Bad color Z5200 range

Hello

My company uses Epsons for over 10 years now and we have a fantastic run with them. Recently, we arrived at toupgrade our printers and was told by some company different these new Designjet printers were great for speed and colouraccuracy, if I put my trust in them and went with 2 of Z5200. Since we had were addressed, we did not have much help ingetting them set up and I tried to get my head around them to try to get the best color accuracy.

The Epsons allows us to print proofs of models of wallpaper that we have separated the colors using a program called AVA. Moyenessentiel replica reached overprinting method with the press as gravure printing. The Epson has done fantastic present and the prints came out perfect regarding what would be on the press.

Since we started using the HP however, the weight of tone were far and there seems to be a high amount of gamma ofcolours. As there are colors we are able to print through our called relics anEpson Stylus 7000 + 9000.

What I want to know is if I use the correct print settings or not as Mr. Customer Support HP guys seem not towant know as ' the machine is not defective its something you're doing wrong. "

For reference, we use Mac OS x 10.5

Used for the Epsons printing methods

install the ICC profile with i1 publish pro in the CMS used by AVA

Send to print using the Epson drivers with the parameters as follows

Media type: Photo quality ink jet paper

Mode: Tip-

Print quality: Fine-720 dpi

Color management: no color adjustment

The media we use are presentation Matte Coated paper 180gsm

The method that I use to print using the HP

ICC profile installation done with i1 publish pro and calibrate the document to be used for the printer (I made a custom profile for our fill he tried with the standard presets but no joy.) For the moment I make 'the best' result by using the predefined custom paper that makes telling the system the best match is Matte Photo paper) and then put the profile to publish pro in the CMSused by AVA (I tried a full calibration of the paper and color with the integrity profiling kit but no improvement either)

Send to print using the HP drivers with the parameters as follows

Color matching: seller corresponding

Color management: Application

Paper type: choose the custom-made paper earlier

Quality options: Custom

Quality: best

Maximum detail: Yes

Media the same as that used with the Epsons.

If someone could shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated that we seem to have been left in ignorance of all the HP thisfrom and our provider.

Kind regards

Pete

Hello! The product you have seems to be a printer. Printers Designjet is a completely different animal. For the best chance of finding a solution, I would post in the forum for HP Business Support.

  • Satellite M115-S1061 - display problem - bad colors

According to my daughter, his portable Satellite under XP - SP2 suddenly went dim. At first I thought that it would be the backlight inverter, so I got a replacement, but to change that did not make any improvement.

Experiment with display settings it became apparent that a lot of the display of colors were not what they should have been and I started thinking about something had happened to the LCD screen or its wire causing the loss of one of the primary colors for example: Blue however, after restart I have observed a lot of blue in the diplay up to what fully loaded XP.

Display themes and by setting to try to get a useable simple, it became more and more obvious that there is some type of ongoing video inversion.

That said, I can't find any setting that could cause this or any similar report of this disease. I scanned for any viruses and returned only several points without results or imprivement of restoration.

The driver has not been updated, so it there is no possibility of returning to a previous iteration and are looking for a update indicates the current dirver is the last.

In addition, as indicated, during the first boot, the screen seems to be relatively normal brightness and colors are properly...
It is not until the Office XP launch things go astray.

Any help would be greatly appreciated that the school is in session, and I be get this resolved and getting a new laptop!

    Hello

    > Also, as indicated, during the first boot, the screen seems to be relatively normal brightness and colors are properly... It is not until the Office XP launch things go astray.
From your description, I think that this could be a graphics card problem.

I would really recommend connecting an external monitor, second to this laptop to check if the same wrong colors would be visible on the external monitor.

If the same bad colors will appear simultaneously on the second monitor then the question could be really related to a bad GPU chip

In this case a replacement (motherboard) would be necessary

  • Why is my bad color when the cartridge is three quarters full?

    Hello

I have a HP all in one C5880.  My color cartridge is three quarters full, but the color or terrible.  I can't use for greeting cards.  I have for years and this is the first time, the color was so BAD, I can't use my printer.

Is there something I can do?

