Background color changes when you save a theme

Just did a new install of Windows 7 Home Premium and has found that, when I save a theme, the background color changes from black (what it was worth) to white. Another thing to note is that when I save the generic theme "Custom Theme" (meaning an unsaved theme) remains, and the background color in the registered theme is changed and does not change when I click on the "custom theme". This is a new installation, so the only software that has been installed is video drivers, network cards drivers, the drivers of the antivirus and sounds. I've used the System File Checker, and he found no problem.

Hello

I recommend that you follow the steps from the link below and check if it helps.

    Hello

    I develop an application that has a sign with a black background and green or red numbers. I have added digital controls and set the text color and text background color attributes accordinglingy. I put the control digital hot or validate command mode and display the arrows of inc/dec, because I want to incr/Decr numbers.

    The problem is that when I run the app and I hit arrows inc/dec, then the colors inside the scope of digital control become reversed: black background becomes white and cyan green number. I created an assosicated callback with digital control and tried to force the text color and the background, in the EVENT_VAL_CHANGED section, by using the SetCtrlAttrribute() function, but nothing helped. Also added ProcessDrawEvents did not help.

    When I mouse click again outside the digital command, then it returns to its original colours (green, black text background).

  • Photosmart 7150: Printer prints correct colors of the web; printing of background colors incorrect when you print the document

    I have a Dell desktop computer, using Windows 7 with a HP Photosmart 7150 (I know this is an older model, but I have no reason to spend).

    When you print to the web, the colors are printed similar to what we see on the screen.  When I try to print a document that includes a background with color, the color prints differently.   The document I'm working on that requires a background textured printing on glossy photo paper.  When the document is formatted with a brownish background, the background is printed bright green.  When the document is formatted with a blue background lighting, the background is printed a bright torquoise.

    I worked with the printer settings changing the quick project to the best print quality. increases the magenta color, but nothing seems to work.  The ink cartridge is fairly recent. I hate wasting more paper and ink.

    Any suggestions? Thank you!

    Thank you for taking the time to try to help solve the problem of color with my printer.  I solved the problem: I had a PHOTO, #58 print cartridge in the printer.  When I changed for the black cartridge, #56, colors came out as it should.

    Thanks again!

  • Colors changing when you export files HAVE in InDesign

    Hello

    Since the upgrade of CS6 CC last year, I think my profiles color or something are put in place bad between CS programs. When I'm working on a file in Illustrator (RGB) and then place it in indesign, as soon as I export the PDF the colors change. For example, a series of gray tones will be released as blue and bright orange. I'm not clued up with the settings of all programs and the inner workings, but I've never had this problem before, I've never had to change all the color settings, so think, need a new default setting I don't know.

    I understand there are a many settings that could do that. I export the PDF RGB file too, but I can't see a likely switch to CMYK. Is anyway to reset all the settings back by default so that I can at least try and get the settings I usually use with CS6.

    Don't know what to do... any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance

    Your Illustrator color settings is a problem. Choose 2 North America prepress of the parameters, which will assign sRGB to new documents and allow you to assign a profile to the existing docs. You can also consider to synchronize all your Adobe applications through the bridge Edit > color settings.

    As test try to synchronize your color for North American prepress settings, create a new document, place the file I and export with the output parameters in my first post.

  • Why foreground/background colors change when I switch to quick mask? I can't stop this change?

    I click on------, and the foreground/background colors switch. Why? How can I control this behavior of Photoshop?

    It would be simpler for my workflow of Photoshop that I knew what I was using the color.

    Hello

    In quick mask mode Photoshop automatically default gray scale, with a background of black and white, background color color mode. When you use a painting or the tool in quick mask editing mode, keep these principles in mind:

    • With black paint adds to the mask (the Red overlay) and decreases the selected area.
    • Painting with white clears the mask (the Red overlay) and increases the selected area.
    • Gray paint partially added to the mask.

  • Change of values and change when you save a picture BW

    Hello community and first of all Merry Christmas to whom it may apply

    I am trying to solve this problem by doing my own research, but I work against the clock and I found no specific useful information so far.

    I'm sure he can have to do with the profile settings, but frankly, I'm a little lost.

