Automatic backup for Photoshop CC location?

I don't know if this is possible or not, but it does not hurt to ask. I had a layered PSD file that I merged temporarily to another PSD file, I was working on that. By mistake I accidentally closed and saved the original PSD file merged; as a result, lose all my layers in the process. I wonder if there is a way to recover a 'recorded' version of this document or not?

I tried a few different methods that brought no results, such as the research in the automatic record of auto salvage under Photoshop CC/recovery C:/Users/username/Appdata/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe. I also tried searching the .tmp files with no luck.

I understand that I'm at a loss here, but I wonder if the latest version of this file is possible or not.

Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601)

System manufacturer: Dell Inc..

System model: XPS 8300

Processor: Intel (r) CPU Core i7-2600 3.40 GHz

Memory: 16 GB of RAM

I don't think that there is a way to recover lost data from Photoshop, except for the restoration of a backup or something like Time Machine instant or history files of Windows 8.  When you save/close your Photoshop document clears the data auto-sauvé.

Don't feel bad, I did the same mistake before.

One thing that I find invaluable is a system image backup every night.  This, more than the generation of Restore Points can facilitate the use of the "Previous Versions" feature of Windows 7.  Depending on where you saved the file PSD (crashed), there could be little hope...

  • Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder where you saved the crushed. PSD file.
  • Right click and choose Properties.
  • Click the previous Versions along the top.

All previous versions are included (this may take a few moments to show them)?  If so, you can find them, intended to replace the file with the recovered.  Make sure that you have saved a copy of the current version first, guess you need.

    automatic backup will take place of the control file and SPFILE. also whenever you have a backup statement in your RMAN script (e.g. database backup more archive), an automatic backup will be generated.

    To activate the automatic backup of control file:

    rman> CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP ON;

  • Behavior of abnormal (Tag Date and place of automatic backup) RMAN script

    Hi all

    I have 11 GR 1 material running on Sun SOLARIS 10.

    The parameter default RMAN for backup of control file is on DISK (format: u02/oracle/backup/rman/control/%F.ctl)

    I have the RMAN script following (L0.rman):
    Run {}
    allocate channels ch1 type SBT_TAPE parms 'ENV=(TDPO_OPTFILE=/opt/tivoli/tsm/client/oracle/bin64/tdpo.opt) ';
    tag backup "${CURRENT_DATETIME}" additional 0 filesperset 3 format 'DB_%T_%U.dbf' database more archivelog;
    output channel ch1.
    }
    host ' cp /oracle/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/db_1/network/admin/tnsnames.ora/u02/oracle/backup/rman/$(echo $CURRENT_DATETIME) /';

    This is called by the following (L0.sh) script:
    #! / bin/bash
    CURRENT_DATETIME = "$(date + 20 %y %m %d %H %M)»;) export CURRENT_DATETIME
    export ORACLE_SID = EDWH
    export ORACLE_HOME=/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/db_1
    mkdir/u02/oracle/backup/rman/$(echo $CURRENT_DATETIME)
    RMAN nocatalog target / cmdfile = L0.rman log = L0_EDWH_$ CURRENT_DATETIME.log

    The anomalies are as follows:

    1. the backupsets are created with a literal tag "${CURRENT_DATETIME}" instead of "201010051915" - why?
    FYI, the command 'host' at the bottom of L0.rman successfully copies the file in the right directory (/ u02/oracle/backup/rman/201010051915 /).

    2. after the backup finishes, the automatic backup for the control and spfile is taken on SBT_TAPE instead of DISK - why?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    1. well, this $CURRENT_DATETIME is variable shell, RMAN does not interpret it (she can't and doesn't have to.) HOST calls the external commands by spawning the shell in non-interactive mode and when placing the order for her, and since you have exported the variable is available to all processes having engineered and develop properly, then files are copied in the expected location. If you remove the '; CURRENT_DATETIME export"from your shell script, you will see files copied in/u02/oracle/backup rman / / because the variable will not be in the environment of the layed shell (it will be local to the script) and will expand to the empty string. You must pass $CURRENT_DATETIME to the RMAN script as a variable substitution so that the shell expands it before calling RMAN, like this:

