Bad having to download and install Adobe Flash Player in Windows Internet Explorer 11 8.1
I tried several times to download the flash player on the Adobe site with repeated failure. The Web site automatically goes to the help/support pages and won't let me download the flash player at all. So I run the troubleshooters it gives you and one tells me that needs Flash Player active, the active x filter in or I need to update the version that is installed. Make sure that the flash player is on and filter ActiveX is disabled. Then proceed to check the current version to see if she needs update and after the execution of the system check to see if I need an update I'm told that the installer IS NOT Flash player on my laptop. Only where the problem arises because the Adobe Web site will not let me access the page flash player so that I can download and then install it on my laptop... Someone please HELP me understand the problem here?
Hi jethro469,
Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Internet Explorer on Windows 8.1 and updates are distributed by Microsoft via Windows Update. You can also download the installer of Microsoft Update from the link displayed at the bottom of the Flash Player issues. Windows 8 page.

I'm trying to watch videos and it tells me to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. However, I can not install the Flashplayer. Using Firefox 26.0, MacOSX 10.9 Mavericks. I know other users have the same problem, and I tried all the suggestions to correct the problem without success. Is there an alternative to Adobe Flachplayer?
If you encounter difficulties downloading the Setup file through the maze of the Adobe site, use rather this direct link:
If you have downloaded the file successfully, but you are unable to install exactly what goes wrong? Have you tried everything on the next page of troubleshooting?

My computer ASUS laptop was originally a Windows 8.1 OS, and I used the latest version of IE as my browser. I then upgraded to Win 10 and used MS Edge as my browser for the last year, or almost. I know that Adobe Flash Player is embedded or pre-installed in Win 10 or an edge. I'm now migration to Firefox. I was able to watch the live broadcast in MS Edge (athletes on Canadian channels TSN and Sportsnet). Streaming live isn't working / start now that I use Firefox. I thought that since Flash Player is already "installed" there was nothing else I needed to do to watch the live broadcast. Query - do I need to download and install a version of 'fresh' Adobe Flash Player to work with Firefox, well there is a 'work' Flash Player who continues to work with Mrs. Edge?
Yes, Flash must be installed especially for Firefox.
Other browsers use their own version of Flash and with some, it is integrated or the Flash plugin is supplied with the browser. NPAPI - Plugin for Firefox and other browsers based on Gecko, PPAPI for Chrome, Opera, Vivaldi and Edge, ActiveX for Internet Explorer
Firefox needs the NAPAPI - version of the Flash Plugin. which is a proprietary owned by Adobe - not open source as with the Mozilla mission.

Make sure that you disable the option in the center of this page before clicking the install now button.

I can't install Adobe Flash Player on Windows 7, IE11
I can't install Adobe Flash Player on Windows 7, IE11 after countless attempts. I installed Chrome (which I didn't do, and I still don't know if it was necessary), I updated Java to the latest version, I uninstalled Silverlight (thinking maybe it has been installed by default), I also (temporarily) disabled my Norton protection when installing it the last 4 times, and I made sure that the add-on has been "enabled" in the fall of management modules area , and yet, he does not show it when I do a test of the Adobe system being installed. It also does not appear on my start - search for Adobe programs. I'm completely frustrated, especially when the web page to download Adobe told me that all the 3 steps are completed and effective and thank you & Enjoy. I have read the forums as well, but I can't find a solution. Help, please. Thank you, Bill
If you do not have an error during the installation of the plugin is probably installed successfully. It is possible that the plugin is disabled in Internet Explorer or ActiveX filtering is disabled. Please see: Enable Flash Player for Internet Explorer and ActiveX in Internet Explorer filtering after ensuring the Flash Player is enabled and activeX filtering is disabled, via IE to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html and click on the "Check now" button What are the results for Information System?
Java and Silverlight are two completely different programs, have nothing to do with Flash Player.
Flash Player is a browser plugin and will not appear on a start - search Adobe programs. It appears in Control Panel > Add Remove programs.

How do I install Adobe Flash player on Windows 7 Home Premium on my laptop?
I tried for several days to install Adobe Flash player on my laptop, but nothing helped. He'll say to me to close the Explorer of IE tab and I do, but this message continues to appear. I can hold down the CTRL, ALT, DELETE keys to display the Task Manager to see if it is running. When I close the Task Manager, then he continues to lower the load, but when I try to play games, it shows the message that I need to download flash player. Someone please help me get to the bottom of this frustrating problem.

Install Adobe Flash Player on Windows and Internet Explorer?
Is - this now of paramount importance that Adobe Flash Player, will also be installed on Windows and Internet Explorer? After decades of semi - master the computer, I find this embarrassing question for me. Lately, Adobe Flash Player (Shockwave) has become a pariah for many due to its hostile structure and arrogance from Adobe to help! Up-to-date facilities have been substantially no problem. Now, speaking on behalf of all the tortured, are we not all exhausted trying to fix things? Yes! Well, if is my madness of query, or is there a grain of truth? Earlier that apply forward. Thank you!

IE uses an ActiveX version while web browsers such as Firefox and SeaMonkey uses the base plugin version.

Cannot install Adobe Flash Player on Windows 7 64-bit OS. All Solutions?
What can I do to get Adobe products to work?
The yellow bar at the top of many Web pages require products Adobe must be installed to view.
For example, the following message appears on some Web pages:
«This websight wants to install the following add on: Adobe Flash Player install, Adobe Systems Inc..» If you trust the website and the add-on to install it, click here. "When I click on it and install it, nothing happens! Is there a compatibility issue with 64 bit of Windows 7 and Adobe Flash Player? And is there a way around this problem so that I can view these pages?Adobe Flash Player does not work with the 64 bit version of Internet Explorer 8, please use the 32-bit version. Click Start > all programs > Internet Explorer (one who is not listed as 64-bit).

I recently installed Adobe Flash Player ActiveX 11 - 11.4.402.265 and when I open my Mozilla Firefox browser I get this message flashing on my screen: "Adobe Flash Player 11.4 r402 has stopped working" and then "Windows is checking for a solution"
It flashes several times then stops usually but not always.
It happens every time I try to open a new page.
I solved this problem by uninstalling Adobe Flash Player 11 and install Adobe Flash Player 10.3. However, now my IE browser again wants me to install Adobe Flash Player 11. Although I do not often use my IE browser, I DON'T have to use sometimes. Is there a Firefox 15.0 update to fix this problem?
First of all, the Flash of the IE is totally different than the flash used in Firefox. You can update one without affecting the other.
Now, there is a problem right now with Flash 11.3 and 11.4 in Firefox. Downgraded to 10.3 is an acceptable solution for the moment. Adobe publishes the updates (slowly) that solve the problems, but it is not a matter of time before they are all fixed.
