Bad laptop in support

To anyone:

I have a little a conundrum at the moment. It began with the fact that my laptop can find two strips on my network. So out of curiosity, I did what everyone else did and searched online. And I got the Dell support page to see if my laptop has indeed come with a dual band wireless adapter. Which honestly, I doubt at this point. But anyway, I used the serial number on the bottom of my laptop to find the specs. And it came with the laptop bad. Thinking that I have had typed wrong I used the 'Detect My Device"and once more portable evil come. I know because my laptop... is not a touch screen.

So if anyone can help understand me exactly what version of the computer Inspiron 15 laptop that I use, and whether or not I have a double adapter broadband, it would be very appreciated!

Evo23,

Your system has a Dell Wireless 1703 802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz), who works at 2.4 GHz ONLY.

  • HP officejet 100: printer hp officejet 100 laptop will support Windows CE?

I'm working on Windows CE project.  I need to print with hp officejet 100 via Bluetooth or usb. I don't know if the printer hp officejet 100 laptop will support Windows CE or not. Can someone clarify for me please.

    Hi SureshR,

This OfficeJet 100 was not designed to work with Windows CE, as such. The specifications include Windows XP, Vista and 7.

You you can try the different drivers to see if none of them work. Also check for the built-in drivers in Windows CE. The specifications page points to www.westtek.com for Windows Mobile printing.

  • This laptop will support an ocz vertex 3 series VTX3-25SAT3 - 240 G 240 GB SSD, SATA III 6 GB/s?

    HP Pavilion DV7-4080US, Windows 7, 64-bit

I want to replace the existing 500 GB "d" (5400 RPM) drive with an OCZ 240 GB drive SSD SATA III and must make sure that this laptop will support a SATA III SSD drive?

I am not concerned about the start time that you want to use the SSD for video editing, so I don't anticipate using the SSD instead of the c"" drive.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello

Well, this will speed up the startup time of your machine a lot but for editing video may not help much. In any case the SATA III (or 3) is backward compatible with SATA II (or 2) and SATA I (or 1). You're probably on the price/cost. A little program called PC Wizard will tell you the speed of the disk on your computer controller:

You can download it from the following link:

    Hello

I think you should check the Toshiba Product Selector page
    http://www.Toshiba.EU/innovation/Gen...oduct-selector

On this page, you can search different Toshiba laptop, and you can find your perfect Toshiba laptop.

But in my opinion you should first decide how much money you are able to spend.
Toshiba offers various notebook series; You can buy a bed for business as a series Portege and Tecra notebook, or you can choose a device belonging to the series of satellites. Satellite series is a laptop for all days and home & use more...

    However, the Satellite P50 - B, S50 - B Satellite, Satellite L50 - B, C50 - B Satellite and many still support required display 15.6 ".
Then maybe you can see one of the series mentioned laptop to find the ideal device.

  • My laptop 1983 support Chrome with security patches?

I received an email from Google saying that the platform used on my laptop will not be supported with security patches in the future. What is a problem for me? I have a 1983 (white!) with Mac OS X, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz processor.

You may hear 2003?  Or 2013?  There is no Mac 1983 with Intel chips. The answer to your question is 'no, and Google told you,' but I'm curious to know what you really there.

  • Bad laptop cooling fans

Last year I had a cooling fan replaced because it was vibrations in the month of purchase of the laptop. It took two engineers, a bad part and 4 appointments to get something so simple replaced. It's all with the guarantee on the spot that was supposed to be good.

Then now, fans are vibrations again... it's not the dust or dirt or things like that, it's more along the lines of poor manufacturing. That the fans are spare parts that they will still fall under manufacturer's warranty, even if the laptop is not.

Given to work with service on the spot was such pain is worth bringing this place with Toshiba and sending them to fix the fan and the risk of never seeing my laptop or got my laptop back with more problems than he was expelled with a laptop (Toshiba previously managed to spoil the remote adapter and Toshiba declined a replacement without first taking my computer) laptop with no assurance that I would never get it back!) ?

Is there anyone out there who is happy with a laptop after having expelled to Toshiba?

I put t know which laptop model you have but I didn't notice anything on my Qosmio x 300. I have a year now and at the moment it works OK.
Cooling vents works well, maybe too good because they are a little stronger and it's the only thing I don't like about this laptop.

On the other side until I of good graphics performance for games I don't care about this because most of the time I use the gaming headset.
I'm really sorry to hear you have this kind of problems, but I put t think you can sey in general there is bad part or not. Somehow, I think that it is really unlucky.

Last week I ordered the new Blu - Ray player. After reading a lot of comments positive on this device, I realized that my device has an electrical problem and send it after just one week. No luck I think.

  • Is it my laptop bios support UEFI...? G4-1303au PAVILION

    OPERATING SYSTEM: WINDOWS 7 32-BIT

Fact my g4-1303au pavilion laptop support uefi bios... I want to install win 8 in uefi mode... If not... When HP will modernize my legacy to the UEFI bios bios...

I can finally see the images. Do you have access to BIOS and click on Security options, if they exist?

Your images do not show that. InSyde BIOSes are normally sections of Configuration, security and startup options.

Power button, immediately press the ESC key a few times to display the Start menu and then select F10 for BIOS. F9 is for boot options. Also, there is a screen of Boot options in the BIOS.

  • My HP zv6008cl laptop memory support?

He has fleas of DDR PC2700 512 K, but it will do better?

    Hello:

This is the page for specifications of product for your laptop.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00308221

    Max memory is DDR PC2700 2 x 1 GB.

You can also run the DDR-PC3200, but I do not know if the memory runs at 400 MHz or 333 MHz.

If the PC3200 memory is the same price as the PC2700, you have nothing to lose by recovering.

I like the tool to scan the crucial memory. I recommend you go and see what it reports.

    Dear Sir:

I am currently running Firefox 4.0.1 on my laptop.
    This browser works very well.

By the SSE2/SSE question mentioned above, I would like to determine whether I should download Firefox 5.0.

Please let me know if there is information that you need beyond what is included to the right.

    Thank you

If 4.0.1 works satisfactorily while Firefox 5 should not be a problem, so give it a try.

  • PC HP TS laptop: HP Support Assistant

I don't know if it's his fault, but after I did some automatic Windows Update my sound buttons and the sound no longer works. I then decided to try the audio driver updates that I had turned off in the support area assistant, this is where the real problem started. After that everything to do with function keys and her broken so I did a system restore to which the result was me not being able to log in. I would like to know if it is a virus or if it is an unknown problem with HP.

    Hi @Adam-Williamson.

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

It's a great place to find answers and advice!

You have the best experience in the HP forum, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the HP Forums.

Learn how to post and more

I understand that you upgraded to Windows 10 and after a Windows update, you lost your sound. Then, you installed the audio updates recommended the HP Support Assistant that you had been turned off. So you lost your sound, and the function keys did not work.  You then tried a system restore, but now you can not log on to Windows.

I suggest that if you have a Windows 10 image recovery that you use to perform a recovery.  If you do not then a clean install of Windows 10. Here is the link to get Windows 10, click on "use of the media creation tool" and click "perform a new installation using a USB or DVD"

Please let me know the results.
