AVG Antivirus is blocking all my apps CC

The members of the CC, Hello

This mainly reported to a suitable common problems, but if you have any suggestions, my questions are at the end. thank you.

I have a new PC, Windows 10 / 64-bit installed. I installed all my applications required CC (Pr, Lr, Ps, Ae) and used very well on my fast machine (sorry, it's just a good feeling).

Later, I decided to install AVG Antivirus FREE.

After that, none of the creative Cloud applications where it is able to open.

  • Opening Premiere Pro, I get following message: "Premiere Pro could not find capable video modules. Please update your video display drivers and start over.
The starting image frozen loading ExporterQuicktimehost.prm
  • After effects was crashing just after opening
  • Lightroom and Photoshop could not open at all

There are a lot of topics about this problem on the forum. All related to the graphics card, BIOS questions... I tried the solution proposed, but no change in my problem.

After long reflection and tests autour, I uninstalled AVG and now I can work again! Problems have disappeared.

Someone at - it the same problem with AVG?

Which free antivirus would you recommend?

I did something wrong in the settings?

Thanks in advance for any help/info on your side.

  • How can I block or password protect all the apps?

My kids are crazy with the printer on my printer app, every day, I have someone has turned on a new application and printed a bunch of comic strips, puzzles, colouring etc.  How to password protect or block all the apps market in the first place?  I always want my printer to be hung on the network for the convenience of printing from any computer in the House, but the apps are driving me crazy and costing me a fortune in paper and ink.  Help, please.

    Hi smjoines007,

You can go into the built-in Web (EWS) of the printer server and disable the application under the Administrator setting.  To prevent your children to access the built-in Web server, you can also set a password for the built-in Web server.  Here are the instructions:

    a. Enter the IP address of the printer in a Web browser (for example. IE, FireFox or Chrome)

    b. Select the tab 'Settings' (ignore any warning of web server certificate and continue)

    c. Select "Administrator settings" in the side menu

    d. uncheck 'Apps' and apply

    e. Select "Password settings" on the side menu

    f. Select a password for EWS and apply

    I hope this helps.

  • Error - installation failed when trying to open AVG Antivirus and internet options will not open.

Original title: I need help to fix my 'internet options' in the control panel.

THiiS is a recent problem and I don't know what may have caused it. I tried to install a new virus program to see if the problem was a virus or spyware. I have read that sometimes AVG will cause problems. But in order to install the new antivirus, I have to remove AVG... cannot do! It says "installation failed" when I try to open the long counter. There is therefore no uninstall program. I need to open my internet options in the control panel to start the process of fixing things. but it does not open. I can't download all the programs from my browser. In the lower right hand corner of my IE on the left 'internet' is a white box with a red X.

UPDATE... I used my external CD/dvd drive and was able to copy the installation for firefox to a computer and put it on the shot, I have problems with. Hooray! success... Now, I have firefox and a navigation bar and was able to successfully download a program from the internet. Now, try to uninstall AVG... (how the hell uninstall something that says 'installation failed')

    Hi patriciashifflett,

What version of Internet Explorer you have on your computer?

Due to Internet Explorer, you can follow this link & check if the problem persists.

Internet Explorer does not start or stops responding

To remove AVG Anti-virus, you can download and run AVG remover which eliminate all parts of your installation of AVG on your computer, including the registry, system files, user files, etc.

You can also download & install Microsoft Security Essentials on your machine.

    Hope the helps of information.
Please post back and we do know.

I have the same problem after upgrading to Win 7 Home Premium to Windows 8 Pro and choosing to keep "settings Windows, your applications and personal files.

The first thing I notice is that the Windows store crashes. I later found out pretty well other apps down thus: mail, calendar, Bing, people, Photos, Skydrive, trip, email, finance, Sports, games, camera, weather, news, music, and video.

Method 2 does not work for me since the app Store crashes. With respect to method 1, the resolution of the problems crashed too.

    Help, please.

  • Site blocker blocked all websites on the internet

Literally. I downloaded an add-on for Firefox called SiteBlocker and when I went to block a site it blocked all alone accessible Internet site (including the homepage and all search engines). So when I open it, just to give me a blank page and tells me that the site has been blocked. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the browser, but that did nothing. I had to use Microsoft Edge of this post. Also, I don't know how to remove the add-on because I can't even him.

You can start Firefox in Safe Mode where all extensions are disabled and remove it. At least, I hope that you can remove to it installed outside, you may have to use the control panel.

Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
    • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

    and OK reboot.

Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

Then you should be able to access the Add-ons page and remove this thing.

To return to normal, exit Firefox and start it without hold the SHIFT key.

    Success?

  • How can I get Thunderbird to stop blocking all my messages... I have to go into options and accept each

I would like to know where to change this setting.

As Thunderbird is not blocking e-mails, I'm sure you don't want to block all my messages.

Maybe you say Thunderbird is blocking remote content which it pays to safe guard your security and your privacy, for very obvious reasons.

In this case, you would see a message "to protect your privacy, Thunderbird has blocked a remote content in this message.
The 'options' button gives you a few options.
    You can choose to:

allow the remote content for that message only

or always allow for that particular e-mail address.

You can also disable remote content blocking, although this is not recommended - the risk is your take. Please, do not assume the e-mail analysis will cover you.

    Tools > Options > privacy
    or
Menu icon > Options > Options > privacy

    • "Content of mail slot
    • Select: "allow remote content in messages.
    • Click OK

Please read this before you select the option to turn off - you must be clear about what he does.

  • Firefox blocks all https sites-, I can not even my Google mail!

Firefox blocks all https sites, I can not even my Google mail - there is no option to bypass this blocking!

Or, I can simply go to http://google.mail.com... I don't see ANYTHING in the settings to disregard certificates

Firefox has gone downhill the way in many ways...

    Tittiger said

I respectfully disagree with you about Firefox...

The code of Firefox is so bad that I only use it as a last resort. Constantly, it crashes and has done this on several PCs in 2 or 3 years.

In any case thanks for the suggestions, but it turned out malware that Panda deleted.

If Firefox is a 'last resort', why you use it to check your emails? Do you use Google Chrome to access Google mail? I've never had problems with Firefox, then maybe I'm just lucky.

Added the: Chrome and IE are coded by companies funded by programmers. Firefox is a program open source funded through donations to not-for-profit, which means that's what users are doing. If the 'bad code' is probably just different, not bad.

                                      HELP!!!

Firefox could have effected a reset. It might suggest that you when it feels slow at startup, or if there is a major problem during an update, it could do it automatically. If this theory is correct, you should find a folder on your desktop named the old Firefox data with a copy of your old folder settings in there. You will find something like that?

If so, of the possible ways of recovery are described in this thread: I reset firefox and now some of my add on disappeared and when I try to reinstall them, said she already exists, but I'm not!

    Who help me?
