Bad new first: this tab is broken down

Since 38 FF, I get this pop-up message, but unfortunately, none of my tabs are closed or crashed.

It also shows this window, I do not even have tabs open (eg. on the new subject: blank page). You this message pop up almost every time when I open a new page.

Please tell me how to disable this message incorrect! It's really annoying!

Well, my computer is not infected.

I uninstalled Firefox and deleted all the files of mozilla.

Using mozbackup just with the Add-ons and the Favorites after reinstalling Firefox, used to help me with this problem.

Fortunately, he helped to solve this problem-accident-tab and slightly pushed my Firefox.

I just updated Firefox constantly in recent years, btw. This could be the cause.

Thanks to the moderator, cor - el, who tried to help out me very quickly with this problem.

  • Sometimes when I click on a tab, instead of simply switch to this tab, a new Firefox window opens, which can be very annoying. How can I stop this?

I have several tabs open. I want to look at one of them and I click on it. Instead of simply switch to this tab, Firefox opens a new window. Very annoying! Why does do this and, more importantly, how to make it stop?

I use Firefox on Ubuntu LTS 14.04 36.0.1.

The current versions of Firefox have a feature called tabs.
You can detach a tab in the current window and open in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.
You can also do this via the context menu of a tab: switch to the new window
You can drag the tab to the tab bar in the original window to cancel this detachment.

I am using Windows XP PRO 32-BIT... I read (and checked) all options but still can't find my last session of navigation of yesterday. I opened a new tab in 'My Favorites', only one tab open, so now, this tab is my "last session"...

I have a lot of files bookmarked...
Previously I always managed to restore by clicking the Session Manager to restore the last session, but the button seems to have disappeared. Please, I'm old and need of (detailed) easy step by step instructions!
I just remembered I have some work early this morning, it worked well then. I went to make breakfast. When I came back, the computer was disconnected and restarted. But I have no idea why.
Maybe something happened? I cannot now get this morning session or session of yesterday, with all the tabs I had open for research...
    Thanks in advance...

The user.js file is not there by default.
It is present than if you or other software had created, so if you can't find it, then it's OK.
Note that Windows hides file .js extension, probably, you see only a user with the type of JScript file.

You can see in the screenshot in this article how the words: support page is supposed to look like and where the button is located in the Application Basics section below the user agent.

    Hi FioMio,

See the error you posted in screenshot when Lightroom can't access the Adobe folder in ~/Library and / library

Please make sure that you have added all the users by clicking on the bottom right "+" in permissions in my previous post.

    Choose go > utilities.

    Double-click disk utility.

Select the volume in the left pane for which you want to repair the permissions.

    Click the first aid tab.

Select the volume that you want to install the Adobe application and then click on repair disk permissions.

Laughing out loud! But if I double-click on it replaces:
    Layout.CSS.image - orientation.enabled; false

Now when I right-click the image and select either "open in new tab" or "open in new window" the image is right-side up!

  • After you disable the new interface to tabs, all new documents are not open in a larger window

    Hello

Yesterday I upgrade my Adobe 11.0.10 Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 15.010.20056 player. The tabs interface was pleasant enough, but there are still some limitations with this features, such as,.

1 > no option to set no maximum. tabs in a single window,

2 > tabs cannot organize, to be moved to a new window and several selected

I want to disable the new interface to tabs via Preferences > General > open documents in the new tab in the same window (not checked), but after you turn off the new tabbed interface, all new documents open after the first document are not open in a maximized window, they always opened in a restored window.

No matter what I do, it keeps - on the opening of the second new pdf in this one, restored windows are the things that I tried to overcome this.

1 > right of the DC open Adobe Acrobat click in the task bar > Adobe Reader DC > right click > properties > run: enlarged - only the first document opened in maximized windows, documents later opened in the restored only, window that too seem to not work when I closed the last document in a restored window. Opening in the same window type is part of the windows operating system, it does all the time, "opens the entire application in the same way that they have been closed, either maximized/restored and the size of Windows too". Only the first one application window is open in this way, rest of the windows open is seems to be not supported by the operating system.

    2 > of this forum discussion https://forums.adobe.com/thread/435552?start=0 & tstart = 0 , I checked for the mentioned, registry keys

Exchange only tried on the third button (the rest has been preset to required values) - "bResizeOnOpen" = dword: 00000001 - restart > no change > reset to its default value

    What to do now...?

    Thanks in advance

  • I can force a link to open it in a non-active tab, rather than on this tab?

For example, if you click on a link and select the "open in a new tab" option, the new tab opens, but is not active. If you click on a normal link that would open up in a new tab, Firefox go to this tab and makes it "active".

