  If I understand well, left a voice message, but you do not see what it listed in your Visual Voicemail. Looks like this is only the case with a voicemail. Are you able to see other new voice messages coming? I recommend you to read this article, it may be able to help solve the problem.

  I see that your Visual Voicemail is not available, and you can not call voicemail. Visual Voicemail is a novelty that I use a lot. So, I understand wanting to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

  See the Visual on your iPhone voicemailarticle and make sure that Visual Voicemail is set up, and that your carrier supports this feature, specifically these sections:
  
  

  Set up Visual Voicemail

  If your provider supports visual voicemail, you can configure it:

  1. Tap the phone app, tap the voicemail tab.
  2. Press Set until now.
     
  3. Create a voicemail password, then tap done.
  4. Enter your new password to confirm it, and then tap done.
  5. Select Custom or default. If you choose custom, you can record a new greeting.
     
  6. Tap done.

  Transfer your existing voicemail:

  1. Tap the phone app, tap the voicemail tab.
  2. Press Set until now.
  3. Enter your password, * and then tap done.

  Press and hold home/sleep set button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the boot device upward.

  I don't know if anyone can help... I have an iPhone 5, which does not connect to voicemail when be groggy, he just keep sound until a voice message says the number you are calling is not available.  My phon carrier I ee and they say there is nothing out there, I'm set up for voicemail.   As to listen to voice messages via the carrier's own analog servers, it cannot be marked as not read times read.
