base newspaper Scientific Calculator

Hi guys,.

I searched online for documentation on the basic button y log in scientific calculator iOS but I could not find.

What is it?

What is the inverse logarithmic function?

If so what base? Base 10, 2 or e?

Thanks for the help.

This isn't an inverse logarithm, it is one logarithm using any other basis as the existing buttons for base 10 or base 2 logarithms.  The "y" is any basis you want to use for the logarithm.

Suppose you want the logarithm of base 4 of the number 12 (i.e. log4 12).  The keystrokes you would use would be:

  • 12
  • Logie
  • 4
  • =

  • Equations of scientific calculator 10 x less power.

They showed me how doing scientific calculations on the Windows Calculator for x 10 "less power", but have a hard time repeating. I remember the keys to be able to perform this function.

    I made (175 x 10 "-9" ") x 65/10 = I remember it came out like 0.0000001138 that works like 11,38 x 10 '-8".

    But it has since been demonstrated otherwise (175x0.000000010) x 65/10 = 0.0000011375 or 11,38 x 10 "-7". "

I don't remember what I did in the first place, or write it, wrote the answer, so when I was shown the second way I know that something is wrong because the response is different in one place.

Although the 10 is still in 9 places, the way the formula is written can cause the equation move one place.

How to enter a formula as (175 x 10 "-9" ") x 65/10 without moving the decimal place me as you can with scientific calculators.

    When I use the first way you--(175 x 10"-9») x 65/10 - I get a response from 0.0000011375, that is 11,375 x 10 ^-7

    When I use your second way-(175x0.000000010) x 65/10 - I get 0.000011375, that is 11,375 x 10 ^-6

They are different because they multiply 175 by different numbers:

    • The first one uses 10 ^-9. What is 10 to the power - 9.
    • The second uses 0.000000010, which is 10 to the power - 8th.

Here are the keystrokes that I used to calculate the first way:

    1 7 5 * 1 9 exp + -* 5 6 / 1 0

    Note that to enter 10 ^-9, you enter 1 9 Exp + -, which is 1 times 10 ^-9.
    If you enter 10 Exp 9 + -, you get 10 times 10 ^-9, or 1 times 10 ^-8.

    Problem using the Windows Calculator

I'll try to find the root square on scientific calculator; 'help' sez press the "square root".  I do NOT see this key...?  What is the problem with me?

    There is no key of square root on the scientific calculator, only on the standard. You must use the x ^ y operation with the second operande.5 for example, 16 [x ^ y]. 5 = 4, or using Inv x ^ y as Inv 16 x ^ y 2 = 4

  • Problem with NOR-DAQmx Base on Scientific Linux 3.4

    Hello everyone.

I'm trying to install the driver OR-DAQmx Base 3.4 on Scientific Linux 6.0, but I got these errors:

On this text said that Scientific Linux 5.4 and 5.5 is supported.

Can anyone help me or 6.0 is not supported?

    Hello decadence,

Thank you for posting.  Your post, it seems that the problem occurred while trying to install NI VISA 5.0.  Unfortunately, the only versions of Linux that are officially supported by our pilots and implemented to date are those listed in the Readme of each product.  In the Readme for NEITHER VISA 5.0, Scientific Linux versions 5.x are supported, but Scientific Linux 6.0 is not in this list, nor in the Readme for DAQmx Base 3.4.  I hope this helps.

  • not useful Windows 7 calculator

I need to do the following calculation

    (2 ^ 28) * (8,192/108) and then convert to hex

But the hexadecimal conversion is in the programmer calculator and the ^ operation is scientific.

And copy number of the programmer calculator scientific calculator does not work, because the programmer calculator does not take into account the decimal point

If I copy the result of to the programmer calculator scientific calculator (20361326440.296296296296296296296)

I have 2036132644029629629 (this is not useful)

instead of 20361326440 (only whole and useful)

IE put 15.8 in the scientific calc, copy in the calc programmer and you get 158. Why don't the programmer calc truncate or round?

In any case, my main complaint is the separation of the different ECUs, some users may not use several calculators which is very annoying.

Again, this is because Hex does not 'decimals' points so the whole number. You cannot set the scientific calculator to round to the nearest integer? If not then don't use it - use anything else! If you find my answer helpful, please click the button "Vote as helpful"! Thank you! My Blog

  • How to check a default calculation in EA

Is there a way to check what your calculation of the default value for a database of BSO? I connect to EAS as an administrator and I right click on a data base and 'Set' > "Calculation of the default" and select a calc script I wrote by default and then click on 'OK '. When I return to check the parameters for the calculation of the default again, unchecked the option box for "Use a calculation script" and I don't see any Visual evidence that the calculation of the default value is set to the calc script, that I chose. I know there is a script MaxL to define the calculation of the default I have used and the results say "Statement executed successfully", but yet when I go into the SD, I see no visual evidence that the calculation of the default is set to the desired calc script as the box "Use a calculation script" is always disabled after running the MaxL Script.

Y at - it a Maxl Script I can use to check what is my default calculation? I couldn't find one.  I'm on Essbase 11.1.2.2

    Hope that was enough information.

I think that your abuse of language, it is that it uses the calculation that you specified as the default Calc. What is the option Calc script use is to copy the calc script selected to be the default Calc. She copies the code in the default calc box. If changes are made to the soruce calc script, they do not updated in the Calc of default. It is a time to copy.  One thing to note when you use something else than a simple calc to be the default calc, it's that if you have a member name in the default calc that changes, you disable the default calc that can prevent the application to start. At startup, the default calc is validated. So if your calc reference abdelkrim member and that you remove the contour, the application does not start until you ix the Calc of default.

  • HP 35S EMULATOR

    To whom it my concern:

On this occasion I need your help. I found myself struggling with the HP 35s (http://www.hp.com/sbso/product/calculators-emulators/scientific-calculator-emulator.html) emulator. It works perfectly, but where is the manual? For example, I don't understand the WINDOW of TOOLS. The other windows:

CALCULATE: save, load, quick save and quick load (save and load what?)

EDIT: screenshot, reset the calculator (reset for what situation?)

Can you please help me with some explanations. A brief guide will be very grateful!

    Thank you in advance, Pedro

    Hello

There is no manual for the emulator itself (as you probably noticed, with aid only the manual for the calculator is available).

    In the FILE:

Save: saves the emualtor (as well as the keyed-in programs) State - ask for a name.

Charge: invited to load everything previously saved state of the emulator (including programs).

Save quickly creates a saved state of the emulator with the name default "quick record".

Fast charge: appears only if a quick record exists, load the existing quick registration

Check the update: check a HP Server for updates of the emulator.

    Exit: exit emulator

    EDIT:

Copy of the screen: a bitmap capture of the screen of the calculator

Given to zero Calculator: does nothing broken =. In an emulator older I have reset the emulator similar to RESET at the back of the real calculator.

    In the TOOL:

    Macros:

Records or re-plays a series of strikes. In the Macro menu, select new and give it a name and a description, and then press the required keys. When you are done, back to Macros and you will be asked to stop recording.

The macro is now visible in the Macro menu, select Play and the keystrokes will be processed. Note: the reading is very slow on my PC.

    Select skin:

Selects the displays for the calculator

    Options:

Skin and macros enabled check boxes determines whether the "Macros" or "Select an envelope" is available in the TOOL menu.

I don't know how the other options.

HP 35s help: opens the calculator manual in PDF reader

  • HP 35s - normal probability function

    Hi all

I am trying to determine if the 35s has an 'automatic' integrated in the prerequisite programs normal probability function.  For anyone who uses Stata, you can type "normal di (value)", and you get a returned probability based on the normal distribution.  Moreover, some people use z tables.  It's beyond my comprehension that a scientific calculator as the s 35 is not such a 'built-in' function, but I could be wrong.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

    See you soon!

No, but it may be user programmed - the manual provides same aready to use the program, see p.16 - 11.

    Why?

The beauty of a programmable calculator, is that rather than try to be everything to everyone (and inevitably be below the mark), it gives you the freedom to add features you want for your personal needs by programming. This may mean setting aside some pre-programmed functions, but leaving plenty of space for the user functions (32 KB is a lot in a non-graphical environment).