Thank you very much for your answer.

I learned from another forum that might help remove the cartridge, place it on a wet napkin for five to ten minutes.  I did it and the color has improved by about 75%.

The Red is still not perfect, so I'll check what you have suggested.

I called HP and they told me that I needed a new printer because the printer head or something was not working.

Apparently, this is the cartridge that might have gotten hardened.  Happy that I do not buy another printer!

  • Bad color rendering

I took a peek and saw several discussions on the bad made colors, but none of the solutions seem to solve my problem. I posted my pictures after the installation of PS to a site "Photo Zen" and a "Coppermine". Here is an example of the problem on a Coppermine site. The initial image is far away, but if you click on the picture and enlarge, you'll see that it renders correctly. Any help would be appreciated:

    http://www.dfwtower.com/Coppermine/displayImage.php?album=lastup & cat = 0 & POS = 0

    OK, problem solved.

Before editing in Photoshop, I used a small piece of pre-treatment in Lightroom. Lightroom has a selection of color profile that is not sRGB. Thus, when in LR I right click on my image and select Edit with PS. The LR color profile that is NOT sRGB postponed to PS. PS has selected sRGB color profile of LR transported all the way through the exception.

When I put the color in sRGB LR and continued as I had in the past with my PS changes, Zen Photo and Coppermine colors were right then.

So, the bottom line, I don't know there is a problem, but for me it was, and I suspect that others have the same problems...

Thanks to the community for answers.

  • Bad color in Photoshop when pasting from Illustrator

    Hey!

I have what seems to be a problem with the 2014 CC Illustrator edition (tried CS6 as well). The problem also occurs in InDesign.

The problem is that a color change occurs when I copy something in Photoshop of Illustrator. Color profiles are all synchronized on all Adobe applications and I use sRGB as Coated FOGRA39 as CMYK and RGB. The RGB values are the same, but the colors are different, even if the profiles are synchronized and double and triple checked! No checking is enabled.

See images for shifts of color that occurs. The same shift occurs also when I save something in illustrator to JPEG for example. This leads me to believe that there is something in Illustrator and Indesign which does not work as expected and that Photoshop is the right.

    More information:

    • Windows 7 x 64 w / Geforce GTX 970
    • A Spyder 4Pro-sized Asus P246 (when I use the default Windows profile that is not happening. I even tried the default profile from ASUS and happens the same thing as with my own profile)
    • Reinstalled two times by the full suite of CC.
    • Tried with a different graphics card and the current calibrated profile - same thing
    • I have 3 monitors and the problem occurs on all three with three different monitor icc profiles. But the change in color is more apparent om the ASUS because it is a range wide screen maybe?
    • In the Panel layer in Photoshop, color picker etc. colors reflect those of Illustrator, but the image itself is a different color. Maybe the Panel layer PS isn't the color management?
    • RGB colors in the screenshots are 0 255 0.

Would be very grateful if someone could help me in the right direction so that I can enjoy synchronized colors. =)

    Thank you!

    illustrator.PNG

    photoshop.PNG

    I solved the problem.

Seems that for some reason any synchronized bridge CC settings don't stick to! So I changed all the settings to North American General Purpose 2, applied and open applications and then get back on my updated prepress 3 Europe and - voila! Now, all the colors are correct between Adobe applications!

Note for later: always first try the easiest possible solutions...

  • Bad color images

    Hello

I have a problem in Lightroom.
I have just Lightroom 3 a try, only it turns out that the colors of the images are not displayed correctly.
He gives this darker and sorting green-heavy version of the original.
It's pretty funny cause they look like photographs developed bad movie or something.tongue.gif

Anyway, some time ago I tried a previous version of Lightroom, and I think that as a first step, the colors were fine,
later it became what I described just because I think I've hit something.
Then someone know how I can get the colors to be displayed correctly?

Please note that I did a fresh install of Lightroom and removed all the before Lightroom-oriented.

And all the colors outside of Lightroom or even the appearance of Lightroom panels and others are correct.
Then all the image viewers, videos, all other media... they all look right.
Even in Photoshop, where I had a similar problem also but it was a color-setting space or something.
    But apparently, Lightroom has who?

Oh, AND I found that when I'm in the import interface, thumbnails of images are displayed correctly.

Then when I select ones I want and import them actually use are not the same plus.

If someone has an idea or the solution, of course, would be great.

Because this is really unfortunate, I was looking forward to using this,

especially now I have a camera that supports the RAW, I wanted to develop in Lightroom.

(Oh yes, images, I tried were just photos JPEG-be said by the way.)

    Greetings...

Almost certainly a bad monitor profile.

How do you calibrate? Have you, or is it a monitor provided by the manufacturer profile?

Try to delete the profile for the monitor to display properties and see if all the apps work the same. This will help identify the problem.

  • Color Laserjet 2600n: bad color printer

For some reason, my printer is not printing color well. Printed black letters are fine, but if there are pictures associated with the print, they come out black. I did a test print and the Red was very low. Red cartridge has been reviewed and was going well, with a lot of ink.

    Ideas? Thank you!

Well, could not download pic. Ordered new red ink cartridge. He came and before I could load, I noted the printed colors have now were terrific. I don't know what has changed and why this happened. I'm just glad that he did. Thanks for your help.

  • Color LaserJet Pro 200 M251nw: bad Color Laserjet Pro 200 M251nw print quality

    Hello

I've owned the above printer for 1 month and for the first two weeks, it worked fine. On his return from a week leave. When I now print the image resembles what I can only describe as if someone has dribbled water down causing the toners to face each other.  I cleaned and followed all the troubleshooting of things without success. I also checked the toner drums and they appear fine. Any help would be appreciated as I now seem to have a printer expensive usless

    Thank you

    Alan

    Hi @Al24,

I read your post and see that when printing now, the image looks as if someone has dribbled water down causing him the toners to face each other. I will definitely do my best to help you.

    You use Genuine HP Toner?
What are the levels of toner?

Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

    Run the printer calibration.
On the configuration of the system key touch printer, print quality, color calibration calibrate now.

Print a diagnostic Page to see if you have the same results. Trying to determine if it is a hardware or software problem.

Go to Setup, reports, arrow down and select diagnostic report.

I have a document with several steps to run a clean and check the settings of the printer driver.

    Troubleshooting print quality problems.

Make sure the paper type is selected and no paper said.

Check if the drum unit for damage:

    1. remove the cartridge of toner product and check that the tape has been removed.
    2. check the memory chip for damage.
3 examine the surface of the imaging drum on the bottom of the toner cartridge.
CAUTION: Do not touch the roller (Imaging drum) on the bottom of the cartridge.

His fingerprints on the imaging drum can cause print quality problems.
    4. If you see the scratches, fingerprints, toner or other damage on the imaging drum, replace the toner.
    5. If the imaging drum does not appear to be damaged, rock the toner cartridge gently several times and reinstall it. Print a few pages to see if the problem is resolved.

The test pages come out the same?

What kind of paper do you use?

If you appreciate my efforts, please click on the "Thumbs up" button below.

If there is anything else I can help you, let me know. Thank you.

  • D7560: bad color printing

I've printed hundreds of CDs and DVDs correctly with this printer.  I just print the title on the surface to be printed, not graphics.

Earlier today, this printer has started printing clear blue instead of black.  Even after cleaning, it continues to this problem.

In my view, that this printer uses the Photo Cartridge black when printing on a CD/DVD, even when it's just text.  Ink cartridges are new, so the "Print Quality Report" shows that they both have a lot of ink left.

    What is going on?

Thanks for the reply.  For those following this thread who want to understand how a printer combines Cyan, Magenta and yellow to black, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMYK_color_model.

For those who want to understand what the black Photo cartridge is convenient (it improves the black CMY cartridges created), see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rich_black.

I print my OpenOffice DVDs and have the driver configured to print to the highest quality.  Between that and the fact that my color cartridges get used much faster than my regular black, it is fairly certain that they use to print my DVD even though ATEOTD, it is only black text.

  • Bad color appears when you use the color replacement tool.

I use this tool in CS4 on an image with a transparent background.

When I set the foreground color of R165 G165 B165 and apply, the resulting color on my image is R64 B64 G64. Any ideas why please?

Replace color seems an unsuitable approach to the task.

«If you have transparency anyway just lift the part on a clean diaper (make a selection with the rectangular selection tool, layer > New > layer by cutting) and apply the layer Style "Chromakey".»

    February 21, 2011

    Hello:

It could be the wrong venue for my question but here goes.  I hope that one of you will recognise my problem.

Through CS4, I was printing with an Epson R1900.  My monitor and printer have been described with Extreme XRite Eye-1.  I use Epson Ink in the printer and, especially, the Epson paper.  Since almost a year, the screen and the engravings were a good match.

A few days ago, I printed a photo with the light of the Sun reflecting off the water; the color is yellow-gold (RGB 248, 216, 122 and 103, 82, 44); the color profile of the file is 8-bit sRGB.  On Epson glossy paper, the color reproduction is more like a dull green.  I tried the glossy with the custom profile and the Epson Vivid stock.  I tried CS4 color management and printing, management of the color (not at the same time); I do not allow of CS4 and the printer manage color, at the same time.  A new profile was generated for the glossy paper.  In all configurations, the printed color is different degrees of dull green.

The closest color reproduction is to use the Epson Vivid, plain paper or glossy profile but specify plain paper settings.

The computer has been turned off and restarted several times.  I deleted and reinstalled the printer.  Cyan, yellow and orange ink cartridges have been replaced.  Nozzle cleaning and maintenance head alignment programs were executed.  Epson technical support has been contacted, but they have not yet identified the problem.  Feel secure by the Windows XP Windows and Fax Viewer gives the same results.

I would appreciate any advice to solve this problem.  Of course, I can't print anything with this color error.

Thank you for your time and your consideration.

    February 23, 2011

    Dear Peter:

I'm sorry for missing accessories.  They left here.  I guess that the servers forum stripped attachments.

On a brighter note, I think that the problem has been resolved.  I generated new profiles for the R1900 with papers, which I use.  Then I did some printing tests, as follows.

    1. no color (by Epson) management,

2 original profile with different parameters and

    3. new profile with different parameters.

The results were consistent.  I compared the results with the monitor and the previous impressions (if available).

    1. no color management, the impressions are significantly dark but the color was OK.

    2. the original profile of brilliance, the impressions are noticeably dark and color had a blue-green tinge.

    3. with the new profile of brilliance, the impressions are good for the brightness and colors.

One question remains: what happened!  Cartridge ink, ink and paper are Epson; the files have not changed, reading file has not changed, etc.  However, something (s) are a very important parameter!  My experience of mechanical engineering, I'm used to the tolerance of manufacturing and functional variations but what's this fickle setting.  For me, this experience suggests that the original Epson profiles are now worthless.  If it wasn't for the printer profiling system, my impressions would be terrible.  I wonder how many times this change suddenly system occurs.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello

    ·        Have you tried to update the drivers for the graphics card?

You must install the drivers for its display, currently functioning in VGA mode, that after having installed the drivers you will be allowed to change the resolution.

Download the correct display, your computer's video card drivers.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 wireless very wrong colors

Any help would be appreciated!  Very bad colors! Orange print as gray.  Green print as gray coal.  Red prints as Burgundy. Most of all colors is in a purple to dark gray range. Sky blue is the only colour that prints like this would be as expected. Yellow seems to not print. My cartridges are new (80 + dollars). I made a Page of Diagnostics of HP Print quality and target 2 looks GREAT. Just all the wrong colors. I ran scan doctor, no help. I checked the contacts on the ink cartridges and print heads. The ink is visible on the print and print head stud tips heads. I wiped on a napkin Cyan print heads and Maginta are clearly visible on the towel, not so, Black Yellow is clearly present. Black text is the only thing that prints perfectly. P.S. I cleaned the printheads that so many times I have used a little less than a quarter of the ink in the cartridges. I guess I thought that 10th time could be better than the third time (unfortuneatly not so much).

