Probably there is debris and dust in the decision-making of the lightning.  Serve with compressed gas canned (NEVER orally).  If this doesn't help, try electronic contact cleaner has a q - Tip.  Finally, take it to Apple.

    Hello

Apple recommends charging your iPhone using:

    • A real Apple 30-pin USB Cable or a certified by Apple (iPhone / IFM) cable from third parties.
    • A compatible IFM or authentic Apple USB power adapter.
  • MS A30 - battery charging when I plug in the power cable

    Hello

I'm having some problems with (I think) on my A30 power management utility. When I am running on battery power and I plug in the power cable, the battery continues to discharge even if the laptop 'knows' that it runs on the power grid (ie the utility says "current generator: alternating current.") "Online, discharges: 82%. Strangely, if I put the laptop in mode 'sleep', then resume, she goes back to normal (i.e. working on current alternative, the battery charges).

It is true, I think that this began after I installed "PC Pitstop optimize Scan" www.pcpitstop.com (please, not conferences - I used a couple of their public services before and they were very good, so I thought it would be too much), so I guess it's some sort of configuration problem, but I have no idea where to go from here. I went through all the options on the power management utility, but they all look sensitive. Any ideas (other than do not install software stupid, doubtful)?

    Kenny

    Hi Kenny,

I experienced this behavior on my A30 where the system says it works on current alternative, but still drains the battery and stops eventually.

In my case the problem has proved to be a loose DC Jack that sometimes cuts off contact with the socket on the back of the laptop. This momentary loss of power DC seems to provoke the power management utility switch to battery power, even though the DC power is restored. The only way out of this situation is to Hibernate / restarting the laptop.

I think that it is a problem with the power supply subsystem in the laptop that does not react properly when it encounters a momentary loss of DC. Then the Toshiba power management utility is no longer responds correctly and switches to the battery power.

My only solution to this was to anchor the DC cable to the back of my A30 so that there is now no chance of the plug DC moving in its socket. This has proved to be very effective for my A30 and I've had no recurrence of the problem.

  • Battery charging problem

My iPhone 5s has recently had a charging problem. Got off the phone with about 18% battery life left but when I plugged in to a charger it came back to life and showed 18%. However, with the charger plugged in now never charged iPhone or it does so very slowly. He fell to 16% and stayed there for about 2 hours. Eventually, he started to decline while still connected to the charger until it was empty and closed. I then connected on two different Chargers and he wouldn't return. I left him in charge all night and he was still dead in the morning.

I had subsequently replace the battery and the charge was 34%. I decided to run low before the additional load as it was a new battery and better empty before recharging. However, the loading has become incredibly slow. I managed to load of 5% to 30% in a few hours, and then he stayed on 30% for 2 hours while I backed up things on my Mac and iCloud. I then continued the charge during the night and in the space of 10 hours, that she went from 30% to 95%.

Why so slow taxation? I use an Apple USB with a new battery. My software is updated to January 27, 2016. Could there be a problem with the loading port, event, although she acknowledges the Chargers whenever they are connected.

  • Satellite 1130 battery charge problem

Hi, just joined this site. I have a Satellite 1130 and seem to have a battery charging problem. Every so often, without regular pattern or a set of events to help the machine starts beeping and the Red charge blinks, as if the battery charge runs out, it is, but it happens when the charger is plugged - green power light shows that it is connected, but it is not the battery. The only solution I found is to turn the power off, disconnect the battery and back again. Then everything works until the next time.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

It is possible that there is a problem of electronic power supply. If the power supply microcontroller detects an error lamp DC IN sends a code flashing (8-bit error code). Can you please check it if the led blinks 8 times sending the code?

You can try to contact the Service partner, explain the problem and I'm sure they can give you a clear explanation.

  • Problem of Satellite A200 - 28 p/battery charger

    Hello

I had a power problem with my battery charger for a while sometimes it would charge when plugged in and others would not, so if I removed the charger to move the laptop it was a bet of 50 / 50 as to whether it would be instantly turn off or not.

This was not too much a problem as the laptop is not moved too often, but I recently returned home to find my charger did not work at all and the cell phone was off.

I managed to get hold of a replacement charger just to test it and I found that when it is plugged, flashing blue light which is usually strong watch the charger is plugged, and the times he has stayed solid and allowed me to boot up the laptop lasted almost a minute at best before shutting down completely not even enough time to get transfer important documents I have there.

Is buying a new battery is going to fix this, or is the problem more likely to be something inside the laptop to be replaced?

    Hello

I doubt that buy a new battery would solve your problem.
    Why?
Because the laptop should also work correctly using only the AC adapter.
So even if the battery is defective or dead, it should be possible to use the laptop connected to the network.

The laptop has a number of other power resources, including a smart power battery clock real time and these resources are closely linked and one could affect apparent power problems.

If the DC IN is blue, this means that the AC adapter is connected properly and the power supply correctly. If this is not the case, the adapter may be faulty or there is a problem with the electronic power supply on the motherboard.

So in this case, the power adapter must be tested if you are sure that the adapter is working properly, then there must be a problem with the motherboard to 100%.

  • kernel_task and temperature of close to battery charger problem

    Hello

I have a Macbook Pro 13 "2011 with El Capitan (10.11.1) start installed.

Some time ago I started to have problems with the device. KernelTask would go up to several hundred or even thousands would rise percent utilization of the CPU and fans. It seems to be a workaround, as described here:

    948 http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/How-to-solve-kernel_task-High-CPU-usage.1706.

    I quote from this thread:

' 1. go about this mac under the Apple in the top left and then click more information.

