Battery drains quickly

Hello

Please help me...

I bought this replacement (lithium ion) battery for my Ideapad Z460. It's 6-cell, but he gives a copy of backup of only 1 h 30 min. He charges to 100%, too fast and drains too quickly. But the State of battery is seem to be correct.

Please suggest a solution. o I need to install a software to develop the backup battery?

Thank you

Anisha

Hi Sarah,.

Try reinstalling the management of energy and look for the question.

    Hello

My problem is exactly the same as the title. My iPhone 4S warms up quickly, turn it off and after I turn the iPhone, the battery drains quickly and the iPhone will turn off after 5 minutes. iPhone turns off again and again until I put the iPhone on the charger. It is bad because I like to play games like Pokémon GO. But after 10 minutes of play, the iPhone starts heating (and of course delay).

Things I've tried: (and didn't work)

The apps I use no fence. (I close applications once I stop playing)

Turn off location Services. (Enabled only when I'm with apps like GPS...)

    Reduce the brightness

I will be grateful for any kind of help.

Welcome to Apple Support communities, Krystof11cze.

It seems that you encounter problems with your iPhone 4S on iOS 9.2.1 with heating, battery draining and stopping. Good job on the steps you tried as I would have recommended those as well. I will do my best to help!

    1. backup of your iOS device - because I have erase you your iPhone completely, it is strongly recommended that you will lose your data if you do not.

    2. restore your device to factory settings - using the settings on your iPhone will only erase your personal data. You will need to let iTunes erase the iOS version installed a new clean copy can take place.

3 test the question - the first time through, set up your iPhone as a new iPhone when it asks. It's just temporary. You can connect to iTunes and App Store and iCloud and also download some of your applications. Test for problems you encounter. If your iPhone's battery life is improved, follow the next step.

    4. restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup

    Take care!

  • Watch the battery draining quickly from ios3 in update

Since the new watch iOS 3 update on my Apple Watch, my battery drains very quickly.  I don't have a lot of notifications, I've changed my face color to be just white, my activity level is the same as what it was before the update (30 minutes of work per day - using my watch).  More tips on preserving my battery?

I have the same problem. I noticed in the usage statistics, it seems that the watch is not going into standby mode when the screen is off. I don't understand how to solve this problem yet. My guess is that it will be a software update to fix it.

  • After the upgrade to iOS 9.2, I have no service and my battery drains quickly

I have an iPhone 6. I live in England.

I have upgraded to iOS 9.2 two days ago and I saw two problems since:

    1. I can not get any mobile service. I see the 'no. Service' at the top left of the home screen when I try to search for the service. A Wi - fi connection still works fine. I turned my phone off and on again, and while it does not find service briefly, it goes quickly back to 'No Service'. I tried to enter the Mobile Carrier settings area and deactivate the options, turn it back on. Nothing has worked.
    2. My battery drains very quickly. It is 14:12 in the afternoon and I currently have 29% of battery. Usually I didn't have come down below 60% when I get home at 5 pm, because I do not use my phone very strongly. The Gmail application took 35 percent of my independence despite spending only 9 minutes on screen. My phone is hotter that it would normally be.

I have heard that when a mobile phone search service repeatedly, it uses a lot of battery. This phone has been updated with the airplane Mode + Wi - fi since this morning - I did have this service at any time you are looking for today.

People have recommended reset my settings, but I don't know what this will do to my phone, so I didn't, as whenever someone suggests it, it does not work for the afflicted person.

Is there anywhere I can check the reports of bugs with the 9.2 release? I feel like there is a problem with it, but I don't see anything on the internet to suggest that.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones battery drains quickly

    Hello everyone.

One of our users has a Bold 9780 (OS 6.0.0.570 platform 6.6.0.212, which is the last of our carrier), and since a few weeks ago, it drains the battery very quickly. I mean, he cannot even stay alive for six hours in a State of absolute rest.

Very ofter the bb stucks with black, loading clock.

We tried the following solutions, and nobody has succeeded:

    • changed three different devices
    • the fourth device has been used successfully to another person, but with the end user, it has the usual problem
    • wiped a single device and put a new firmware
    • removed applications
    • the BES deleted account and then recreated
    • disabled the "cleaner memory" option - it has never been activated, however, but I saw this trick in the forums
    • Charger AC/DC has changed
    • change of SIM card
    • changed 3 batteries

I must say that I used his camera today, and with my account it behaves properly. My bb was given, as a test, to that person and it drains the battery.

I don't know what to do or what to try, because I changed everything I could. You have no idea, please?

