Backup ScanDisk Ultra 64

Hi guys

I purchased a Scandisk Ultra 64 backup and I'm trying to copy some files, but when I do I tells me that the files are too big

?  (some video files between 5 GB 11 GB). Why is there a size limit and what is the point of a 64 GB Flashdrive if you can't put large files on the device?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

W

Hi tapeworm

Thanks for the tips, thought that they would have the same format, but get where you save videos in a smaller format, or re - format the drive to NTFS.

Thanks again buddy.

My Camileo S10 was working fine for months with my 8 GB ScanDisk Ultra II memory card.
Now, when I start the camera, it is very slow to start and operate (a few second delay for each operations).

When I remove the card SD and trun on the camera, it works fine.

    Is this a known issue?
    An idea for me?

    Thank you.

    Hello

For me, it looks like a problem with the SD card inserted.
I think you should try to format the card CD and it should check again.
If this will not help and you won't see a performance improvement you should replace the SD card and should try another.

  • SD card to Clip Zip?

    Hi all

I'm new to the forum so please excuse my ignorance.

Already, I have a 4G & 8 G Fuze (original version) and am ready to order a ClipZip G 4 after reviewing the xcomments here.  I want also to buy an SD card with the ClipZip that we hope will work on my other rockets, but does not know who's in charge.  I saw something about 16G max recommended by Sansa? (I use the players well enough for audio books).

I see the 16G and 32 G Scandisk Ultra Micro SD cards on Amazon and they come with an adapter.  What should I order?

Not sure that the drill is, but I have that reason to suppose that the adapter is to connect the card on a computer, but the card fits directly into the "rocket"?

I also assume that you download a digital audio book to your computer, using Overdrive Media Console 'transfer it"la carte which in turn, is connected to the drive?

Thank you for advice or explanations,

    Skipjack

Of course, 18 was a typo, and as I said, my info came from the manufacturer.

I ordered the 16 G Level 4, which is more that enough space for audio books, I'll be uploading. Between my 4G and 8G rockets, 2 iPod nano, more a Shuffe G 1 exercise music I'm not likely to run out of space.

My problem is that iPods are really ugly audio books - you can't tell where you are and if you lose your place, it can take forever to find him.  It's worse on the 6th generation 4th and two are hard to cue with overly sensitive controls.

  • How can I reformat a media card

I have a ScanDisk Ultra II, when I put it in my hp731oxi, I get a memory card error error message?

    Hello

If you want to reuse the card on your printer, my suggestion:

    • copy all photos to a computer,
    • the camera allows you to format the card,
    • Take some pictures and put it again to the printer

If this is not the case, ok, then try another card, always not ok this means certainly something is not fair to the reader on the printer.

    Kind regards.

    Hi all

I like my passport because I got it in November.

But yesterday, all of a sudden, I couldn't access my SD card anymore, since the Manager files or music App...

In the settings, it is well recognized (it shows me the space remaining and all) and the card works fine on my previous BB, this Passport yesterday Z10 and another device, a Samsung tablet.

I don't download or move anything for several days.

I tried to remove it, replace, restart Phone several times, nothing works...

When I put it in the phone, it tells me that a card is inserted.

    My passport: SQW100-1

My SD card: ScanDisk Ultra / 64GB adapters

    Anyone know what to do?

    Best,

  • best memory card for cyber-shot

Hello, I have just my first Sony Cyber-Shot today. I bought the memory card, see you at work: ScanDisk Ultra Plus, 64GB, speed up to 40 MB

Anyone have a good recommendation for this carmera? My thanks, frustrated new owner

Wait... you said "doesn't work", which means that it works?
I don't see where the problem is whether you are owner of a new cause frustration.

If the problem is more so relating to the speed of memory card, as I understand it, the faster cards that Sony cameras can take are the ones 95 MB/s. All the works faster, but it's not really a difference. 95 MB/s is simply the CAP.

I remember someone test cards to 95 MB/s and faster, the difference was minimal strip - the conclusion was that 95 MB/s is on it.

  • Memorex Ultra speed Hi-Speed USB CD BurnerMemorex Ultra speed Hi-Speed USB CD Burner can I store files of backup on it

Hi-Speed USB-CD-Burner can Memorex Ultra speed I store files of backup on it

    Hello Chris,

While there is no reason why you can't burn files to your CD burner for backup, most people use an external hard drive and backup Windows for this purpose.

The reason behind this, I think, is that CD can get scratches and become unreadable, while external hard drives are more resistant.

If the answer is "Yes you can", but there are other methods that others use.

Let us know if that helps.

  • Ultra Backup 64 GB: how to restore files on a public computer?

    Hello

I recently bought a Sandisk Ultra Backup flash with a capacity of 64 GB drive.

U3 removed, the software installed on my PC - everything worked well.

Now, if I come to a public computer with my USB key, I can not install the backup software.

So, how can I access my sustained upward, protected by password data stored on the Flash DRIVE on a computer that does not have the Sandisk backup software?

    Thank you very much

    James

you need not reinstall u3. There is a standalone version of the backup software that you install on the usb drive. If that's what you've done all you need to do is open the USB on the public computer, and run the backup software. Then, you will have access to all your files. don't forget the stand alone software is installed to the usb port doesn't drive not computer.