    Maybe... This gives a test:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the tabs and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double click on the preference browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground to put the default value false true - line should be "BOLD"

Since there are a number of similar sounding preferences, here is my understanding when they apply:

    • browser.tabs.loadInBackground = > when you open a regular link in a new tab using Ctrl + click (or right click > open in a new tab)

      • default = true, do not have the new active tab
      • In the page Options dialog box, this is controlled by him "when I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" setting.
    • Browser.Tabs.Load InBackground ofdiversion = > when divert you a new window generated by script in a new tab using Ctrl + click, or a page using the link target attribute in a new launcher and divert you a new tab

      • default = false, activate the new tab
    • Browser.Tabs.LoadFavoritesInBackground = > when you load a bookmark in a new tab using Ctrl + click (or right click > open in a new tab)

      • default = false, activate the new tab
  • Is there a way to make the first Firefox tab a tab permanent, white fixed?

I would prefer, as the title suggests, to have my first Firefox tab to be a fixed permanent blank tab. In other words, he would never take the address of the first site I type or click on in the field address, but would act as tab "an anchor."
    Is this possible?

You can set the pref browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab false on the topic: config page to prevent the closure of the last tab to close this window and display a close button if only one tab is open.

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.

  • I can't open new tabs from file - only open a new window or tab strip

For awhile, I was not able to click on a tab plus sign to open a new tab, not even by going to the file menu. I even reset Firefox to my default settings, it sets itself for a short period while today ', then back to the not not to work again! The only time that I can open a new tab is if I am on a site and I right click to open a new tab, if not to open another window, I have to go to file and open a new window, the tab no!

The Ask toolbar is originally only in versions of Firefox 3.6.13 +. Uninstall this extension.

There are a few places to check for the Ask toolbar:

  • New issues of tabs

    Two questions and an observation:
    1. why the new tab icon has been eliminated? When I search I open tabs to keep track of web pages related to this topic, I am doing research. Often, a new topic or question comes to mind and I open a new window with tabs in this topic. So, I used the new tab icon a lot and do not understand why he was eliminated, as far as the request of Fox tabs has been designed to display several tabs, not several windows.
    2. I'm not adverse to trying new ways of doing things, I went to Tools - Options and click on "open new windows in a new tab instead. Does not work. By clicking on the icon of the new window opens a new window not a new tab.
Comment: On screens opening for tabs of the Fox, rather than use a fifth of the screen for the selection of color/rotation/bottom toy, why not give a concise explanation how to use Fox tabs instead. Especially a warning that if you use the tool "recently opened" and click on one of the pages, you will not be able to return to the page where you were before you look at the page history, because history page becomes the current page for the open tab and the arrow does not necessarily return to the page where you were before it. At least I think that's what happened which forced me to reenter the information contained in this form.

Second note. When I downloaded the Firefox update yesterday, I quickly noted the absence of the new tab icon. I followed the links and typed in the comments about the change. However, by pressing the button to submit your comments did nothing. I guess it was an oops and not a message that your feedback is not really wanted.

You can find the button new tab showing as a '+' on the tab bar.

You can open the Customize and drag the new tab, button of the toolbar tabs on another toolbar and it will become a regular tools like the new button bar button tab you have in versions of Firefox 3.

If you would like the button tab at the right end of the tab bar then put a hose to the left of it.

If you click on the new icon of the toolbar window or use Firefox > tab > new window opens so you always open a new window.

How to view the monthly/annual statistics in terms of time past/calories burned, broken down by each individual activity such as run elliptical/outside etc. Y at - it a third party application that can help me to collect and display these data?

    Hello

It is not currently possible to review the data the application integrated in activity or training on this basis. If you want Apple to consider adding this feature, you can suggest here:

    https://www.Apple.com/feedback/watch.html

However, health and fitness data from other sources, iPhone, and Apple Watch are registered and grouped within the health on iPhone app. These data can be exported, which you may find useful to track the cumulative progress and/or analyze your activity more in detail.

IPhone app activity also has a button for sharing (top right of the screen) that allows to share data - including social media, Messages, Mail, Notes, and a printer.

Include third-party applications that can be useful, for example:

    Access to QS

-"Access your HealthKit data in a table so you can Explorer using numbers, Excel, R, or any other tool compatible CSV."

    SpectaRun workouts

-"View from the workouts of your Apple Watch on your iPhone and to export these workouts so you can download them to your favorite online running community."

Data can also be exported directly from the application of the health (Health Data > All - Share at the top button on the right).

Check the descriptions and support resources for third party applications for supported details of import and data analysis features.
