Backup need help to install a new version of windows xp that has been saved in my c: / my 053110 0240 pm backup

I've accidentally done a system recovery for windows xp on an old record.  On the back of the screen it said that it would save my current version of windows xp on my drive c as c; /My Backup 053110 0240 pm.  It appears in my drive c currently but I can't understand how to reinstall it from there. I tried the system restore and it keeps only let me restore to the point that I put the old version in and nothing before.  How can I get my backup version to install from drive c. help, please

My windows update to install a new version of windows update says it acts like it will download and install it then gives me the error code 80070020 and says that my computer is unable to download or install new updates or new version of the windows update. I have a 64-bit windows vista SP2 and my avira antivirus program that has a real-time protection. I tried to do a clean boot upward and tried every possible tip I found on the Microsoft and through suggested methods help panel, I found. My computer has Avira Antivirus that has real time protection I deleted and tried without that somewhere because he said it could be antivirus programs that include real-time protection. Does anyone have advice good?

    Hello

    1. What are the troubleshooting steps correct you did to fix the problem?

2 did you a recent software or changes to the material on the computer?

I would say allowing you to run the FIXIT from the link provided and check if it helps.

You receive error 0 x 80070020 when you use the Windows Update Web site or the Microsoft Update Web site to install the updates

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/883825

You can also try the manual steps and check.

If you follow the manual steps to start the computer in a clean boot state, remember to start the computer in normal mode after you have completed troubleshooting.

Note: when you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7, mentioned in the article to start the computer to a normal startup.

Note: It is possible that some data could be removed if infections are detected.

Hope this helps and keep us posted.

  • Need to download & install a new copy of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit for strongly modified pc OEM

Original of the hard drive has crashed, please download & install a new copy of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit on new SSD. I updated day/has replaced most of the OEM parts to 4 + years except for the motherboard, power supply, & tour. I don't have the old parts, sort of recovery disk installs not successfully because of all the improvements. Have drivers for devices newer than all existing parts on a USB ready when necessary. OEM is telling me to go up the PC with its original components to make it work, and I really don't need all the unnecessary software OEM includes in their recovery disk. Microsoft Download site does not allow me to download from a pc OEM product key. How to solve this? I'm always in the respect of the Windows license agreement, so I don't have to pay for it.  Please advise, thank you

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

  • I have a HP 4410 T with 1 GB of RAM. Can I install a new version of Windows 7?

I have hp 4410t 1 GB can always install a new copy of Windows 7

original title: I have hp 4410t 1 GB can I still install a new virsion of window 7

    Hello ricardoaleman

The system only comes with XP. HP does not offer Windows 7 as an option and is not likely to have the drivers for it. You can run the Windows Upgrade Advisor, but is not 100% because it will test for contradictory app and hardware that is capable of running. If it passes it still may not work due to lack of driver of the manufacturing support.

  • Need help to install a new discrete graphics card

I had a desktop Pavilion p6101f, upgraded to Windows 7, with an integrated Geforce 9100 graphic card. I want to install a discreet card to increase a little things. The HP support instructions say that the first necessary step is to "disable on board and select the right setting in the BIOS" by going into the Setup (F10) immediately at startup, go to the Advanced tab and then select the type of card being installed, which would be PCI - E. Problem is, there is absolutely no sign of the graphics options in the advanced options, or a different tab in my BIOS setup screens. So, what gives? Can I just skip this step and go directly to step 2 - disable the integrated graphics card drivers before installing the new card? Or do something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the clarification. Your correct, it is just to delete the previous drivers and installing the card, then the software from the CD of EVGA. To 31W of power, the card has doesn't require any power plug (s).

How can I save my unused keys for later use? There is a lot of money has evolved with these SW!

I have not found an answer on Microsoft, my being sites I need to call Microsoft technical support by phone.

I explained as well for you!

System operating licenses in detail, that you buy and install yourself, is authorized to transfer to another machine.

But retail licenses also can be installed on a machine at one time.

If you clean the hard drive and take the operating system/product at retail a key machine, you can reinstall the license of retail on another machine and reactivate.

  • Can I install a new version of Windows to place one not boot Windows 7 on a Dell laptop?

Looking for a way to use a laptop computer that has a non-working Windows 7 OS on it.

You could, but why not just use the recovery factory feature or try to repair the installation?

If you are unable to boot from the Windows 7 Desktop, you will not be able to do an upgrade of the repair.

To access the system recovery environment in Windows 7, simply start your PC, just before the system loads the Windows operating system. Press the [F8] key function 8 on your keyboard which will launch the menu Advanced Boot Options. You will see a new option "Repair your computer", select this option and press 'Enter' on your keyboard.

  • What Version of Windows this laptop has been?

    I have been asked to take a look at a cell phone friends, a C50D - A - 13 G,

He sees in a store for him have downgraded to Windows 8 for Windows 7 when he bought it. Now that windows 10 came out he wanted to return to windows 8 and get free upgrade to 10. I found it odd that the installed version of Windows 7 was not in him offering the option to upgrade, however, told him to drop and I would like to recover windows 8 the other partition and reinstall that. Unfortunately, the store that it was his understanding, deleted the original scores and it passed.

I downloaded windows 8 and 8.1 on the microsoft site, but this apparently doesn't work with embedded OEM COA, only retail. I thought about just buy a disc oem windows from ebay, but I don't know which version of Windows 8/8.1 came pre-installed with it.

I doubt it would be Pro (I can get an OEM Pro drive for not a lot of money) and assumes that the House of Premium(these OEM Disks are as available as rocking horse sh**), but I was wondering if someone has a version unhindered from the laptop, even they can verify for me please?

I checked the spec of the machine online, but it just says: 8.1 64bits. Not the current version.

    Thank you

    Lennie

  • Need help to install the new hard drive in Satellite Pro M10

    Hi all

My hard drive died in my M10 Pro Satellite so I decided to adapt to another.
It fits very well in the caddy, but just does not want to slot into place correctly as something seems to be stopped.
    The M10 only accepts a certain brand/model?
Also, nobody knows this as the largest capacity M10 will accept?
    Thank you very much.

    Concerning
    J

As much as I know should not be problem at all. Take the old and the new HARD drive and compare the connectors. I hope that they are the same. I can only imagine that the new HD is not placed correctly in the HARD drive bracket. Make sure that the new is placed as an old man after his retirement from the laptop.

As for max capacity of HARD drive, there is no precise information and we can only speculate on this. Try to use the search option on this forum. Maybe someone already talked to upgrade the HDD on Sam/Satellite Pro M10.

The fact is that Satellite Pro comes with 30, 40 and 60 GB hard drives. How many GB does your new HARD drive?

    Hello

There are a few differences in the names allowed for a field of XFA and a JavaScript object and having a dot in a name is one of them.  In JavaScript, you need to reference the field as a property of the parent, so if the app.016Description0 field is a parent page 1, then you can use page 1 ["app.016Description0"].

But I would like to rename your XFA fields.
