  To work around "printing in rescue mode" ensure that all cartridges are installed and no are exhausted.

  With respect to the drying of the page, change the print settings might help; Definitions of setting for the printer driver.

  It's because you have the frequency adjusted to only 3 ("var frequency = 3;"), which means that the position of the mouse is only checked 3 times per second.  Increase in the frequency should improve things.

• Slow to the installation and the functioning of Windows 7 is too slow

  I upgraded from xp to windows 7. The installation took some time for most of the day! Once the operating system has been loaded it still takes a long time to startup as do anything once the operating system is loaded. Logo for the password startup takes - 5 min 30 sec. Password for desktop computer takes 4 minutes - 45 seconds. Someone has an idea, what is the cause. NOTE: only the operating system is loaded.

  UPDATE: I tried also change the sata drives 2 and still - slow installation and operation too

  Asus will likely provide you with the best Sata drivers. You can try to use a single monitor, to see if the impact of the problem.

  Have you tried to reduce the resolution of the copies in the copy settings.  More you have the planned resolution will have the original and print the copy.  For black and white usually 150 or 300 dpi is fine.

  Yes. CS5 is released when the laptop screen of 1366 x 768 and below resolutions are more frequent.

  Photoshop CC 2014 offers a setting of 200% of your screen high resolution if you want to pay $10 / month for the edition of cloud.

  I wish I saw this thread until I did a factory restore. Well, at least its some comfort to know that I'm not the only one with this problem. I initially blamed the problem on my Razer Orochi 2013, but it turns out that was not the issue.

  And I agree a suitable fix is needed, the weather is a kind of BIOS or update the driver, but not a 3rd party work around. For a $1,200 + laptop, this should not be something that get just is swept under the rug with a 'temporary solution '.

  Please keep us updated on the status of this issue of Lenovo.

• Best way to store backups of windows.

  I'm terrified of losing my files in a hard disk crash. I use Mozy online backup. Sometimes it is desperately slow, "blockages" on a single file for 30 minutes and occasionally reports, "backup failed."

  The Windows backup looks like a good idea, but of course, I understand that if I keep the backup on an external drive in my house, it would be lost in the event of fire or theft, with my computer.

  Experts of this forum recommend backup using Windows and then store it on a USB key and just protect this drive?

  Is it a realistic way to store the backup files to the cloud?

  Or services such as Mozy and Carbonite Online are the best solution and more simple?

  Here's what I do.

  I use EaseUS Todo freeware to make a backup of the system to an external drive. A better program than Windows Backup, IMO '

  I also use Clickfree with their external drive.

  You could just drag files and folders to an external drive, but other options are much better. I didn't know what would be the right person for you.

  Keep the discs you want. I don't worry about fire or theft, but I don't respect the readers of my gun safe.

  I hope that gives an idea.

  Ideas: I love playing hearts in windows while I'm waiting on other things to finish.  Since installing windows 7, I find hearts so painfully slowly that I can enjoy is no longer.  My computer has 2 processors xeon to dual-core @ 3 Ghz and 8 GB RAM with NVIDIA Quadro FX 3500 video card, so I don't think it is hardware related.  I have disabled everything I can in the menu options, including animations, but the game is simply too slow to enjoy.

  I recommend you to uninstall Service Pack 1

  I suggest that you follow the steps mentioned below to refine the question causing third-party software (as applicable).

  Step 1:

  Test the issue in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

  Step 2:

  If your computer very well in safe mode functions, I would pt you your machine ├a State clean startup in order to eliminate conflicts of third party software.

  Note: Follow step 7 to restart your computer in normal mode

  This should be enough to start. I wonder how can I speed up a bit I've run Diskcheck and defrag and Dick Clean-up with very little progress. Just don't have the money for the extra RAM right now either so if there is a way to speed it up without buying extra RAM, I would like to know.

  It's no surprise that it is extremely slow. You have * way * too little
  RAM and you will never get a decent performance with this amount. 1 GB
  is the minimum necessary for performance * beginning * become
  acceptable for people whose needs are very light (because their)
  using the application is light). But for almost everyone, is at least 2 GB
  really need or that you are satisfied with the performance.
   
  In addition, a 40 GB hard drive is * small *. This isn't a performance problem,
  but unless you do not do much with your computer, you will be running
  more disk space very soon. You should have at least 160 GB or more.

• Backup utility Windows 7 stuck on 30%

  Hello world

  I use a Windows 7 computer that I built myself, and I'm trying to backup to an external hard drive connected by USB.  I was able to make a backup, a few weeks ago, but I had to get my computer repaired (failure of CPU and RAM), and since I got back, I was unable to save a backup.  I'm going to run the backup, and it is fine until it reaches 30%.  There, he grinds to a snails pace, perhaps up to 1% every 1-2 hours.  I tried to download another backup software and who also faces a similar problem (battery life 4 + hours an estimate and count).  Just trying to save a picture windows and "My Documents", if that helps.

  Things I have done or checked:

  * I ran a registry clean, which seems to cause some problems for Windows, so I did a system restore before I installed it.  I did a system restore to before that I take the computer to the shop, because I "used" all my points of recent restoration to try to fix everything that was causing my problems (didn't know it's hardware problems at the time).  I hesitate to restore my system all the way back to the previous save point (from March) due to all the programs it would affect.

  * It is not a question of space, being the 1 TB external hard drive and the size of the backup is only 337 GB (depending on the action of the window Center).

  * I checked internal and external hard drives using disk check function.

  * I ran a File Checker system using System Restore which found and fixed a few corrupted files, but running a backup after that always lead to the same question.

  * I tried just let it run for about 6 hours and it got up to 33%.  I had rather not leave my computer on for 3 days waiting for my backup, especially since he never too long before.

  * I updated all the drivers for the graphics card to the motherboard, CPU and checked drivers for both of the hard drives (up to date).

  If anyone has any ideas where to go from here, I would really appreciate it.  I can't write CD/DVD on my setup, so I have not yet tried.

  I was able to make a backup of just the image of the system (not), so I think that it is a file in the My Documents folder that is causing the problem.  I'll have to look through them all and try and understand that one is.