    L0. RMAN: {code}
    Run {}
    allocate channels ch1 type SBT_TAPE parms 'ENV=(TDPO_OPTFILE=/opt/tivoli/tsm/client/oracle/bin64/tdpo.opt) ';
    backup format tag & 1 extra strength 0 filesperset 3 'DB_%T_%U.dbf' database archivelog;
    output channel ch1.
    }
    host ' cp /oracle/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/db_1/network/admin/tnsnames.ora/u02/oracle/backup/rman / $ CURRENT_DATETIME /';
    {code}
    L0.sh: {code}
    #! / bin/bash
    CURRENT_DATETIME = "$(date + 20 %y %m %d %H %M)»;) export CURRENT_DATETIME
    export ORACLE_SID = EDWH
    export ORACLE_HOME=/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/db_1
    mkdir/u02/oracle/backup/rman / $ CURRENT_DATETIME
    RMAN nocatalog target / cmdfile = L0.rman using $CURRENT_DATETIME log = L0_EDWH_$ CURRENT_DATETIME.log
    {code}

    Note the * & 1 * variable substitution in the RMAN script and * using * keyword in the RMAN command line.

    2. control file record is taken to the same media, that the last backup, this is normal. You can't "CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP ON the DISC" or something like that, you can only enable or disable it and specify format for various types of devices. Default device type does not play here, you are precisely the configured default device type substitution tape backup.

  • How can I set up automatic backup on iPhone 6s

    I bought a new iPhone 6s more yesterday. I had been to support my old iPhone 5 up to my computer. I thought that the new phone was set to automatic backups for iCloud, but I just got a notification indicating that the phone had not been saved for many months.

    How we configure it back to iCloud automatically at a certain time of day?

    You cannot set it for a certain time of the day. Once your backup is activated on the phone, backup it once daily when the unit is connected to power, a Wi - Fi connection and the screen is locked. Go to settings > iCloud and make sure active backup, and you can try a manual backup. • You can change the location of the automatic backup folder after creating a project on the first CC 2015?

    Trying to figure out from there is a way to change the location of the automatic backup folder after a project has already been created and the location of the automatic backup has been chosen. The reason for this is because we have an active work with a project that has been meet with an "unknown error" while he was trying to save on our server and also prevents form Auto-Save save projects. After you create a new project on the disk of the local computer and the Auto-Save in the same place, we decided later that we could like and the Auto-Save to live on two separate discs. I was wondering if there is a way to move the AutoSave folder without having to make a whole new project and copy everything on him. I searched through previous assignments, and even if current discussions focus on setting up an automatic backup location, I can't find all the topics related to the evolution of a current configuration.

    Thank you

    Stu-

    You just go to the project settings dialog box and change when the AutoSave file is defined.

    A couple of things about the Auto-save...

    -It waits a few seconds in action, so if you have a busy beaver editor constantly change things he could not AutoSave for quite a while...

    -automatic backup fact that both 'levels' it is wise to use Save-as to increment your project as you advance. So you can be sure that if you are on the last edit to the project AND... If corruption occurs, you have previous increments of work regardless of their deletion.

    Please check that your device is correctly connected to the wireless internet (settings > wifi) and is plugged into a power source, check also that you have enough space in iCloud for your back upward.

    You can check the space available in settings > iCloud > storage and the space needed for the next backup to the settings > iCloud > storage > managing storage > backups > appliance > Back Up Options > next backup size (wait for the spinning until the gear icon).

    Assuming that you are eligible for iCloud upward, you should try a forced first stop, hold down the buttons side in top and home together until the unit stops, then restart by pressing the side/up button.

    Then, try to connect the device to a new location (different WiFi network)

    If your backup continues to fail, you can try to disable the backup on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > BackUp), reboot the device and then turn on BackUp on new.

    If it does not help disable backup again, remove your existing back to the top of the settings > iCloud > storage > managing storage > backup > appliance (scroll down) > delete backup, restart the device and then turn on BackUp.

    If you are unable to make a return to the top, try to connect on iCloud (settings > iCloud (scroll down) > Sign Out (you will need to enter your password at this point), restart the device and sign in iCloud to settings > iCloud.)

    The next thing to try would be to restore your network settings. (Settings > General > reset > reset network settings)

    Reset your network settings will erase your cell phones and wireless network settings, including saved networks, passwords for wifi and VPN settings, that you can use. It will affect to the Internet but will not be an impact on telephone services because these settings are automatically configured by your carrier. It may take a few moments to enter again all your network settings, but it shouldn't cause you any major problems. If you are comfortable re - enter your network settings, you can try this step earlier in the troubleshooting procedure, i.e. after the forced shutdown suggested above.

    If this does not help, try to disable some elements for the back upward in a model to try to establish if your problem is caused by specific data on your device. You can do it with settings > iCloud > storage > managing storage > backup > this device > Back Up Options.

    If you are still not able to perform a backup from iCloud, you can try to restore your phone which you should do by making an iTunes backup via your computer and restore from that.

    Be able to go back to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you have access to a computer or rarely have access to one, however unless you need specifically to use iCloud to go back, you'll find a backup on iTunes much more convenient and possibly more reliable. However if you save up to iTunes be sure to encrypt the back upward if you want to keep your data on health and passwords etc.

    Hello

    The ASR (automated system recovery) tool must have a disk for restoration purposes. The best option, if you really want to use ASR, is a floppy of USB external as suggested by chrisamiller.

    You can also follow this procedure to create the ASR files without the floppy drive and then copy them to another location to create a floppy disk or, if you're lucky, your PC can boot from a USB key (I never tried to start ASR on a key, do not know if it will work or not, but it might be worth it) :

    "You can"trick"the ASR in the race without a floppy drive." When it gets to the point where he writes on the diskette to cancel it. He writes two files, which are used for recovery, in the Windows\Repair directory. After completing your ASR copy these two files (files asr.sif and asrpnp.sif) to a network location and then make the diskette also. Make sure you update your disk whenever you make a new ASR or your backup will be watered.

    Or, you can use a USB floppy drive. It is sometimes the only option, especially if you need to install SCSI or SATA drivers during the recovery. »

    a: when you start the backup, it may be in Wizard mode. Follow the link to the Advanced Mode.
    b. Backup tab.
    c. click on the box next to the drive you want to back up so that it has a blue box.
    d. backup media or file name: Browse.
    e. Select a new file name on your CD.
    f. start the backup.

  • Windows 7: Windows Fax and Scan - can't get it to automatic backup to a network

    We use Windows Fax and Scan (Version 6.1 Build 7601: Service Pack 1)-this is the version included with our client for 32-bit Windows 7 Enterprise OS

    I just installed a scanner in a sleep laboratory, scanner works perfectly. There are several sleep technicians that will connect to a computer with the scanner (so short of several user profiles) and patient scan RXs.  Problem is that sleep manager wants the scans to record automatically in a central location for any technology connects in their analyses will record in the same place as everyone else.

    The key is the AUTOMATIC backup.

    This is so the news of background - at the heart of the question... it seems a feature that offers Windows Fax and Scan does not work.

    If you go in fax and scan, there is an option in the tools of-> Scan routing.  If you read on the functionality of its supposed to save AUTOMATICALLY in the network shown, its not to do so.

    So I check the box 'Save in the network folder' (don't know the exact wording)

    (I use xxx because I don't want to publicly share real location) \\xxx\xxxxx\xxxxx\Neuromuscular.

    This is 100% valid and share name of work - used for years many people save to it... Windows Fax and Scan says "sharing network not valid."

    If someone said just use \\server\share

    OK I create a folder on my computer, we'll call it Computer1 and name sharefolder. I share and give "everyone" access read/write... sharing is \\Computer1\Sharefolder.

    Plug in Windows Fax and Scan - it don't be complaint that it is a bad sharing more. So I think that a lot!

    I scan a test page - this isn't automatic registration to \\computer1\sharefolder.  I can come here, but that defeats the whole point of the analysis of routing.

    Sleep lab will be scanning hundreds of slips of Rx by day, management won't allow lost time by manual movement of the images to the save location.

    Any help is greatly appreciated. Got to be honest I'm a little irritated right now because I think its Microsoft as announced a feature in one of their applications is not working.

    Thank you
