  I too had d same problem but I solved it later on myself.
  Here's how to: -.
  1-make sure you have intel network driver I installed your windows it pc. Download (on any other pc and transfer and install in it) and install it in your pc respective windows 8.   I used the Windows 8 Pro Upgrade on a Windoxs XP pro installation.  Everything works except that the network and sharing Center indicates that the computer is not connected to a network, but it is.  I can files in front on other computers on the network (at home) and I can access the internet.  The active profile is public, although it should be private. I created this to access the homegroup during installation.

  A follow-up for this reading. My problem was apparently caused by the upgrade of XP and usinging Dungeon files and SETTINGS. Although there are very limited items brought back an installation of XP, something is buried somewhere off network connections.

  To solve this problem, Windows 8 has a new feature called reset. This essentially Setup all over again if you choose the option to delete files. You must enter the product key again when you do this. This is a clean install.  I had to update the graphics card drivers, add Media Center back, install HD Homerun Prime, run the Advisor of cable, making the TV configuration and finally got it works as I had expected.

  My FF won't go to the internet after the resumption of sleep in specific situations to my use of power cord. I have Windows 7 on my laptop. I'm using FireFox 36.0.4. Unfortunately, there is no effective solution to this problem. My FF fails to answer some specific situations:
