• Problem with the e-mail icon blackBerry Smartphones

  My text messages started showing both text message icon and the icon of e-mail (all). All emails coming through my Blackberry 9320 I can only access once the desktop computer (where of alerts for received text/missed calls / emails shows just under the 'time' at the top of the screen).

  Anyone know what the problem with my camera? and how can I solve this problem?

  Did you do a reboot of the device?

  Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  I just installed an SD card and load music.  There is no icon Media Manager click on my current (4.2.214) Office Manager version.  Suggestions for remedy.

  Try to uninstall the software and put it back.  Make sure that you download a version with the Media Manager.

  * edit that you can also transfer files running on on the device mass storage mode, then go to my computer on your PC.  You'll see a BlackBerry drive, and you can drag and drop files into the appropriate folder there.

  I have a white envalope with an icon for blackberry menu at the top of my backberry where notification is. I open it, but it does not show me a notification.

  Help please.

  It could be a lot of things.

  Click on the Messages icon, then press the menu key and select display folder.  If you scroll through the records one by one, you should be able to locate the message.

  Hi I'm using a bb bold 9780 and my bbm is 5.0.1.45 and when I tried to update, it hangs whenever he finishes the installation. And when I got tired of a battery pull, my bbm icon is missing. No idea how to solve this problem? Could really use some help here cos its pretty impt. Thanks in advance

  I use bb 9780 with OS 6.0. I have a few days back that I updated my Blackberry app World 3.1.0.60 but since then I cannot locate my world the app icon on my home screen.

  I checked my whole bb and even hidden files but its nowhere to be found. It shows in the list of installed applications, but nowhere in the blackberry. I even tried reinstalling several times but still the problem is persistent.

  When I went on the internet, the page could not be displayed, and my storm asked me if I wanted to 'Push' this page, I said yes.  Since I have an icon on the homescreen next when a new message is displayed.  The icon is number 1 and next to him is a little round yellow circle (like the Earth) and there small grid on it.  I can't find how to remove what he begins to annoy me!  Anyone?

• Folder/icon blackBerry Smartphones Yahoo! Mail question

  When you add a Yahoo! Mail account on your BlackBerry (that is if you use Yahoo! Mail), it adds a folder in Yahoo! Mail on your BlackBerry screen (the icon is a folder with an icon of 'Y' purple & white).  I could have sworn that whenever you get new e-mail, folder would have some sort of marking icon showing that the mail was sitting inside, mine is not.  I haven't used my BlackBerry a few months that I was using my iPhone but have now retreated to the BlackBerry.  Anyway if anyone can confirm if the Yahoo! Mail folder on the screen is supposed to reflect the new messages (by image) I would appreciate it.  The only icon I've ever seen is at the top of the screen (the area where will your voicemail icon, etc.).

  I have a yahoo email that I rarely use so I had never even added it to my BB. But I just added so I could see what you see and possibly try to help. When I added the email I got the same icon you described. It's an envelope with the purple Y! This overlap. I myself sent a test email. The phone vibrates and I got a notification at the top of my screen that I get for all emails, but unfortunately, the icon remained unchanged which is quite annoying actually because it distinguishes only the folder that contains the new message. I'm sorry.

• Fake Notification icon blackBerry Smartphones!

  Hello all, I hope someone can help me with this problem. I did some research on this problem, and several others have the same problem, but no solutions.

  First of all, let me give you the basics:

  Info on the device

  Carrier: AT & T

  Info on the model: BlackBerry Bold 9700

  Operating system Version: 5.0

  Apps and free space

  Before you pull the battery: 123949768 bytes

  After battery pull: 124207796 bytes

  A battery pull does not solve my problem.

  Installed Apps: CaptureIt (Version 1.4), crunchSMS (Version 2.15), Media Mall (Version 1.5.29), BlackBerry Messenger (Version 5.0).

  Question

  My "BOLD" shows constantly that I have new messages from BlackBerry Messenger on my homescreen. I closed all my messages and it will not disappear. I tried to send a message to each of my (very annoying) contacts so I could individually close (thinking maybe something went wrong shot when I aired before a message). This problem started a week after I got my phone and two BlackBerrys previous I had done the same thing. Over time the number will continue to increase (with my last phone, I got 138 messages at any given time). The icon still works when I get actually it will only increase the number of new messages.

  

  See if you look at the top of the screen, will see you to it shows that I have 5 BBM messages, however I have no open-ended conversations. Please help me solve this problem.

  It is a relatively old version of OS.  I recommend you update to the latest.  Don't worry the wipe and restore.  Going to happen during the upgrade of the OS.  Here is a link with instructions and download.

  the phone indicates that there is 1 new MSM and MMS message, but there is NOT, I checked the mms and blackberry messenger. called Bell, they told the battery me but no help no, the new message 1 icon is still there. Any idea?

  If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

  Try these options:
  * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
  Messages > saved Messages
  Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
  Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
  * Clean and reload your OS.

  * Clean and reload your OS.