Hello Testpatern2. I'll need a little more information to help. Where it no scratches in focus 2 where the yellow content should be?  You use the unfilled genuine HP cartridges?

Since you have problems with the color mix in colors like orange and green; and there seems to be no way out of the yellow part on the black and Yellow Printhead ink, we might have a problem with the printhead and would need to replace it. Here is the document that should be used to solve problems of quality in your printer model. You can skip the steps that you have already tried, but I re - print a diagnostic page and use the instructions to read the test images. I hope this helps.

  • Problem with color, too saturated exported images management

    Hello

I have an image in Photoshop (CS5, Windows 7) that I wanted to export to PDF and print it, but then I noticed the colours varied considerably making the result unusable.

The image is composed in AdobeRGB and I work on a wide range of screen (Dell U2711) I calibrated and profiled with a Spyder4.

In Photoshop, the image contains a beautiful dull light brown but when I open the PSD in Illustator or InDesign or when I export it as a PDF and view it in Acrobat, it is much too red in it. I enclose below an example of how the colors look like in Photoshop (left) and the rest of the system (right):

    wrong-colors.jpg

(Note: this is a JPEG AdobeRGB, so the consultation on a normal range screen might not show as much difference that it is actually)

This color shift is very extreme, and I don't know what the cause of the problems. I tried different profiles for my monitor (the only one I created with the Spyder, the profile of the Dell factory, the standard profile from AdobeRGB, no profile at all etc..). While the color has obviously changed a bit the problem as a whole has not changed: Photoshop shows the beautiful yellow brown, other applications show a very reddish image. The difference is even noticeable quite highly on my second monitor which is just a normal range of the screen with a range of about 73% of the sRGB colors.

I also tried to export to a flat JPEG with no embedded profile that makes the result a little better, but the colors are still not accurate at all. It's very confusing because I don't know what the problem is and I don't know if it's just Photoshop the wrong colors or if other applications just to bad color management.

It would be great if you could help me out here.

    Thank you.

P.S. this problem could be linked to this thread http://forums.adobe.com/message/4178572#4178572 Although I couldn't find a working solution there.

P.P.S. opening the image/PDF exported in Photoshop, product colors you want, once again, is not a weird conversion causing issues.

If it is not the right profile, there would be at least two independent yet more fake profiles that I spend in assinging profiles of good and evil. I doubt it. I'm sure that Windows and Photoshop use the right profiles. Both monitors independently change when assinging different profiles and colors in Photoshop always will change accordingly.

Applications that do not seem to choose the right profile are Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat. When I do the primary external monitor they display the colors correctly. But as soon as I do the laptop monitor the main display colors aren't yet.

So I guess that Windows and Photoshop are doing everything right, but Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat use only the profile of the main screen. So on the range wide screen it is obviously all saturated (especially in red). However, when I put my main screen what they use it for both profile that specifies the range widescreen on the big screen and also quite accurate colours on the internal monitor because it's the color range is much smaller.

I declare this a bug in these applications.

My new laser Jet worked very well until I followed the instructions on the printer for an automatic update. Now print is ruined. Page layout is described in gray, and look bad color photos. This happened DIRECTLY after that I said yes to the screen to update printer on the printer itself. I did not change my Mac.

I tried closing printer, computer shutdown, and then restart the printer, then restart the computer.

The printer was so easy to set up and worked wonders for 200 pages that I sent to him so far, until I said yes to an update. Wish really to say yes to that, but I just assumed it would work as well as everything else.

Thank you for your help to solve this.

After trying countless things, including uninstalling and reinstalling the printer and download the latest driver, I called Technical Support. The number is on the internet, not on HP. 800-334-5144 where you need it. They continue to try to trick you online, but eventually, you get to someone who can help.

When I described the print results, I was getting, she had me do the cleaning Page, 3 x and 3 x color calibration, which corrects the problem.

The problem of updating firmware with the trainer, is what I * think * she said.

If your printer works fine... DON'T let NOT download an update.

It has been long since I've owned a laser printer. Lesson learned. Thank you, Natasha.
