In the past, I remember iTunes saying I was completely a lack of space, and the section "Applications" of this watch it took well more than 50% of it. Now I check, my maximum storage capacity is always up to 12 gigabytes, changed nothing in my phone whatsoever and it shows that Apps take almost all the space and that the Documents and data are taking the largest space. Does anyone know why this is? In addition, the bonus question: why Syncing takes place in storage? -Thank you

Hello Claudio,.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

To know specifically what is taking up space on your iPhone, I suggest that you use the instructions below.  As for your second question, every time that you synchronize the contents of your iPhone, then must take place to store.

Use your iOS device to check its storage

Tap Settings > general > storage & use iCloud > storage management.

You will see a list of your applications, and how much storage space each one uses. Tap on an application for more information on its use.

Depending on the application, you may be able to delete its content, or to remove the app and all of its contents. If your device is almost full, or you receive an alert of almost complete storage, remove some content less used.

Check your storage space on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Have a good.