    Here it goes:

    • I have these black and white photos I shot, which I first edited in Lightroom, (RAW images. CR2) and then decide to take them to Photoshop for some finishing touches so I use "Edit in...» Function of Photoshop"in Lightroom.

    • At the opening in Ps, I get the usual profile of the conversion options (my Lr settings are ProPhotoRGB) so I decide to convert the photo of my Ps work space: Adobe RGB (1998).

    • So far so good, on the surface, like comparing my pic between Lr and PS, virtually identical.

    • I have to put it back end in Mode files: grayscale /. Hair, so when trying to save with (and frankly, any other) extension, the problems start: final result varies quite considerably in values and working space Ps rendering tones (and of course, the 'original' Lr edited pic)

    I tried a lot of combinations (and the box of grain dot checked and unchecked in the file save dialog box) color profiles and settings, but I'm going crazy here...

    Any suspicion or any brief reference where I can learn at this address will be more than welcome. Time is NOT on my side (talk about season Hollidays ha!)

    Many thanks and best wishes to all!

    A simplified workflow:

    Adjust the RAW image and save as TIFF 16bitperchannel (PCBs) in AdobeRGB.

    Modify as necessary in Photoshop.

    Convert to TIFF 8bpc and save as a TIFF.

    Convert grayscale with GrayGamma = 2.2 and save as a TIFF.

    Most likely the error is the result of the settings of tones "confused."

    In fact the tones is based on a (TRC) tone reproduction curve.

    GrayGamma = 2.2 uses the same TRC as AdobeRGB.

    Therefore work in Photoshop, with always embedded in profiles,

    all the parameters are properly taken into account. But other programs are subject to errors

    even if gray profiles are incorporated.

    In short: the workflow suggested reduced the risk of confusion.

  • Size of the strange changes when you save the file to the jpeg format

    Hi all!

    I have a small question (I think!). I have some images I save as jpeg files. So, I noted today that alone (it worked fine yesterday) when I go to save the file on the web, the size of the image changes of 400 high px to 430 px high. I select nothing do each file change like that. There is a white box at the top of the image (which is not well 4 my image). When I reduce the size of the jpeg - it reduces the image (so the rest of the white area).

    Does anyone have a suggestion? What happened with more than one image.

    Thanks 4 your help, Marty

    If you have to convert to jpg images, use photoshop.

    If white is on top is 30 pixels, then you have a point in your document or something that is not visible, but adds the frame enclosing the image. Make a command Y in illustrator to see if something is there. Also, if you place images in Illustrator, your original image can have a clipping path or something that adds to your bounding box.

    Take a look at your foreground and background colors.  When you add to the canvas using the crop tool, filled it with the background color.

  • Change the background color of the banner in the theme of the APEX 25

    Hi guys,.

    I'm changing the background color of the banner in the theme of the APEX 25 (in white).

    Oracle.apex.com: Application Express 4.2.5.00.08

    Theme/UI: 25. Reactive blue

    Page template: A level Tabs - no side bar

    Using Internet Explorer 8
    I have created a sample in oracle.apex.com too, see below for credentials

    What I've done so far:

    1. create a file named orange.css with a single line:

    hgroup {background: white ;}}

    Downloaded this css file via:

    Components shared = > Cascading Style sheets

    2 then reference this CSS via the shared components = > templates = > edit the template Page = > a level Tabs - No. Sidebar = > definition = > header

    Added this line before the < / head > tag:

    < link rel = "stylesheet" href = "" #WORKSPACE_IMAGES #orange.css "type =" text/css">"

    Then changed:

    < h1 > < a href = "" #HOME_LINK # "id ="uLogo"> #LOGO # < /a > < / h1 >"

    VOX

    < hgroup > < a href = "" #HOME_LINK # "id ="uLogo"> #LOGO # < /a > < / hgroup >"

    Although the CSS works well, I have two questions:

    1. the sides of the banner are blue instead of white

    2. the disconnect next to the user name button is hidden and only appears when you browse on

    Does anyone know how to solve these problems?

    Here is a link with the model of the application:

    You should not use hgroup here. Leave that as a h1 element.

