Battery facts

Anyone know who makes HP batteries?

I want to read some books or other documents of a company who makes these batteries that says how long they last, part numbers, etc.

Can't seem to find a. Anyone at HP have a link to this info?

I'm not interested in estimates of members of the forum, I want a source.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I'll post everything that I find too.

I would like to read the same thing. I suspect (as a 'hero of the Forum' - no offense taken) that you will find the answer to most of your questions is "it depends." This comes a battery dispenser and seems quite instructive:

http://www.g-batteryshop.com/battery_tips/2010/09/HP-laptop-battery-basics-and-battery-cycle-life-and-aging/

Lithium-ion batteries are controlled by a chip inside the battery that limit cycles in order to avoid a risk of fire. Old cells Li - ion are known to sometimes ignite so manufacturers limit how long can last with a counter of cycles inside the battery. Some laptop manufacturers have a battery control program that will allow you to read this information (Lenovo, for example).

Fact 42mm Watch have a larger battery than the smallest watch?

    Hello

The 42mm Apple Watch is usually longer than the 38mm model.

In tests using the 38mm Apple Watch, Apple has made 18 hours of battery life with the next use: 90 times, 90 notifications, 45 minutes of usage of the app and a workout of 30 minutes with Apple Watch through Bluetooth music playback, all checks during 18 hours.

  • Fact ' slide to power on "drain the battery? / How to turn it off.

Just, I got my W520 and noticed that the fingerprint sensor has failed in this setting (after I turn off the led is lit green). How fast did it drain the battery? It is an interesting possibility, but at least I can connect to the password of the bios is nothing more than a gimick I can say.

    -FDP

No need to go into bios. Open "Thinkvantage fingerprint software"-> settings-> authentication (first tab), under the "safety walk", uncheck the "footprint user digital instead of the power button

  • Subject of the battery in the new update

    Hello everyone

I want to ask about the battery in the new update

I now have the update on my phone 6s but I noticed that the battery run off more quickly than in the previous update

I used the phone every day and the battery last about 5 h 30 but now last 4 hours

I hope you can me hel

    Thank you

Yes there is a problem with ios 10 and 6 s iphone, apparently the 6s more users do not have this problem on the contrary the last update was better for them, battery last more I read.

What can I tell you? I'm pretty bored too, in fact I intend now perform a downgrade of ios 9.3.5. I don't know if he is going to end well if...

But definitely ios 10.0.1 does not apply to me with all these battery problems, whenever I have action now feels as if it was a 1% less than the battery well enough.

I also read that 10.1 unveiled today that a new beta has been for developers, problems, this is the test As just started, we can expect minimum 2 more weeks for those who think to emerge officially much too long.

  • MacBook, lose memory and battery quickly

Recently, I got a popup saying that the startup of my Macbook Pro disk was almost full. I did a lot of cleanup, but I always notice. My computer is losing battery really fast, going from 100% to 65% in less than an hour. I've cleaned enough 110 GB free space, I reset the PRAM and I downloaded an update software, just in case, but I don't see any change at all. In fact, every time I restart it says I have 110 GB of free space, but that number falls slowly more I use my laptop, even if I haven't opened. What should I do?

I had this same problem. Have you tried to check your battery life? So I went to the store Apple to fix mine was in a critical situation. Because I do not have the AppleCare I had to pay a certain amount of money to get my battery replaced. Everything is good now.

    Good luck.

  • battery after 9.3.4 problems updating iPhone 5s

Hi all! I'm having a serious problem of battery since the last update, I did it on my iPhone 5 s 32GB.

I'm not on the device and drains the battery in just a few hours! It's also very hot most of the time.

    Does anyone else know this?

I tried to kill all the apps that seem to eat most of the battery (Whatsapp, Chrome, music), also I tried to go to Low Power Mode, airplane Mode and as a last resort, restore the phone. Nothing seems to work!

I'm worried that it will not return to normal.

Also, you should know I bought it on the United Kingdom and now that I live in Argentina, and there is no official Customer Service for iPhone here! So, this forum is my only hope...

    Appreciate any help!

    Thank you!

