backup does not

My computer backup system does not work.  Whenever I put in a new disk, format and the program starts, I get the message "the disc in the drive is a previous backup disk.  However, this is incorrect.

Are you using the Vista backup or any other backup program? Have you tried using the other disk? It seems that there are already data on this disc.

  • Backup does not recognize the previous backup CD

    When you click on backup:

    1. backup does not recognize the last backup cd. The only beginning of path to create a shadow copy backup is to insert a blank disc. How can I fix it?

2 ive run backup from one day to the next day while he created a cliché. In the morning, it is only 1/5 complete suggesting that it is not working properly. I canceled the backup. How can I fix it?

    3. If I try to do another backup he asks the cd of your previous (cancelled backup) despite the fact that it was cancelled and the cds do not exist. How to reset to ask these latest records backup?

Since then, I have downloaded all windows updates but the problem persis

    Thank you, Kel

You mean by cliché, creation of backup image, right? Shadow copy volume is not Windows Backup.

If you canceled the backup Windows is trying to finish the last backup. It's normal.

All over again, trying to backup in a different medium, an external HARD drive.

At first is a stop at the backup in progress"

    1. Restart the computer
    2. Run as administrator command prompt and run this: wbadmin stop job
    3. Typing sdclt.exe in command prompt and click on change settings
    4. Connect your external HARD drive or DVD
    5. If changing the settings is not available, then click on set up automatic file backup
I hope that it will work. Please let me know the results to help others.

  • CSM - Backup does not

I would like to know why my backup does not run at the scheduled time.

If I chose to run 'immediately' it works without problems and a folder called '0' is created in the D:\Backup_CSM.

Scheduled backup does not run and I don't see any info in the newspapers and I get no emails!

    How to debug?

    Hello

What version of CSM are you running?

I ran into a similar problem with CSM 4.4 where the problem is the backup process would get an empty space ahead of time and then not run.

A fix for this problem was published in MCS and MCS 4.5 4.4SP1.

If you run CSM 4.4 a workaround would be to schedule the backup between 10:00 & 11:59 or 22:00 and 23:59.

  • System Administration > operations > scheduled backups does not appear in ACS 5.0.0.21

    Hello!

I want to do the backup schedule. According to the user's guide:

You can create a backup scheduled for the primary instance. To create, reproduce or modify a regular
    backup:
Step 1 Choose System Administration > operations > at the request of the backups.

But the Administration of the system > operations > scheduled backups does not appear in ACS 5.0.0.21.

    How can I save?

    Hi Alexander,.

Could you please confirm which link you found these instructions?

It seems that these are the instructions of the ACS 5.1 user's guide, but we do not have a similar option on ACS 5.0.

More precisely:

    Try again after each step

  • Time Machine backup does not

Time Machine: Do not back up available.

I have a number of issues at hand today.  I'll try to give a bit of history - so I apologize for the story.

Replaced my drive HARD crashed in October 2015.  I restored Mt upward, everything worked fine.  However, my TM return will not save - and does not sense Oct 2015.

I wiped the APTC and did a factory reset.  But it will not save. When I select the drive of the APTC, I get this: of the disc have been replaced or deleted, or someone may be trying to fool your computer into the incorrect disk backup. "Try to eject the disk image." I eject it, restart the backup process. The TM shows my old backup information (see screen capture below).

When I get the device works, I said can't find the backup to John...

    Please notify.

    iMac - El Capitan 10.11.3

TimeMachine uses the single disc Login name disk or something else instead.

It is lost in the transition from the disk dead again.

    Quit TimeMachine.

Connect the TC, open the TM preferences, click "Select disk", select the TC and then click on the button "Disk use".

Click on the 'Options' button, then drag the disks/Partitions that you do not want to be saved in the window, then click on "Save".

It may be that TM starts a new backup (which will take a while).

After trying to import my favorites saved in an html file, using bookmarks > organize bookmarks > import and backup > import html, nothing is being updated from saved files

This isn't "machine code", it's like a JSON backup file is formatted (except it usually shows no line breaks, it's a long line when displaying in most text programs or in Firefox). Rename a JSON file as HTML does not work, the formats are completely different.

If you replace this file in jsonextension, you should be able to restore these data in Firefox.

