B5400 Intel HD 4600 Graphics questions.

About 2 months ago, my graphics began to act, decide randomly crash and graphic access block application. It is said expressly:

"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered.
"Intel HD Graphics display driver drivers for Windows (r) stopped responding and has successfully recovered".

everything twice in quick succession followed by another message:

"The request has been blocked access to the graphics hardware.
.Exe application has been blocked from access to the graphics hardware.

This problem several video games and media players. I tried to download the updated drivers, but he seems to have made things worse with accidents that occur much more frequently even does not happen when I watch the video on a Media Player (initially it does that games and 3D applications). However, the Lenovo solution center software says that everything goes well on his tests.

With the help of a laptop Lenovo B5400, Intel HD 4600 graphics card.

I just wanted to post an update, incase someone gets the same question. Finally, it was indeed a problem Windows 10, although I have no idea what exactly about it was the issue, not was not pilot since resettlement did not help (even tried several versions). Formatting and installation of Win8.1 fixed the problem, have not had any problems for 5 days and same test of stress on the GPU without problem.

    Hello

For about 3 weeks and a few updates to the Windows and Nvidia driver in may 2015, it seems that the Nvidia graphic card is no longer used by the Dell PC XPS 2720.

I tried to just reinstall the drivers of two first from the website of dell and alternately of each Web site from intel and Nvidia.

The two cards are included in the device (Device Manager) Manager, but each time, the graphics card intel HD is the only graphics cards that really works and used by the PC for an application or a game.

I can check with software such as speed of the fan or CPUID, CPUID HW Monitor.

Similarly, if I forced systematically into the control panel NVIDIA, the Nvidia card for the global or individual parameter, the Nvidia card is not used.

Normally the Nvidia should be better for 3D application or games.

Comments, solutions or justifications will be very appreciated.

    Thank you and best regards,

PS: I have read all the previous posts on the subject and I know that the two graphics cards usually work together and have been in the past subject to a number of positions or problems related to their 'recognition' by the PC. I have Windows 8.1.

    Hello

Thanks for sharing the solution. If you have questions in the future to write us, we will be happy to help you.

  • HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC: Intel HD 4600 graphics driver has stopped responding and recovered after upgrade Windows 10 1511

16/11/2015 Microsoft installed automatically 'upgrade of 1511' on my Windows laptop, 10.

(This laptop has been previously successfully upgraded to window 8.1 for Windows 10 in August.)

After the upgrade of 1511, I started to receive the following error while playing at Microsoft games:

"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered - Display driver Intel HD Graphics driver for Windows 8 (R) stopped responding and has recovered."

According to Device Manager, installed upgrading driver 10.18.15.4256 dated dated 15/07/2015.  I did a restore to 10.18.15.4248 as dated 29/06/2015.  This has not solved the problem.

I checked HP Support Assistant and apply labeled sp72370 10.18.15.4248 Rev c dated 05/08/2015.  This has not solved the problem.

I am committed service HP Smart friend and they are reapplied 10.18.15.4248 via Device Manager web search pilot.  It has installed Intel Driver Update Utility 2.2, but the newer driver has not been installed because of "driver installed by manfacturer (HP).

HP support person recommended restore new to restore point before Microsoft «upgrade» 1511   I was not comfortable doing so, as 'upgrade' was an important update from Microsoft by using the same process as the initial migration of Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.  The customer can no longer control the timing of updates and upgrades are cumulative - is no longer able to choose specific updates.

For now I'm wrong to live with this error condition, as seems to have an impact on games and not other normal operations.  My laptop there one provided by HP NVIDIA Geforce GT 740 M, which is Windows compliant 10 and seems to operate normally.  Some of my apps choose the Intel driver, and others choose the NVIDIA driver.  I don't know how applications choose which one to use.

What a problem like this to be resolved when Microsoft control completely the update mechanism and HP doesn't seem to update drivers available via the HP Support on a basis common?

I've disabled the Intel HD graphics driver and used the NVIDIA graphics driver for the game.  No problem.

Disabling the driver Intel resulted in the reving fan at a higher speed intermittently.

Support for HP Smart friend assured me that the behavior of higher fan speed would not result in problems with premature failure on the road.  You agree?

They said that my choice was to keep the disabled Intel HD graphics driver and use the NVIDIA only, or living the problem until HP one releases pilot newest Intel - it affects only game, all other functions seem normal.

  • Dedicated Intel HD 4600 GPU vs... Failed to get AE to use the dedicated!

