Problem will be probably related to your batch file.

I suggest you start with a simple bat file.

For example, to write something in a file.

You can add your FDM.bat code?

  • Why my batch file does not run properly in Task Scheduler

My .bat files do not work with Task Scheduler.

For testing purposes, I created a very simple, one line .bat file:

    ECHO this is a test. > TestFile.txt

If I run this file by double-clicking it, it works correctly and created a text with a single line of text document.

But if I create a task to run this file, the text file is NOT created.  For the task history log, said that the task was started and completed successfully but no text file is created.

    Any thoughts?  Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I solved my problem.

It turns out that you can't use the full path to the .bat file in "Program/script" field of the Scheduler of tasks but rather than actual .bat file name, then the rest of the way in the field "start in".

I prepare the USB bootable windows 7 when I pluged in the usb (press any key to continue) do not come and the files load automatically?

    Hello

Have you changed the boot order to be able to boot from USB?

    • When ready to install Windows 7 from USB key:

      • Connect the USB.
      • Restart the computer and continue to touch the F button (see screenshot below) Manager to open the screen Menu starting for the brand and the model of your motherboard or your computer until it does.
      • Select the USB stick to boot from.
      • Start the installation of Windows 7.

And that's how you did your USB key?

  • Writing batch files is not consistent.

    Hello

Could you explain why file written behaving like this batch:

    http://lksoablogs.blogspot.com/2012/01/file-write-in-batches-is-not-consistent.html

    Thank you.

    It's super easy to explain...

the inbound adapter reads two lines and sends a message that contains these two lines...
the outgoing adapter expects two messages to write to a file... so 2 messages * 2 lines per message? 4 lines...

    e round is played.

  • Chapter game will not automatically end

I have a simple to Encore CS3 timeline with three chapters linked correctly to the three buttons in my submenu.  When I run the project to check, it shows no errors. The chapters have numbers of correct chapter in properties; button routing is correct. Everything is rendered.  In preview and burned DVD, there is this problem:

When reading chapter ends, it passes to the next chapter and begins to play rather than be automatically directed to the submenu to choose another chapter to play.  This is not correct.  Please tell me how to solve this problem. Thank you.

If I understand you correctly, you want to select a specific chapter and read the entire chapter, return to the menu at the end of the chapter?

To do this you must use a chapter Playlist.  One for each chapter you want to play individually, the menu of links to this button and make its action end return to the last Menu, or whatever it is you want to create.

Keep the play any button related to the timeline, with its own action to end, play the full video program.

Note that this will work for the DVD, but not for Blu - ray.  Chapter playlists are not included in the specification for the Blu - ray.

  • My video files do not automatically create Thumbnail Images

How can I get my files video back to generate thumbnail images? At the moment only my MKV files are generating of thumbnails, but regarding my AVI, MP4 files, WMV and other files like those, they are just showing the default image of windows media database. And also is it possible to do it without using a third-party codec pack because I think that's the reason why it happened in the first place, I've been using Divx 7 for Windows.

    Hi Bryshon89,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

Go to Windows Explorer and the menu bar, click Tools and then click folder options.

Click the view tab and make sure that the option "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is unchecked.

You can also try to create a new user account and check.

To do this, please go to Control Panel -> view by: category -> Add or remove user accounts -> create a new account. Please see if the problem occurs in this user account. If this isn't the case, we may transfer personal files to this account to solve the problem.

If it works in a new user account, then you will need to fix the corrupted user profile. You can visit this link for the steps:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/fix-a-corrupted-user-profile

To generate thumbnails of your media, you can also download and install a third-party codec pack on your computer. Search using your search engine preferred for more information.

NOTE: Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be resolved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

    Kind regards

  • How can I change the settings in Acrobat 9 if my files are not automatically (SECURITY)?

Even when I save a completely new pdf, he always says automatically (SECURE) at the top and I need to turn this option off so I can put in my own passwords to secure the document. It doesn't let me change the password because I have no idea what the password is in the first place because it does it automatically.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Loyalty protect documents, you can ask them for the unprotected versions.

  • Windows 7 and I have a batch file to copy files from 1 computer to another. It works fine alone, but when I put it to run in the Task Scheduler it shows it ends successfully, but nothing is happening

I am running Windows 7 and I have a batch file to copy files from 1 computer to another.  It works fine alone, but when I put it to run in the Task Scheduler it shows it ends successfully, but nothing is happening.  None of the files are copied, and the control box does not appear.  Any ideas?

