automatically connect to the internet

When turn on the computer I could click on a home page (excited) and be automatically connected to the net... now I have to click the net icon and select a connection and click on connect... its supposed to be AUTOMATICALLY configured to connect to the site... HELP PLEASE THANKS

Hello

If you use the configuration of a connection:

Click Start-> Internet Epxlorer, click the Tools menu above, click on Internet Options, Connections tab above, under "Dial-up and Virtual networks", select each entry and click on delete.

If it is wireless;

Click Start-> Control Panel-> network and sharing Center-> click on manage wireless networks.

Using the steps on the Web page, set the preference to the wireless network (first being your router)

Thanks for posting the question. I've surely you will help find a solution on the issue.

By default, Windows XP attempts to connect to networks without wires in the following order:

    1. Available networks that are in the list of network preferred (by order of registration)
    2. Preferred networks in the list proposed (by order of registration)
    3. Other networks according to selected advanced settings

    Hello

Yesterday, I finally brought the CC, but unfortunately I do not have

could use inside in all it's glory it runs very slowly.

THIS ISN'T DUE TO A PROBLEM OF MY PC.

When I ran Adobe Illustrator, it was extremely slow and laggy.

I suspect it's because of how the CC connects to the internet,

First of all, I would like to try to make the CC so I extremely slow internet

stop automatically connect to the internet, because it's more like problem,

I already turned off file synchronization.

I'm open to other troubleshooting, but this is probably my problem, HOWEVER

don't tell me trying to close other programs and as my PC is more than capable of

    running several things at once.

  • How to stop iPhone to convert to the iMessage automatically when connected to the Internet?

I have an iPhone, and some of my contacts are saved with iMessage and SMS. Whenever I start a conversation with a contact, it is a conversation of message text (green bubble), but as soon as I try to text the person while I'm connected to the internet, the conversation turns into an iMessage (blue bubble) conversation. I don't want it to do as sometimes the contact cannot be connected to the internet and therefore will not receive a my test up to connect to the Internet. How to make a conversation that began as a conversation of SMS RESTENT a SMS conversation, whereas if I don't want to start a conversation with the same contact iMessage, I manually converted an iMessage conversation?

    Thanks in advance guys.

You can do that unless you put temporarily out of your data connection (settings-> cellular) or disable iMessage himself.

But the good news is that you don't have to do either. In settings-> Messages, you will find an option called "send as SMS. If you turned it on and your receiver remains offline for a few minutes, the message will be sent as message text automatically.

In addition, if you see the iMessage has not been delivered, you can tap and hold the bubble and will give you the ability to send as message text as well.

  • After Microsoft automatically installs the updates, I am unable to connect to the Internet.

After that Windows update installs on my Vista Home Edition, I can't connect to the Internet. (My updates are automatically installed at 03:00)

If I come back before 03:00 there 12:A.M. as a restore point. I click Restore system to 12 hours and I am able to retrieve Internet Explorer 8.
However, updates are eliminated and the same updates are reinstalled at 03:00 the next day. Again not Internet Explorer. It lists the 11:00 the previous day as a Restore Point but then lists it as "undo the restore operation. Further, most number of updates is removed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    1. disable your antivirus, all modules of Norton (as applicable), a real-time protection provided by an anti-spyware application (with the exception of Windows Defender; includes the Tea Timer of Spybot, AVG AS guard.exe, SpySweeper guards, etc.), disable the third-party firewall AND THEN select Windows Firewall.

  • computer not automatically standby (formerly titled "impossible computer automatically sleep when it is connected to the internet with modem cable")

Hi, I noticed recently that my computer (Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005) is unable to sleep automatically when it is connected to the internet with a cable modem. Change the settings for my current power mode and try a different feeding regime (diagrams of Windows XP default power and power management, I created) only solves the problem for 2 days at most. I also tried to change the settings for the other power plans mentioned, and yet once again, the problem was only set for two days at the most. I also tried turning off my computer, restarting my computer, recording Powercfg /Restore Default policies in Run, saving sfc/scannow in Run, and again, I got the same result. Reset and power cycling the modem cable is not helped either. To help you better understand the problem, for example, if I had the date set for the screensaver set to 1 minute, the time for the monitor to turn off set to 2 minutes and time for your computer set to 3 minutes, the screen saver activate after 1 minute, the monitor turns off after 2 minutes, but the computer would not sleep mode after 3 minutes , even after an hour or more. I tried to check the Task Manager, and I have not noticed any process that would be interrupting the day before. However, I noticed that when I turned on the monitor by moving the mouse, even when the computer was unable to sleep and unplugged the ethernet cable from the cable modem and waited, the computer has entered standby as it should have.  I tried to find a solution for more than a week, contributions for this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. (Update: it seems that the problem is something else then my cable modem.)