    S

When you go to settings/battery, you can see that either the app uses the most energy. Sometimes an update will cause an app to misbehave; It is not something to do with the version that you updated, just the fact that you updated.

And killing apps in quick launch screen usually will not solve a battery with an application problem, because the problem is in the app data, not the application itself. And when restart you the app it gets the same data.

Try to restore the iOS on the phone via iTunes.

  • iPhone 6 more battery problems?

I got my iPhone 32 gb gray space 6, with for about a year 1/2 now. It worked perfectly for 1.5 years, but now there seems to be a problem. My iPhone battery life will increase from 3% (not connected) to 15% while it is plugged instantly. Then when it is removed say 15 minutes later the dough goes straight back to 2,1,4,3%. And when my phone is charged a good amount as 75% of its battery life runs out pretty quickly. About 45 minutes if you are on instagram. My family has had the same problem and its diagnosis of apple was a manufacturing error. It was just like my situation, everything's fine until the battery starts to spoil. The Apple store was going to give him a replacement, but she told them that they had purchased a new battery to put inside. That did not work for them. But the store said that they could not provide a replacement due to the fact that the iPhone had been "worked on". If I receive a replacement? I have to pay something? They could send me a replacement?

According to Apple, only Apple or Apple authorized service providers are allowed to maintain the phone, without losing any warranty or out-of-warranty service options, including the replacement of the battery or the screen.

As to your question, visit an Apple Retail Store or an authorized service provider would be the quickest way to find out if your battery needs to be replaced after 1.5 years. According to the use of the phone, it may be necessary.

But if they do not find a battery fault, you will have to pay for the new battery.

You can also contact Apple Support for that, they can also test your battery online. However, shipping and replacing the battery may take longer to make an appointment at the Apple Store.

    Launch a service request

Find an Apple authorized service provider

Make an appointment at the Apple Store

  • While playing battery life

Hello this is my first post on the forums of apple.

I recently read on the cycles of the battery the MacBook have, mine is a macbook pro 13 iris early 2015 and 224 cycles of 1000 , I used and I got it over a year now (in September).

I try to load it only when its 28-34% battery and upwards to 80-100% while using it for the life of it extends a little more because I need this computer for my university studies and the future because if I need to be at full capacity at least another 5 years if not more.

Now, here's the deal... I like to play bu video games, I have no money for calculates more so I play very often on the MacBook Pro League of Legends, Spiral Knights, etc. This means that I have to load finally each 1 and 1/2 or 2 games and I really play at least 3 to 5 games every day so that means at least 2 to 3 cycles my battery daily and its quite a lot.

I have not had any problems on other laptops windows because what I did was remove the battery and use it as a desktop pc and use only the battery whenever I need them.

So my question is How can I stop killing of my battery without having to stop playing since my killing only hobby in time I had other than drawing.

I leave it charge while I continue to play all the time?

Should I keep Plug and unpuggling energy as now?

Is it possible to "switch off" the battery and using only the energy clogged?

If I keep this track how much time you thing I'll have a good strong battery and how much is a new one for this model?

    Any other recommendations?

Thanks for reading and leaving your comments

Disconnect the battery isn't easy on a MBP of the retina.  Not only is it embarrassing to do, when the OS x detects that a battery is not available, it will speed up the CPU, so performance is reduced.  This will have a negative performance on the game application.

My advice is if games must be played, use your MBP you and accept the fact that a spare battery will be necessary as soon as possible.

    Ciao.

  • iPhone 6s is getting hot and the battery drains quickly

So I got problems with my battery 6 s for some time (for example, it will be 28 percent die suddenly, then I'll plug and it will light up all right to 33% or something). Today, however, my battery is increased from 100% to 64% in 90 minutes of intermittent use and started to get really hot even through the case. I restarted and it says: 74%, a later minute back to 68%. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix I can do, or should I take in?

Based on your post what certainly looks like a bad battery. I advise you to take the device to Apple. They can run diagnostics and if the battery is in fact wrong, to date, the 6s is still under warranty and Apple will replace the battery free of charge.

  • Why the battery fully charged but used for 5 minutes will be disabled it?