Here is the article from the knowledge base with the software and installation instructions.

  • SanDisk Ultra Backup 8 GB USB unable to view copied files unless the originals are still on the PC HARD drive?

This could be me be stupid... but please humor if I am because I'm not supertechie - but I'm backup me of my hard drive on the SanDisk Ultra Backup USB drive using "SanDisk Backup" - if I leave the copies of the files on my disk hard original PC (the folder I'm backup of) I am able to view the files on the Flash drive.  If I delete the original files from the PC, I only have the ability to restore files from the USB Flash drive?

The question of having an external device is to take the PC files and use elsewhere?  Is it possible to display the files on the USB key that you need to keep the original files on your PC?

I'm sorry, you say SecureAccess MANAGER is part of your startup not SecureAccess.  The Manager is used for autostart SecureAccess on the USB drive when it is plugged.

  • Zoom TAC2R or other fast ultra interface boards

    Hi all

My rig software concert revolves around MainStage running on a MacBook Pro 15 "and MOTU Ultralite MK3 interface audio (FireWire only) and I am very happy with it. However, I try to have a second, smaller, ultra portable configuration that I can just throw in a backpack for small gigs I need just my AMT sax clip microphone (using its wired configuration) and the Yamaha WX5 wind controller. For my proposed Setup, I'll only need 2 x e/s with MIDI I/o (although more is always nice!) and it must be a unit completely powered by the bus. I am impressed by what I saw of the Zoom TAC2R in terms of price, I/O + MIDI, is the Thunderbolt connectivity (must be pleasant and reliable with very low latency) and bus power but would appreciate the thoughts of someone who has used this device, or can you recommend something similar for my budget and requirements. I can get the TAC2R because THE $ 398 delivered, and it's really not cheap here in Australia. My ideal unit would be RME or AU, but I can't justify the expense for a backup system that I will not use it all the time. My primary rig has micro system wireless and wireless in ears, wireless MIDI etc. and it is only a configuration 2RU, there are moments where I would like something smaller and a little more discreet.

There are a number of interfaces autour in my price range, but my main considerations (other than/o, MIDI, and bus-power) are very low latency, stability of the driver, portability and small physical size. I excluded M-Audio from the beginning because I've heard so many problems with these. I also prefer to stay away from FireWire 400 units because a) FW 400 is now old, and b) I'd rather watch the new connectivity options.  I'm also eager to hear about the quality of the amps before, especially as to whether they are on par with or lower than the MOTU Ultralite.

    Any thoughts?

    See you soon

    Gary

I am extremely happy with my T4 Audio of resident. This is the thunderbolt and operated bus 4 input/output with midi support $249 here in the United States.

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

Personally, I have not heard of specific issues with this WD HARD drive. I Googled it and found some non-specific stuff.

However, to answer your question: in my view, there is no problem with the 1 TB external harddrive to adapt the SSD from below 500 GB. Therefore larger than GB 463, less than 500 GB, 1 TB, it should fit without problems. There is no problem for cloning SSD and HARD drive imaging (the only problem is that it might be a bit slower, but no problem to do so).

    Hello

When doing a full backup of the computer falls down and must be closed using the power switch, it is very good when you make a partial backup.

The hard drive is formatted in NTFS

    Hello

I will try to resume that you issue.
The HARD disk has several partitions (I guess 2 partitions)
The backup procedure works fine if you safe data only from single partition, but it crashes if you try to create a backup of all partitions of set. Am I wrong?

My first question; What backup utility do you use?
Are you sure that this backup tool supports the backup of the two partitions at the same time?

I put t know if it will help but a similar problem happened to me.
I've used Norton ghost and I wasn't able to create a backup of a partition.

The procedure began, but after several minutes, the screen goes white and the notebook frisottés.
I ran the scandisk, chkdsk and I defragment the whole HARD drive.

    This helped!

  • Hello. I created an image of HD main on a hard drive external drive. It is: HD used 282 GB 320 GB, disk backup image has 251 gb. Is all backed up? Can anyone help on this? Thank you

Hello. I created a disk image of my mac HD on an external hard drive. It is: my mac HD is used 282 320 GB, backup disk image, I did a 251 gb. Is all backed up? I need to be sure before you reformat the HD and install mac so original. Can anyone help on this? Thank you

    Probably not.

Need an external hard drive as large or larger than the drive you want to back up.

You have not said what backup software you are using.

I use Carbon Copy Cloner by https://bombich.com/ $40.00 there. You can also use Super Duper.

These two products will make a bootable backup complete or a clone of you existing hard drive, including your recovery partition.

Once you made the backup, if your hard drive has never been to fail, you could simply start on the external backup drive.

If you back up because you're upgrading the hard drive for an SSD, you can put the SSD in an external enclosure and clone your drive in the SSD, test it, and then replace the HD when you are confident that it works well.

P.S. External hard drives are cheap these days. Here is an example: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-my-passport-ultra-1tb-external-usb-3-0-2-0-portab le-hard-drive-classic-black/7869174.p? id...
