  Could you just add the values for the smart list in the planning, once they are in place, you don't have to set them up again.

  I have a problem with the creations of edge I put in iBooks author as Html Widget: Html widget open on iPad, if I type with two fingers on the screen and I get in, the Widget stops and goes back to the page of the iBook. This is the default behavior.

  But what happens if I want to change this beheaviour?

  I tried these solutions:

  I tested and there is no problem at all, if your planning server is 32-bit, you just install the 32-bit Essbase client that can communicate with the 64-bit server.

  I have a model of a decal. I want to do a lot of these stickers, but with a different name on each thumbnail. Is it possible that I could feed a list to Illustrator and have it automatically generate decal files, with the text changed in each file a name on the list? This way I don't have to open the same model, 30, 40, 50 times and manually change the content of the text for each name I need.

  The function Variable Data should be the way forward for this type of workflow.

  This isn't something I do every day. Only done on a few jobs that should have the text to change in a few places with a static background. I do not see a need for this function a lot with my current workflow, looks like the configuration of the template file with variables takes longer than just create the files of 12 or 15 necessary. But if you must create 500 files from a single model and can determine what variables should change then this may be something you want to become good at.

  Because the analog inputs share a unique clock, you can have only one task running. You can have as many channels as you want in a single analog input task, however.

  Hello all, I searched this topic in this forum and have not had a previous post. I was wondering if this is possible:

  I would write a VI to the Max and settup automatically tasks the virtual channels instead of manually configure these in MAX.  So this VI can interact with MAX or write in its configuration file. I don't want to "create channels and tasks" in my main application VI. My app will pick up the channels or the MAX running tasks.

  I would like your advice on how to achieve this. Thank you!

  Does anyone know how to automate adding text from a RESUME or a worksheet in a chart? It would create hundreds of ads. I want to create the base with simple graphics image and then using batch processing insert the name of the company at a certain size and size on top of the image and the information of the company on the bottom. It would take a bit of time to manually create and if anyone has an example of script, or a link to an article I would really appreciate it. Thanks for the help!

The laptop can access the Internet OK and I can set up the network on the desktop by checking the use Windows to configure my wireless network settings option in the wireless network connection properties dialog box. I can not this box at the top on the A100. What should I do?

  I put t know if I understood you right, but you said that the laptop accessing the internet via WLan, but you cannot select the option use Windows to configure my network wireless on the laptop.

  So, how to connect to the WLan with the laptop? Have you used a utility 3rd to configure the WiFi network?

  As far as I know if you want to connect to the computer at the other PC via WLan so the computer-to-computer (ad hoc) option must be enabled!

  Sorry, I thought that the System Configuration OR > LabWindows/CVI function appeared when you install OR-DAQmx (after selecting "Custom"), but it doesn't.

  Here's what you need to do:

  • Configuration of system OR download: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2613/lang/en (or select from the Driver DVD NOR)
  • Select LabWindows/CVI:
    
  • nisyscfg.h must be installed in %ProgramFiles%\National Instruments\Shared\CVI\include.
  • nisyscfg.lib must be installed in %ProgramFiles%\National Instruments\Shared\CVI\ExtLib\msvc. Note that it need to link against user32.lib as well.

  We have an old server, we need to virtualize, and one thing that we need is a lot more storage. We have approximately 3.25 TB of available for this machine (250 GB for the OS and 3 to for the data drives), but I'm going in circles trying to find the best approach for this server. It is not possible to separate the data between several players because of the way the files are indexed. I have created a virtual machine with 2 TB of disk space (for the readers of OS and data) and added 1.25 TB of disk space I want to add on the data reader, but it does not seem possible to add 1.25 TB without destroying the data on the first disk of 2 TB. What is the best approach? Create a single disc for my virtual machine that is 250 GB and then add in two separate disks of 1.5 TB for storage and combine them within Windows?

  Unfortunately, the maximum size of virtual disk to a virtual computer is 2 TB - 512 bytes. In you case it should create two or three separate virtual disks and combine them (disks RAID 0 or concatenate). Another way (IMHO besser way) is to create several virtual drives and mount using NTFS mount points.

  An example:

  C:\Data is a folder on one of the virtual disks. Create a second virtual disks and create the C:\Data\Data2 folder. Rather than assign a drive letter for the newly created disk, you can mount it in the Database2 folder. This gives you the ability to move the largest files on separate virtual drives without lose you the structure of folders.
