It kills the above behavior, and it's annoying. But I can't find a way to revert to the behavior.

• Aurora 30.0a2 toolbar and icons are stretched vertically and out of proportion, how do I solve this problem?

  In the updated changes Aurora 30.0a2, the UI displays the toolbar like stretched vertically. all of the icons seem to be of approximately (1 to 1.5 + /). It is no problem major and really just a minor Visual annoyance but still a bug.

  Only the toolbar is affected, all other regions keep their ratio of 1 to 1.

  I have a video clip imported into fcp x that has a change in audio synchronization.  start is a bit, but the end is better synchronisation.  The best way to stretch the video to adapt to the audio? Of course, I took off the audio.  I can't find any stretch or able to fill for the insertion of a white or placeholder.  45 minutes later the help search, internet forum and not go... and I have to do things!

  I used to be able to do this easy in iMovie a few years ago, by inserting a small clip (kept the same) of the video... stretch the clip to finalize. but I go to iMovie now and don't see it either... help!

  YYou don't really want to speed change the video. Speed, change the audio works better. Right-click on the item in the browser and select open in a timeline. Select the video or audio and use control + Option + R for custom Retiming. Set the speed you want. Duration will give you more accuracy.

  Of course you can do it. Under the Viewer is a slider that allows you to extend the timeline. Also, click settings and you will see a slider to change the size of the clamp.

  We used the Designjet for years and have several colors put in place to print gray and projected (252, 253, 254 and 25).  They have recently started with purple print.  I have run all diagnostics and calibrations and alignments available, and they are all good.  I looked at several troubleshooting sites and had no luck.  I use AutoCAD v 13.

  Assuming that the print heads are out of all the colors correctly, try this:

  The printer HP Designjet 500 and 800 series printers have a fix that was implemented in the version of firmware A.02.08 and higher. This hotfix provides additional media profiles that prevent blue to mauve color output change. This fix is only applicable to the series 500 and 800 and only if the printer has a version of firmware of A.02.08 or higher.   For some reason any auocad does not recognize the graphics card installed on the computer.
  I suspect it because very little memory is allocated for the graphics card.

  How can I change with the memory allocated for the graphics card, or perhaps, can someone show me where can I find a driver that supports autocad.

  As far as I know the graphics memory cannot be assigned manually.

• Toshiba 42WL863G: stretched 3D content using resolution 1920 x 800

  There is a problem with playback of content 3D SBS USB HD resolution 1920 x 800 (i.e. not 1920 x 1080).

  When activating 3D playbeck the image is stretched format full screen, and so everything is bigger / thinner that should be.

  Playing normal content (no 3D) resolution 1920 x 800 works correctly (black below / above).
  During the transition to 3D scratches disappear and the image is stretched vertically relative to the size of the screen.

  Playing the same content (via USB) on my BD Player (Philips BD8000) gives good results without streching.

  Will there be a future solution for this problem?

  I guess that this happens because the internal s TV media player goes full screen and full hd while playing 3D content.
  Since you're using the resolution of 1920 x 800 rare (Full HD must be 1920 x 1080) the content all seems tense.

  I think that to avoid this 'effect', you would need to play movies in HD (1024 x 720) 3D or FHD (1920 x 1020)

  Q: can you the proportions for a rectangular selection of cut-and - paste be unlocked?

  Formerly, in Snow Leopard 10.6.8 cut and paste a rectangular selection of an image in the preview has resulted a selection with eight points of click-and - drag: one at each corner and one on each side.  By clicking and dragging one of these licences stretching/tilt the value selected in any direction.

  Now, in the current version of El Capitan 10.11.3 preview, dragging these points only expands or collapses the selection and the aspect ratio is locked.  I have the impression I'm missing something very basic, but can't find any way to unlock the proportions for the selection in the drop-down menus or toolbars.

  A minor inconvenience, but boring, as the old function provided an extremely useful tool for making models quick and easy collage images that eventually became the graphic designs.