Running in this issue for all third-party plugins and I do not know what to do. I have a GTX 765 M in my laptop with a Core i7 CPU running Intel HD 4600 Graphics on it. I have nothing allows plugins to use the GTX and some outright crash using the integrated graphics card. Is there a way to get around this, or my next PC is an AMD processor?

Is there any other information that would be useful to diagnose the problem?

More simple than that, buried in the nVidia control center was an option to choose which programs use the iGPU against the dGPU. A dial-up during an update system (Win8.1) and was not aware he had the option to select. Solved the problem immediately and I have my speed back.

  • Wanted computer laptop 15-k163cl: graphics driver Intel HD 4600 stopped responding and recovered

Receive this error on my computer laptop 15-k163cl of jealousy when you play some Flash games.  According to Microsoft, I need to update / re install the latest drivers to my Intel HD 4600.  Checked Assistant support and microsoft update and nothing shows.

Went on the web at hp.com support page and looked at all the drivers for my laptop.  It shows the sp72044.exe as the only driver for the graphics card intel HD.  The pilot goes out with an error of "this computer does not meet the required specifications for this driver."  When I look at the readme.rtf file in the file sp72044.exe, it is said that this driver is only for Intel HD 5500 graphics.  Looking at the log file c:\Intel\Logs\IntelGFX.log shows essentially the same thing that it is only for the 5500 and abandons the installation when it is not the 4600.

So obviously you have the drivers not listed for this computer.  A person at HP can give me the right drivers?  Should I just manually install the latest Intel drivers for the 4600?  These drivers are reported to correct arrested messages that responded to the questionnaire.  When can we expect an update HP driver of brand?

Try the pilot direct graphic Beta of Intel. Your graphics solution is actually SoC (System on a chip) and not a graphics card.

When I disable the Intel(r) HD Graphics 4600 of Device Manager, it will be quickly again, but then I don't have access to my graphics card. There is no update available for her. What should I do?

The computer was normal 20 days ago and the right click was fast. I guess windows has had some updates for windows 8.1 graphics cards is not compatible with it. I don't want to restore my computer, I have a lot of things I do not have the time to reistall them again. I have McAfee antivirus sysmtem mechanical using the software and all updates, but nothing can be detected. How can I solve my problem?

    Hello @biomed-engineer,.

I understand that you experience a delay when you right-click and it worked correctly about 3 weeks ago. Now, you said that you do not want to do a restore, but I think that you involved in RECOVERY and RESTORATION. If you use the HP Support document: use Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8) , it will guide you through a system restore that will preserve your personal data, and the only thing that will be lost is any applications installed after the day you choose or the settings that have been changed since then. If you choose a date means 1 month return you'll only loose applications or settings have been installed or changed during the month, everything will remain the same.

I think that's what you need to do to fix your problem and recommend that you follow the steps in the document I have provided.

I hope this helps. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Driver Intel Corp update for Intel(r) HD Graphics 4600... get code error 80070103

It is impossible to install this update from the Windows Update driver:

I haventel Corp. driver update for Intel(r) HD Graphics 4600

Several times... I tried to install the update above... still not able to solve.

On several occasions... the error code 80070103.

I can install other updates without any problem.

    My OS is Windows7

My limited knowledge of PC tech has not found a solution to this problem with the specific Windows Update.

Any help would be most appreciated.

You don't need this update.  You need to right-click on it and select "hide."

I first noticed several weeks ago.  At one point, Microsoft has designated this 'Important' update, which caused Windows Update try to install it automatically on many systems.  Apparently, however, it was a bad day, a driver for the wrong version of Windows, or had something wrong with her.

    See the discussion here--> https://communities.intel.com/thread/105036

Yes, Yes, Yes; It is clear that Intel has released an update that wasn't for Windows 10 but Windows Update seems to be trying to install it for any version of Windows. The only resolution (except Microsoft remove this driver download scripts) is going to be to hide this update. If I were you, I would stick with the versions that are posted on the Intel site.

I think remember that ultimately the update has been reclassified as "Optional," where the driver updates belong.

If you really want to update the driver for your Intel graphics card, visit the Intel site.

  • Questions on Intel(r) HD Graphics Family

    Hello.

I use a "HP Pavilion dm4 Notebook PC" with the processor "Intel (r) Core i5 - 2450 M CPU @ 2.50 GHz" with 6gig RAM. The number of product is "A6X73UA #ABA" and the serial number is "[Personal Information deleted]". The laptop runs Windows 7 64-bit.

