I have my account email address is * address email is removed from the privacy *, when I have the printer works properly. It is also stated in this concern when I checked that the printer is not physically connected. I want to get help, how it could be done so that I have my printer on my computer properly. Thank you very much and look forward to hearing in this regard.

Sincerely yours.

The printer worked correctly in the past?  You have a physical connection via USB or a parallel port?

  • HP Envy: Instant ink "connect your printer to the internet" emails

I'm often abroad and so my printer is turned off for extended periods. I continue to receive e-mail from hp saying that my printer is not connected (I'd be very worried if it was!) and I should connect my printer to the internet - that of course isn't possible. Anyone know if it is possible to disable this feature? I have looked at various preferences in my account but cannot find a way to do it - emails are very irritating!

    Hi @Adrian774,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I was browsing the documentation that I have on this printer and has been unable to find out exactly how much power these printers use. The printer HP Envy range are marked with the ENERGY STAR logo and qualified

to ENERGY STAR specifications of the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States for imaging devices.

  • Can I connect a printer to ann existing adhoc WLAN?

I have two Macs connected via a WLAN adhoc. Now, I want to connect a printer. I tried, but failed.

According to the information of the printer company that should indeed not possible. Now I have 2 questions:

    Is • this information correct?

Can • I install a second WLAN; and if so, where can I find advice how to set this second WLAN (steps to move forward)?

    Hans

There are two types of Wifi network, the Infrastructure being the other type and ad hoc, you are referring to. While it is possible to connect two computers together in an ad-hoc Wifi type looks like the printer works with a type of Wireless Network Infrastructure. A Network Infrastructure needs to a central controller for example a WiFi base station.

If both Macs have only Wifi connections and no Ethernet connection, it is possible to link them together in an ad-hoc configuration, it seems that in order to get one of the Mac to act as a controller that is operating in Infrastructure mode, I think that you need to be connected to a network via Ethernet, can be configured to 'share' this Ethernet to Wifi connection. Even in this case it is not certain that a Wifi printer will accept this as it is still a very stripped down Wifi configuration.

If you had not a hardware base station Wifi for example an Apple Airport Express, which would certainly be able to do the work for you.

Another approach to consider connects to the printer via USB to one of the Mac and then share the printer from the Mac. The second Mac would then be able to print to the printer via the Mac. It should work even with the two Mac computers via an installer of the adhoc Wifi.

  • Connect a printer to the G20-110

    Hello

Someoen can tell me how to connect a printer port parallel to the G20-110. It doesn't seem to be a connection to the rear port. There is a small blue card (I think it's 9-pin) but I was wondering if I could get a converter/adapter for this?

    Hello

In my opinion, you should try the PCMCIA connection--> parallel port
I found a PCMCIA card that should work properly.

  • Tecra Z50-A-14 t - bad connection WiFi signal

    In short.

Absolutely the same problem with my new Tecra.
    Stable connection by cable.

Bad connection same 3 5 meters from the router. If the distance is longer, or I use the laptop in another room sometimes it s no link at all.
The card is Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless AC-3160 and that article how I found the link above.

All electronic in the work of the House with no problem, but this piece of garbage to Wi - Fi only the same has even after 3 visits in the repair shop. And that s for new out of the box laptop.

    I really disappointed me.

+ The message was edited: link has been removed - forum rules +.

Hmm. have you noticed the same problem of weak signal using the laptop to the power of the battery as well as connected to the adapter?

My signal low similar knowledge questions may seem due BOF WiFi enabled power saving settings. This setting can be found in the current power plant? Advanced settings

On the other hand, it might be possible that there is something wrong with the WiFi antenna cable. Maybe it is not properly connected to the mini PCI module

In the case of changing the settings would not help you and if your already updated the Wlan to the latest version available, I think that the Toshiba certified maintainer should check the antenna.

    Hello

With Docking Station, you can connect all the cables for printer, keyboard and mouse, adapter directly to the charging station.

So whenever you use a laptop, you have just dock the laptop on the docking station and not need to re connect all cables again.

This will help you when you move frequently with the laptop.

Docking station will save your time, outside any other aspect, that it has to offer.

I want to participate in the program of alternative to instant ink HP Service.  To do this the said program brochure that I have my printer is connected to the Internet.  I have never made a connection like that.

Currently, I don't have a cable modem wireless.  Do I need to have a cable modem wireless to connect my printer to the Internet?  If this is not the case, how can I connect my printer on my existing cable modem?

My cable modem is: Motorola SURFboard of SBV5220

    Hello

Your printer needs to have an ethernet port in the back, where you can connect a LAN cable. You will need to connect a LAN cable to a free port on your current modem on the back of the printer - this should establish an internet connection.