    Thank you!

Got the fix: he was the module phone consuming a lot of CPU because of a damaged database. Complete the thread here.

  • high-capacity HP TES 15uo11dx battery drains quickly

I did everything as stated did a test of the battery and that pass, I know it's a 3 cell battery as I bought it just like 5 days ago, I don't think the battery is ruined in so little time, I have no apps running in the background is already me powersaving mode

  • Walkman NWZ-E354 battery drains quickly

I don't know what is happening, but my walkman has decided that it will charge is no longer the battery correctly. That said the maual, it should take about 6 hours to fully recharge and that worked when I first got the unit out of the box. But now, I can leave it plugged into my laptop for days - it never reaches a full charge, and it takes after maybe an hour. The bar of battery life will go from 3/4 full of glitter in 20 minutes.

As far as I know, the product is properly connected to the computer (it will say: 'do not disconnect' and then 'the player can not work"but will show the life of the battery load bar). Simply there are not charged and equally fast drains with audio as it does with the video.

I think I might have to send my camera in to Sony to do fix? I do not know because I think the NWZ-E354 is a discontinued model. But I would like to ask what I should do from here to get the battery works again. This unit was bought new and I had maybe six months. It worked perfectly in October (there has been a long journey and it lasted me the entire 6 hours without dying), and I used it regularly until he began to lose his load so fast.

    You are welcome.

  • [Carbon X 1] Battery drains quickly

    Hi all

I'll start with the Technical Details of my laptop:

    • Carbon Lenovo X 1
    • Bought about 2 months ago (new) from a dealer in the United States
    • i5 3rd generation @ 1.7 GHz
    • 4 GB of DDR3 memory (soldered to the motherboard)
    • 128 GB SSD (Samsung), must be SATA III (6 GB/s) I guess
    • Windows 8 Pro x 64

    In addition:

    • + 40 GB of free space on the hard disk
    • Original charger used, always
    • Laptop was never "opened" (IE with screws)
    • device used mainly to text editing, navigation, and Photoshop
    • Applications/information services: Apple iTunes, Dropbox, Lenovo mouse/trackpad service and startup utilities services like Google Update, update Java, Adobe Reader Speedlaunch
    • I keep my laptop most of the time, I simply put my computer in sleep mode (in other words: I close the lid of the laptop)
    • I play games on this laptop, but of course I don't expect the battery to last several hours by. The battery runs out quickly that in "normal" situations - games, video editing, and a lot of Photoshop does not matter of course.
    • Connected to the internet all the time (not 3G, WiFi only)
    • Bluetooth disabled.

Now, let me explain the situation.

The laptop is fully loaded with the original charger. Power management is set to Power Saver (image). Brightness is located in approximately 60% of the maximum according to the build in Windows 8 indicator.

Applications that are open are Google Chrome (with 5 tot 15 tablets most of the time), Outlook, Dropbox and a metro apps (weather or the app store).

    (enlarged, click here)

As you can read, no intensive use. The CPU is stable between tot 5% 20% and the RAM is from 40% to 70%.

Do not hesitate to ask technical questions, I should be able to respond as I am a student of Bachelor on the inside.

Thank you for your help in this matter. Feel free to add your own experiences or personal advice.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones constantly updated something since the last 2 days & battery drains quickly

I have been using BB Curve 8520 over 2 years now and in the last few days my phone just become useless. Need me a lot of time to do something, the timer is always on the screen, it warms up and the battery lasts only an hour or two. It started overheating yesterday and it is constantly "work" even when doing nothing. It takes like 2 minutes to get the screen of my password and then another minute to typing to thre. I tried battery pulls delete apps I use often etc and nothing seems to fix... I am really frustrated with this phone. More about the mixture is evacuated quickly and must be kept permanently on the load. It seems that there is an update, which is activated in the last 2 days, but I couldn't find anything which is open from my apps or anything.

Waiting for a quick help to solve this. Thank you...

  • iPhone 6s is getting hot and the battery drains quickly

So I got problems with my battery 6 s for some time (for example, it will be 28 percent die suddenly, then I'll plug and it will light up all right to 33% or something). Today, however, my battery is increased from 100% to 64% in 90 minutes of intermittent use and started to get really hot even through the case. I restarted and it says: 74%, a later minute back to 68%. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix I can do, or should I take in?

Based on your post what certainly looks like a bad battery. I advise you to take the device to Apple. They can run diagnostics and if the battery is in fact wrong, to date, the 6s is still under warranty and Apple will replace the battery free of charge.