    2. click on the system report

    3. take note of what he said after the model identifier

    4. go in your master drive - system - library-Extensions - IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext - table of contents - Plugins - ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.kext - content - resources - find the name in step 3 and move it to a folder that you can find again if needed.

    3. reboot and you're done.

I did this and the Macbook is still usable. But the fans are very high, the majority of the time and it's always a bit slow.

I used a program to see the temperatures, the sensors detect. Everything seems normal except "proximity to battery charger": 127 ° C!

Anyone know what this means and what we can do about it?

Consider the possibility of a conflict of third party software.  You can get an idea of what is running on your computer via EtreCheck.

  • X120e Battery Charge problem

    Hello

I bought my x120e about a month ago and it's been great since, but recently I had problems with the battery. When I charge the battery to 100% and then unplug the power adapter, the battery is fine for an hour or two, and load will decrease to a normal and regular rhythm (indicated by the percentage). However, when the battery is at 75-80%, then he jumps abruptly up to 10%, and I get a message that I have to charge the cell phone or turn it off. When I connect and start loading again, the battery charges at a normal speed of about 10 to 40%, but the same thing happens and it jumps up to 100%, saying it is fully charged. Generally, I would be happy with such a fast charge, but in this case the battery is not really full as soon, he dies suddenly after that I have unplug the adapter. Even if I let it continue loading at 100%, the same thing happens.

So, I was wondering if I could do something to fix this on my own, or if I should send it just come back on the one year warranty. Please tell me if I did not know by describing the problem and thanks for any help/suggestions!

I just wanted to post an update. I thought that my explanation of my problem of battery gave a negative perception of the ThinkPad x120e and lenovo in general, but I called the customer service of lenovo today and after 15 minutes, the representative has verified the problem (battery was indeed defective) and sent a new battery in my house. Overall, I am very satisfied, and I think that this problem of battery was only an isolated case. The battery is supposed to come in 2 days!

Model name 250410U Description ThinkPad Advanced Mini Dock with U.S./Canada/LA cord

Above is the name of the model and description of my docking station for my new T500. I recently had the T500 during his first trip of the road since the purchase. On my return, I discovered two things:

    1. the T500 will not start when I connect to the docking station and then turn it on. It does not even try to access the HD. It sits right on the Welcome screen. If I push the blue ThinkVantage button, nothing happens. However, if I leave the T500 to start so that undocked, then place it on the docking station, it works fine with one exception...

    2. my battery does not load while on the docking station, but will charge when connected via its own power supply. I tried to do the reset of battery meter, but it did not do anything.

Have I not the wrong dock? The seller assured me it was compatible. If it is not the right one, you know that I need?

    Thanks for the help.

Your question on reproducing the restart got me thinking to see also if the battery charge always not moored. He wouldn't. I removed the battery and clean the son with the air canned and put it back into the laptop. It started to load immediately while not anchored. When I rooted the laptop, continuous load. I then re-tested the ability to start then only docked and was able to reproduce successfully.

Thanks for the help. Sorry, that was just some kind of anomaly that I attributed by mistake to the docking station.

  • Can I fast charge an iPhone Plus seven with the iPad higher amperage charger

I have an iPhone 6 more and it can be loaded more quickly using the iPad to the higher amperage charger (this was not true for the iPhone 6).

I have an iPhone Plus seven on order and want to know

one, I can charge the iPad charger?

    b. If it loads faster than with the provided charger?

According to the specification on power adapter USB Apple 12W news

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/product/MD836LL/A/Apple-12W-USB-power-adapter

It is compatible with most of the iPhones leave soon enough, until the recent series of iPhone 7

and is also compatible with the iPod and iPad models. See the + toggle to open/view

These product lists, this adapter can be used with that.

Because of the available cables to adapt this to other models, it is backward compatible.

However, the adapter for iPhone out below correspond to the request of the iPhone; While

This adaptor 12W can do more. The device connected to the adapter would determine

what the total capacity available can be consumed. But you cannot force-feed a

more powerful device designed for, so the idea of sharing the power adapter is

a fine; but don't force a load more faster/more that the unit is determined in advance of use.

    Example: An iPhone 6 uses a 1 to 5W charger, & is compatible with 12W 2. 1 a charger.

The device limits what he can use. Some may load faster, within the limits set by the design.

And the cable (if done for power transmission) should not be a problem. The entrance

power supply for an iPhone more large 7 plug can be such as a charger 29W (for example, MacBook)

USB - C) can be used with the appropriate adapter. The device should be a factor limiting.

I have background App refresh disabled - the scale of the system. However, the Firefox application has managed to get a huge 8.6 hours of substantive activity App Refresh... and eat an important piece of my battery charge in the process. He has used more battery than the Safari app, even if I used just the Firefox App Firefox does NOT respect (and iOS is obviously not properly apply) the updating of the background App setting.

The Firefox application won a quick deletion of my iPhone. I can give him a second chance in the future, when Apple and Mozilla had the chance to solve this fundamental problem App update.

Attached are two screenshots. The first is my screen background App update, which shows that I have background App refresh disabled in its entirety and the second, my main screen of the battery, which shows the excessive amount of the battery used by "Background App refresh." Firefox is a flagrant violation in the Protocol of the battery by the Firefox app... and unfortunately, iOS has allowed it to happen.

I am very pleased to announce that the issue of excessive background use I had experienced with a previous version of Firefox for iOS is part of Firefox version 1.2! I now use the normal battery with little or no background activity. I am very pleased and I intend to continue to use Firefox on iOS regularly.