    Hello

In fact I use iPad Air for 2 and a half years, but already had battery problem.i went to the premium Center in Penang service ask about it. Just give them the answer because the warranty is already so just may 1 to 1 change but must load RM1300 to change. Some can no longer repair. I feel unworthy because even if I bought the Sony Xperia Acro S used more than iPad but still better than the iPad battery. All my friends said that rarely face this kind of problem. How I'm going to support again once because of battery problem can't fix, and change must pay for the new ipad.

    Hello

Because the warranty is over, you can buy one off replacement warranty

But you have to pay part of the cost.

You must make an appointment on apple store.

    See you soon

    Brian

  • iPhone 4s, new battery

Never before an iPhone, but has an iPad Mini 2 and a 3rd generation iPod. After receipt of old iPhone 4s, 32g, AT & T family member activate. The latest version of the software (iOS 9.3.2). Then picked up at the shop I-left falling for a new installation of the battery. On the way back, battery to 62% in 20 minute drive home. I put on the charger until it has reached 100%, it disconnected, slipped the iPhone. After being off the phone for about 4 hours, I tried to turn it on and nothing happened. Go web found I could restart the phone by pressing on the switch for 10 seconds and the House. It worked. Went on the web and found a way to disable several features that have been automatically enabled has no need to be on. Am followed the new battery and find that it is only about 5 hours. Is this normal or power, that I received and the battery defective the store or less?

Very probably, Yes... the new battery that was installed in fact may be defective. Your best course of action would be to resume when you replace the battery and have them check the battery and replace it if necessary.

Do not take the Apple iPhone as they will refuse service on that if repair work was carried out by a third party not qualified/certified.

  • Battery plugged in, load, but DO NOT at all support!

I have a dv6-7070ee and the motherboard is dead in about 7 months of my purchase. It was an arduous task to him have worked under warranty HP in my country is less useful.

Now that I have my machine back, battery does not charge. It says connected and load all the time but not FACT NO battery charge. Initially, when I rn diagnosed through the bios, he suggested that the battery must be replaced. A week later, when I run the same test it says the battery is OK (4) - if someone can tell me what that means.

My machine now works on AC only. The battery is connected to 0% and will not load. I'm looking for help twice in a month!

    Contact HP for warranty repair.

    Yours is a hardware problem.

  • 15 au091-nr: computer HP laptop with good behaviour battery won't start.

This is so the layout down, last night, I decided to play some (Minecraft modpack) Hexxit for about 5 hours. He was about 21:30 and had to go to bed, so I CTRL ALT DEL and clicking shut down. Forward to the next morning, I finished getting ready for school and take my laptop to check my mails as I do every day.  I open the cover and press the button power, slowly, realizing that something is wrong. I don't hear any fan from, but the power light turns on and is so light that recognizes the PC workload. I gave him a hard reset which did nothing. The battery is unremoveable so I can't reset it by these standards and if I try to do, my warranty will be void, which foreshadows the fact that I got this phone recently (one week to be exact). I realized that something was off because when you start a laptop computer, the fan will kick for a few seconds then die down until the PC Gets a task. If you people need more information just ask me, I'll be online I hope to have a working solution.

Well, I went back to the Pavilion and I decided to go with an Asus laptop, where it won't break on me on the 12th day. HP is slowly dying anyway. Screw them.

  • Mac Pro 2014 Retina screen shows lightning under empty battery but won't turn on

Screen shows lightning under empty battery, but won't turn on. I had plugged it with two adapters to support different (long and short) that accompanies the retina macbook 17 inches. Ive left plugged in for 24 hours and still will not light. I have tried reseting everything I saw on the forum other messages such as pressing shift-control-alt-power - release and then pressing button works / stop and nothing. Sometimes just showing the Red/low battery with Flash below the middle of the screen, but it will not activate. I have all my work on this computer and need to have on it.

The green light on the magnetic charge cable is not, however, this has only worked from time to time and then for a while so I was not worried about it. Any advice?

You have to go to an Apple Store or an authorized Service provider. The fact and take up virtually even with different Chargers, the indicator light on the MagSafe does not light up and the display on the screen of the cries of hardware problems. And these sealed Macs really are repairable no-no.
