  I have the design of textbooks and convert to ePub recomposable, broke up. These ePub files get formatted then can be used interchangeably on the printed text. A book that I am currently in conversion is a literature book where there are lines of text with the overall line numbers so that teachers can quickly refer to a specific section of the text.

  All the line breaks in the ID file are defined just by the edge of the text box. So the text box change sizes, all line breaks would also change. Isn't a problem until you need to keep these online breeze in recomposable text and add up the numbers in.

  
  What I'm looking for is a way to insert automatically the line breaks in these LONG sections of text in the right places. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do that?

  You can do without the use of background images to create corners in RADIUS. Just change .box to .box_1 (or get rid of all the css for .box and use the below css of course resetting .box rather than .box_1)

  in what format save you your file? If it's a jpg file, then the text is compressed and unfortunately PS is telling things as they are. Even if you could change the text before you save, after having been saved in jpg format, the text is merged and is no longer editable.

  A good solution is to save the files as PSD files, photoshop files. In this case, all layers are saved uncompressed and so your text will appear in its own layer in photoshop. All you need to do in this case to change it is the result of a three-step procedure

  (1) select the right layer

  (2) take the text tool in the tools bar

  (3) mark and change your text

  So the crucial question is: in what format you save your file?

  I tried to figure out how to get the type u to text in a text box automatically jump down to that underneath the text box area runs. I have some specific lines that I wish ppl in my PDF enter their information on. But I can't seem to manage get text, as executions of box of text box, to jump to the next line.

  That should be done with JavaScript in AcroForms. AcroForms don't have such a device built in. Dynamic form fields can be created by LiveCycle Designer, but it is an additional cost.

  Please check layers panel and put in place the menu item in the list, you can use the layers panel and move up or attempt to move the content.

  I'm trying to prepare a manuscript for self-publishing (what have I got myself?) and hit another wall.  After setting the margin of the 200 page manuscript (all 200 pages imported from MS Word doc as a text image area), I decided that I needed the smaller margins.  After that, I noticed that the words/text box has not been changed accordingly: the words overlap the new margins.  As a notice of InDesign/stupid, I can't understand a how do I get the text box to fit new, smaller margins of pages at the same time (and I believe there is a better way to manually edit each page individually).

  Advisor?  Any help appreciated.

Taking command or control and passage click on the margin to release your text block. Empty all your text in the image. It will automatically add pages as needed and adjustments as it will be a snap.   After you add the ILG, you can find the ILG element by textFlow.findLeaf (cursor location) as InlineGraphicElement and then change its attributes. Or you can just enjoy applyLeafFormat().

  FindLeaf is an important function for navigation in the TLF.

  I think that the simplest here would continue to use the text box, then get the caretIndex of the textfield in the OT:

  var idx:int = TextField (ta.getChildAt (2)) .caretIndex; TA is the id of your TextArea

  Also make sure you import flash.text.TextField.

  For text boxes (Type of path), you can select all, then click on one of them, the Align attribute > spacing distribution, adjustment of the desired distance between the boxes.
