  Firefox on Windows is now after display, scaling options that can make the biggest text on screens at high resolution.

  Firefox window is sometimes "off screen" somehow. Often, you can force it to appear on the screen by right clicking on the thumbnail image just above the taskbar and choose expand. Does it work?

  I think I found the problem, now that you pointed out where I should be looking. I found the original HTML code, and in most cases, the references are strictly local. But in the case of problem, the link contains the name of the file, what Firefox interprets as an application to point to the original file on the server rather than the local copy.   If you have DWCC2015, you can change to edit > Preferences > coloring Code and either choose a new theme (RecoGnEyes is the background dark code by default) or you can change it to what you want in the background field by default.

  2014 CC had no theme options, but you can change the background color in the same place.

  I think that some of the previous versions also had the option, but I don't have them on my machine to check.

  Have you tried the Firefox zoom feature? This initiative will increase the size of the web pages.

  • To make things bigger, press Ctrl and + at the same time.
  • To make things smaller, press Ctrl and - at the same time.

• I lost the taskbar when I go to the web page... why?

  The taskbar are correct on the desktop, but when I activate firefox and enter the web page, the task bar disappeared. Everything on the page is ok except for the missing task bar which is usually at the bottom of the screen. May work ok places, but don't miss the advantage of being able to move pages, activate, minimize, etc..

  Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Ctrl + Shift + F).
  
  If you are in full screen view then hover over with the mouse upward to make the bar appear Navigation and tab bar.
  
  You can click the maximize button in the upper right to leave the mode full screen or empty space of a right-click on a toolbar and use "exit full screen" or press F11.