Run a batch file in Task Scheduler

    Hello ITGIRL17,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

Configure your task under your administrator account.
Then go to the folder with the batch file and ADD on control for the folder administrator permissions and each of the files in batches.
If the batch files write data, then the target for the task should ALSO have all explicit permissions.
Now try to run the Task Scheduler task.

Also check the information from the following link and look specifically at Brian Vandemark Sommaire steps on 2 September.

I hope that this information will help resolve your batch file does not problem.

  • Batch files are running very slow

Original title: batch files do not work!
Recently, whenever I try to run a .bat (batch file) it will slow down my computer until she reached the point where I can ONLY move the cursor. If I'm lucky I can sometimes get it to open but it doesn't do anything and once again I have to force reboot to get my computer to respond. If I open CMD directly and type in that what it is supposed to do manually will work. I need to be able to run batch files for some programs I run. I can not even "start iexplore.exe" as a batchfile to run. If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated. Now I need to run batch files on my old laptop that can barely run and they take FOREVER. Thanks for the help!

  • MS-DOS batch file (* .bat) ceased to run completely

Recently, I met a problem with an old, old MS-DOS batch file.  All of a sudden, while trying to run in that the file has been opened by Notepad edit mode.  (???)  Investigation revealed that the default program for the *.bat files Notepad!  So, I changed the default to "Windows shell".  This has solved the problem of the notebook, but now presented another problem.  The batch file will not run completely.   The steps in the command file are: cd\ cd\dBASE chrmenu dBase III.  He runs the two cd\ but does not program dbase RL.  This program was written when way back and worked very well under Windows, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows XP and even Windows 7 (32-bit Home Premium).  Now, all of a sudden, it's a failure.  I touched base with MS Tech twice with no luck.  Any ideas?

You must restore your file associations for .bat files.

Try the solution for files .bat on this page:

    Hello

To respond to your request, you must enter the administrator password to access this command file.
    Instructions for Windows 7
In order to run as administrator, create a shortcut to the batch file.
    1. right click on the batch file, then click on copy
    2. navigate to the location where you the shortcut
    3. right click on the background of the directory
    4. select Paste shortcut

Then, you can set the shortcut to run as Administrator:
    1. right click on the shortcut
    2. Select Properties
    3. in the shortcut tab, click Advanced
    4. check the box "Run as Administrator"
    5. click on OK, OK
Now when you double-click the shortcut it will ask for confirmation UAC and then run as an administrator (which as I said above is different than running under an account in the administrator group)

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows 7 keeps looping in my batch files

I recently bought a new computer and Windows 7 came over her.  I like it so far.  I just have a problem.  I can't run batch files.

If I open the command prompt and type:

    stop s f

everything works fine.  I gives me a notice that my computer shuts down in less than a minute.  But I put exactly the same inside a file, I named "shutdown.bat" command prompt appears and shows exactly what I typed, skip a line, then it displays again and again and again and again...

So I am confused.  I've been reading about people having problems with batch files in Windows 7, but my problem seems completely different from theirs.

    Now all I know is:

    • command prompt will still receive the shutdown command
    • My batch file run when double click
    • contents of the batch file will not run

    If anyone can help?

It is a classic case of the dog bites his tail. When you put the command

    stop s f

in your batch file then this command executes the batch itself rather than shutdown.exe, as shutdown.bat is located in the current folder! There are several ways to solve this problem, but the safest is to avoid at all costs to name your batch file identical to a system file. Rename it to MyShutdown.bat and your problem will be solved.

  • Test 13 elements is not automatically decompress or start

Just downloaded 13 items in a folder on the desktop of my PC. The huge, 1.7 GB file is not automatically decompressed or started. What should do?

Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm now trying the second method that Adobe invites you to use if you have problems with Adobe Download Wizard that I used for my first two attempts. Adobe says the trial version should autostart and a shortcut should appear, but that has not happened. I'm a little worried to download another program; I have no idea if sourceforge is safe to use. I'll see what happens with my third attempt; There is 'only' 1 hour and 10 minutes remaining. I used the program complete Photoshop for more than 14 years, but this $* & ^ # experience with Adobe isn't exactly fall them with me.

The second method seems to work!