    Hello

    Thank you for the update.

This behavior can occur because of possible conflicts of third-party software, which includes the third-party security software.

You can also temporarily disable third-party security software and firewalls installed on the system and check the issue.

If disabling the antivirus software solves the problem, you may need to configure the settings of the antivirus as a result program. Please contact the software vendor for assistance in this regard.

Note: be sure to enable the security software on the computer after checking the issue.

Note: When you perform a clean boot, you can activate services for the modem, network card and disable third-party services to check the issue.

Hope the helps of information. Let us know if you need help with Windows related issues. We will be happy to help you.

  • Unwanted automatic reactivation of the Mode standby mode when it is connected to the Internet

I have a relatively new home office Pavilion model p6140F, product number NP192AA, version number software 93NAv6PrA2.  Factory installed operating system is Windows Vista Edition Home Premium, 64-bit, Service Pack 2.  I am connected to the internet via a cable modem.  I made energy-saving settings for automatic sleep mode sleep.  Quite often the computer comes out of fashion "sleep" on its own.  What is strange to me, is that when this happens and I click the Start button at bottom left of the screen or any buttons on the Quick Launch bar, nothing happens on the first click.  Only on the second click the computer is what I normally wait until it gets when clicking on the Start button or the quick launch of the first time button.  I tried an experiment by disconnecting the internet cable from the computer modem and the computer behaves as I expect.  He remains in the mode "Eve" from one day to the next day when I unplugged the internet overnight.  It looks like something 'out there' on the internet is somehow take control of the computer, do not let it go in the mode 'sleep' and play with use and function of the 'Start' buttons and the quick launch area.  At the very least, it's embarrassing, if not malicious.  Is occurring with other users?  Wouldn't be some 'normal' functioning of monitoring by HP, Microsoft, providers of security software that I have permission, or is this behavior that should not be expected.  Thanks for any direction on the techniques of 'analysis' on mine could give clues at the origin of this strange behavior.

    Bad Board.  Marking as resolved.

    Thanks guys...

After changing some settings wireless - bandwidth to value 'Standard' and MTU change, its done!

  • Airport utility: green points on the AirPort Extreme & Internet; Mini Mac does not connect to the internet.

Airport utility shows green points on the AirPort Extreme and the Internet, but my my Mac mini does not connect to the internet. IPhones and 2 portable Windows connect very well, and see all the devices on the home network. The problem occurred after that PSI has swapped an ancient for a Comtrend CT5072T DSL modem. I tried to stop and things start back up as if the installation of the internet for the first time. No joy.

The airport connects using DHCP in Bridge Mode

    The router address is 192.168.80.1

    Address IPv4 is 192.168.80.2

DNS server is the same as the router, but grayed out

Mac Mini IPv4 Address is 192.168.80.3

    IPv6 automatically configures

Also updated the firmware of the airport; no change.

ISP guy was friendly but puzzled. He started at the top floor level Tech, so I do not know when I hear back.

    Any ideas to fix?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Network preferences may be damaged.

Open the Finder. In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder

Type or copy paste the following text:

    / Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

Click OK, and then move all files in the SystemConfiguration folder to the trash.

Restart your Mac. See if that makes a difference.

Your Mac will generate a new SystemConfiguration folder for you.

Then open AirPort Utility located in HD > Applications > Utilitiies

Make sure that both Internet and Extreme are green.

  • My Firefox don't surf the Internet, even though I am connected to the Internet.

Excuse me, but my Firefox 3.6 just randomly stopped working. It wont let me not browse the Internet more - it still gives me the error message is "Unable to connect", even if I am connected to the Internet. Earlier I open Safari and Internet Explorer 9 - both, in which, allow me to browse the Internet, and I had a complete connection. But, whenever I use Firefox now, it said 'unable to connect '. And whenever I type in a URL on it, Firefox gives me the SAME error message. I don't know what to do now. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and it does the same thing. So now I'm stuck with using Safari, when I really want to use my Firefox. Why would he do that?

Make sure that you do not appear to work offline in the file menu.

It is possible that your connection has been interrupted, even briefly, more so if using wireless. Make sure that Firefox is not set on "[v] work offline" in the file menu just above output.

By default, Firefox 3.5 and 3.6 will automatically use offline mode if there is no network connection. Under certain conditions, after the connection is restored, it can stay in offline mode, without the user's knowledge. Firefox 4 and newer prevents this behavior by default. To prevent this behavior in versions 3.5 and 3.6, add an entry to the topic: config options, as follows.

       * Type about:config in Location (address) bar
       * Right-click on the about:config page to open the right-click context menu and use "New > Boolean" to create a new Boolean preference. Name: network.manage-offline-status. Value: false