I have used the backup in the tools system for many years and have
never had any problems. But in my last two backups, both
Audit process have failed, and under the "backup status", he said
"FAILED". In the backup report, there were a couple of files that
could not be back with the error "it is either corrupt or not.
    existed"and has been omitted.

I looked at the backup file and it seems to have the total size of the

Restore Backup Wizard came. Could someone please tell me what might
be problems. Corrupted files that show have been in my player
for a long time and have not changed at all. So I know that they have been
not corrupted and does not exist. And the backup file I have, it's a good
that or it could not be used to restore if my drive failed?

    Comments/suggestions are appreciated.

FYI, I'm using Windows XP SP3.

    Thank you.

It might be that backup just had problems of access to the file for some reason any.  Maybe a process has an exclusive open about it.  You can try to start safe mode (press F8 at startup) and make your backup in Safe Mode.  This prevents unnecessary processes that could interfere with the backup of the race.

  • Recover backups does not

Recently, I used the system recovery on my dv5 and chose everything on my external backup hard drive. Now, when I try to access all that stuff back, I run the executable backup. For unexplained reasons, however, the program does absolutely nothing. I double click, run as administrator, everything, but it does not open anything, or any process or application is located in the Task Manager which has nothing to do with it. I really need my files and this software fails completely. As grievously disappointed in HP as I am (it's my first HP computer), I always feel like my stuff. Can anyone help?

Laughing out loud... Although I did some research more...

go to hp.com and do a search for "sp36300.exe" (without the quotes), under the search results you should see 'enhanced HP Backup and Recovery Manager for Microsoft Windows Vista - HP Business Support Center' click above and download and install HP Recovery Manager and backup , and then try the steps listed in the previous post

  • Windows 7 backup does not not on my new external HDD

I have a HP Pavilion dv4-1435dx laptop with Windows 7 above. I just bought a new external hardrive, ST905004EXA101-RK Seagate Expansion Portable 500 GB.

I tried to back up my computer to the ext hd using windows 7, but whenever I do, I get this message:

"Windows backup could not create a zip file. This could be because the drive on which Windows is installed does not have enough space or it could be a temporary error. Make sure you have at least 400 MB of free space and try again. »

This has happened at least 5 times now, and he always says that he has not supported my computer successfully. This means - there is sometihng wrong with the hd position? If there is, I don't think it's a question of size as the troubleshooting of the message suggests, since the hd station is new and empty data.  (Yes, I delete all data from the backups half completed after each time windows tried to back up my computer).

I thought maybe it was a question of the zip/compression program that I am using, Stuffit. While I downloaded the free trial version of Winzip, restarted my computer, but still it will not save properly.

    Anyone know what is happening?

Uninstall Stuffit and then try to backup Windows.

StuffIt is a third-party program that is known to create problems for Windows backup.

  • Backup does not not in windows 7

Hi and thanks for your help.

Over a year and a half ago, the drive that I use for backups ran out of space and stopped taking backups. I just got a larger capacity drive and thought just to take a backup of the system and start a weekly sched. but when I went to control panel / backup and restore, the screen that came had nothing else that the words 'back up or restore your files"on it. That's all. I have no idea why. I went to the command line and entered wbadmin.exe . A screen flashed black at fast to read and nothing else happens. When I go to the center of the Commission/controls.

There is a warning "that your backup is saved on the disk doesn't have enough free space" and the date of the last backup. To the right of the warning there is an options button when you press it you will get a message. "The backup application could not be started due to an internal error, the specified service does not exist as an installed service(0x8007424)"

  • back from Win10 to Win7 now backup does not work

I tried Windows 10, but had trouble with the resolution of the screen.  I've started using the tool provided by MS Windows7 and now backup gives me an error and does not perform a backup.

Here is the error I get:

Windows cannot disable the task of automatic backup for the following reason:

The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with. (0 x 80041321)

    Try again.

    Can someone please?

    Thanks in advance!

I finally had to call MS and they have managed to solve the problem.  Somehow when I started again from Win10 to Win7 the Task Scheduler or WindowsBackup was damaged.  The registry has also been affected.  The skills needed to repair this problem was well beyond my capabilities.

With the assistance of MS, this problem is now resolved.