I have a problem with is the graphics card driver. Everywhere I look, device management, automatic detection of Catalyst Control Center, system information, it always says that I use the "Intel(r) HD Graphics Family. I need to know a few things related to the graphics driver.

    1. I think that it is not, but is this laptop fixed or dynamic graphic card settings?

    2. I can't find a driver 'Intel(r) HD Graphics Family' on the Intel Web site driver list and it is barely mentioned on the internet in general. I guess that's a custom driver installation? If yes what is actually being used? I need to download a generic/dedicated driver and switch between the integrated and the credits if that makes sense. Will this work without causing compatibility issues? I have to completely uninstall the HD family?

    3. this graphic card driver has not been updated for a long, long, long time. Download a generic/different driver fix this?

I'm not very tech heavy but can understand with enough internet things to research and dig. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place?

    1. I think that it is not, but is this laptop fixed or dynamic graphic card settings? Depends on the configuration that you have purchased. Some have switchable graphics which is the lower end configurations.

    2. I can't find a driver 'Intel(r) HD Graphics Family' on the Intel Web site driver list and it is barely mentioned on the internet in general. I guess that's a custom driver installation? Will this work without causing compatibility issues? I have to completely uninstall the HD family? Depends on the configuration of your laptop. Have you bought the laptop configured with switchable graphics. If you did, then only install the driver HP AMD graphics software package. It will install the AMD and Intel graphics drivers.  The first installation will be required to remove all the drivers and then a second facility will be required to install all the drivers and the Catalyst Control Center correctly. Do not install the Intel HD graphics software package separately. If you do it will "break" the installation of the graphics driver AMD.

    3. this graphic card driver has not been updated for a long, long, long time. Download a generic/different driver fix this? No

I'm not very tech heavy but can understand with enough internet things to research and dig. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place? Use the HP Support Assistant in the screen and Audio and video, video section to see the configuration of your laptop. The following image is of my current loan product HP HP Envy17-3002ea, which has a switchable graphics.

  • Intel(r) HD Graphics Family does not not with Windows 10 (Acer Aspire E5-571)

So I tried to solve this problem for a long time, but I was unable to find an update for windows version 10 of the Intel® hd graphics family graphics or graphics card driver, I tried manually install the graphics driver files but could not solve this problem, but I don't think that I did it correctly so if any help is given , for me, could you suggest (good) drivers for me to download. Thank you a lot in return.

I guess you have Intel HD4400 graphics.  The method driver and installation link above will work.

The method of manual installation replacing (the disk method) is located in screemshot below.

  • Intel(r) HD Graphics Family Driver does not not for Aspire S7-392 in Windows 10

    Hello

I have improved my Aspire S7 - 392 to Windows 10 a few weeks ago, and while most things seem to work properly, the driver for the graphics card Intel (R) HD Graphics Family had the yellow exclamation of 'something is wrong' next to him since. Now, I am unable to connect my laptop on the external monitor that I use for work (as nothing happens when I do), and graphics performance are visibly slowed (point of use) when playing games still fairly weak demand.

Which would seem to indicate that there is a pretty big problem with drivers. I spent literally 10 hours on the phone with Microsoft Client service tries to understand the question, but all they could tell me after a fairly intensive survey was that they knew not what it was and wait for updates from Acer or Intel driver.

I have the latest driver on the Acer support site installed (although it doesn't seem to be one specifically for Windows 10) and I rolled back and updated and tried several versions of the drivers from there, but all seem to have the same problem.

I also downloaded Windows 10 Intel drivers that are supposed to be specially for my processor and graphics configuration, but when I try to install, it says that my computer does not meet the requirements (which is quite confusing when I have the exact material, so that the driver is designed).

I searched these forums for support for other users of the S7 Aspire with similar problems and for people with features of Intel(r) HD Graphics Family have similar problems, but can't seem to find anything.

My apologies if this has actually been discussed elsewhere, but no help at all with this issue would be appreciated. Windows 10 has been out for a while now, so I was hoping that a solution had been found to do this, since there must be a certain S7 users out there.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any ideas/advice,.

    Oli

    1. download the "Intel Driver Update" utility

    2. go manage the devices and uninstall/remove your Intel graphics driver

    3. run the Intel driver update utility.

Your current graphics driver is a custom OEM Acer/Intel graphics driver.  This is why it will not let you install.  If the generic driver update utility that installs does not quite work right, then you go back to the driver that is located on the site of the Acers.

If don't want to use the Intel utility driver update, then you will need to download the zip file of the driver instead of the driver .exe... and then use the disk method 'have' to install it. It is probably easier to use only the update of the Intel driver utility.