    • hgrouphas been removed from the W3C HTML specification.
    • With the help of hgroup of this way is non-compliant because it does not contain at least one child h1-h6 element.

    Although the CSS works well, I have two questions:

    1. the sides of the banner are blue instead of white

    The original blue background of the theme is actually applied to the containing header element, not the h1 (or hgroup in your example), it is the rule that must be overridden:

    header#uHeader {
      background: #fff;
    }

    2. the disconnect next to the user name button is hidden and only appears when you browse on

    The link to logout of the theme is white to contrast with the original blue background. What should be replaced by a dark to be visible on the new white foreground color, and a contrasting hover appearance applied:

    div.userBlock a:link,
    div.userBlock a:visited {
      color: #004F7C;
    }
    div.userBlock a:hover {
      background-color: #b6ceed;
      color: #fff;
    }

  • Color labels Mac (Yosemite) folder deleted when you save an Illustrator CC 2014 file. What is happening with this?

    I just got my new operational computer.

    Mac Pro - Yosemite 10.10.3

    Illustrator CC 2014_18.1.1

    This seems a bit odd.

    I created a file Illustrator CC.

    I wrote then that file with a color. (Mac > file > Tag)

    When I recorded this Illustrator file, the color tag is removed.

    What is happening with this?

    I never had this problem in the past with previous Illustrator and other Mac OS versions.

    I tested other applications.

    This ONLY happens when you save files Illustrator CC 2014.

  • Photoshop CC is Desaturate photos when you save in jpeg format

    Hello

    I have a small problem here with photoshop CC, it has only begun to have occurred recently.

    I work with Raw files, using the camera raw on photoshop sick CC filter. Edit the file and it will come out as I want in photoshop. If I save it as a .psd file no problem, photography

    retains its color. However, if I save it in jpeg format, the colors of the photos become desaturated.

    as far as I can see its a problem with saving the file, such as the photo seems fine in photoshop when your finished collage, but when you save and reopen, the colors were reversed just a little.

    The only solution I found to this day because it is to complete the photo in camera raw, let it reopen in PS, copy the entire photo (select all, ctrl + C), start a new spreadsheet (think that's what they say, no upward with my PS jargon, basically to press ctrl + n) and

    Set the color depth of 16 bit (its default 8 bits). This will also change the Adobe RGB color profile to "working RBG: sRGB" for the new worksheet. When I paste my picture in there (ctrl + v) and save the file as a jpeg, it

    keep the color as he went out the raw from the camera filter.

    How can I fix it so I cannot use the workaround every time?

    I got a quick shot through the settings/preferences, but did not spot something that I'm not sure what I'm looking for.

    any thoughts?

    I would point out that it worked very well for me until the end of last week, I changed a few settings, but I have no idea what.

    Mick9129 wrote:

    To conclude, the desaturation has nothing to do with it.

    It happens because your jpeg is saved in Adobe RGB or ProPhoto RGB. Photoshop that will display correctly, but you look at the jpeg format in another application that has no color management and does not include these profiles.

    Always open as ACR sRGB, or convert it to sRGB in Photoshop, if the file should be displayed in applications that are not managing colors (which is most of them).

  • When you save the labels, they save as bmp files

    When I try to save the groups tags that I am, they want to put in the form of bmp files. I just started having this problem Sunday morning March 6. When you save them before they were very good. I have never changed a setting or anything like that, so I don't know what the problem is. But it seems that I have to run a disk clean every time I save one in order for the next to be saved with the file extension, what it is, such as PNG or GIF. I hope you can help me with this situation. Very frustrating. I have Windows XP.

    I found an old discussion about the same question, but it was not an answer.

    My videos colors change when I upload them on Youtube. Colors are desaturated roughly. I can solve the problem of really saturated video rendering, but y at - it another way to avoid the colors to change?

    I use first cs6 and Windows pro. I used the h.264 settings, but I think that I had this same problem with other parameters too (but not sure). Should I try with other rendering parameters or wrong my creation parameters?

    Thank you!

    Problem solved! Somehow, the problem was my internet browser, Google Chrome. With other browsers, I don't have the problem of color. And after you reinstall chrome it works also very well with Chrome.
