BB10 - Audio without the volume information

Hello

I use the HTML5 media API to use audio within an application. I also tried to use the API of Cordova media and it works. In both cases there is information about the media file that I use when I change the volume by keys, but I don't want to view this information. I couldn't find something around to hide this information from the display of volume information.

I hope someone out there can help with it? THX

There may be a way to customize it.  There are some environmental variables that can be added to the framework WebWorks.  Generally, these are undocumented and very subject to change.  So use them at your own risk.

If you look at the SDK/lib/native-packager.js file, you'll see an env for the xmlObject property.  This is used to create the file of the bar - descriptor.xml that is added to a compiled file BAR.  There is already an environment variable specified here: WEBKIT_NUMBER_OF_BACKINGSTORE_TILES.

If you change this native file - packager.js and add the environment variable WK_SUPPRESS_HTML5_MEDIA_BUBBLE for it, it should change the behavior of the toast of volume. I don't think he's going to get rid of it entirely, but it can prevent the image/song title and break/prev/next buttons display.  You should back up all of the SDK files that edit you. Otherwise reinstall to resolve the problems of the unknown.

https://github.com/BlackBerry/BB10-WebWorks-Packager/BLOB/master/lib/native-Packager.js#L49-L51

env : [{
   _attr : { value : '8', var : 'WEBKIT_NUMBER_OF_BACKINGSTORE_TILES'}
            },{
   _attr : { value : 'true', var : 'WK_SUPPRESS_HTML5_MEDIA_BUBBLE'}
}]

Hope that helps.

    I have:

    Sony - KDL-55BX520 TV

    Sony - Blu - Ray-SA-CT660 player

    Sony - BDP-S5100 Sound Bar

    I would like to be able to listen to music / audio streaming from the internet connection Blu - Ray players, speakers of the sound bar, without having to leave the television on all the time.

    Currently, after I get my sound source (i.e. Pandora) implemented using the TV screen to navigate, when I turn off the TV, the sound "leave" the sound bar, even if the bar of his is still on.

  • Stop, or manage the system, daily update volume information

    My Vista computer starts his incessant drive fly at 17:45 every day and continues for about 20 minutes.  Indexing is disabled, the defragmentation is disabled, no program updates are running, and nothing is "intended" to run at this time, as shown in my task scheduler.  Process Explorer displays the culprit (unlikely) the System Volume Information update of crud that take place.

    My question: is it possible to stop this activity on-site, or forever, without disabling the system restore works?  Note: I got my restoration of the system to be updated automatically once a month, and yet this crud Sys information theft goes on daily.  Help!

    Hello

    By default, the system restore takes up to 15% of the total capacity of your hard drive under Vista. It is not possible to stop the update of system volume information.

    System Volume Information is a hidden folder protected operating system on each disk partition, which stores information for the system restore function.

    However, the cliché reserves a portion of each volume containing Previous Versions enabled in order to store the shadow copies. By default, the space reserved for shadow copies is 15% of the size of the volume. You can use the command-line tool Vssadmin.exe to change the size of this reserved space.

    To reclaim space by deleting all but the last restore point follow the steps mentioned below.

    a. Click Start, and then select all programs.

    b. click on Accessories

    c. click System Tools

    d. click on Disk Cleanup

    e. If it makes the files to clean up, select files from all users on your computer.

    f. If it invites the reader to clean, select (c :))

    g. click on More Options

    h. click on clean under System Restore and shadow copies

    i. click on Remove

    j. click OK

    k. click on delete files

    del "I want to file delete.txt".
    Who's going to get rid of one of the files to delete
    Continue the above command for all the files you want to delete.
    A good tip is that you can actually drag the files you want to delete in the CMD window to save typing you the full name. Enter del in the CMD followed by a space, and then drag the file that you want to remove in the CMD window and it will automatically add the name of the file for you.
    Follow steps 1 through 4, once more when you're finished - but this time remove your username

    I use Mac OS 10.6.8.
    When I access my webmail via Firefox, I get a Twitter hard whenever I have send or receive a new email.
    I contacted my ISP (Optimum) and they said tell Firefox to my computer to make the sound. They say that they have no control over it.
    I tried to reduce the volume of alerts in my system prefs, but it has not affected the volume of FF.

    How reduce or disable volume in FF when using webmail without lowering system volume?

    Thank you!!! The 'sound' button off in their preferences. Fixed. (It was so freakin ' fort!)

    I, in turn, chatted with Service to customer of Optimum and tells them that they must tell their supervisor to better educate their own service to the customer, instead of passing the ball. We'll see.

    Let contributors Mozilla smart to not return the ball.

  • How to change the volume of a portion of an audio track

    I have an audio track where part of it is too strong (in the middle).  Is there a way to select this area of the single audio track and change the volume for just this part of the track?  Thank you for helping this newbie

    Yes, you can use the track volume automation.

    What version of GarageBand do you use?

    In GarageBand 10:

    • Define the automation of the track of "Volume". You can see a slim automation curve, yellow.
    • Command-click on the track at the start of the area where you want the volume to add a control point. Add a second control point near the first and drag down the volume.  Add another ctrl-point where you want to go back to the old volume.

  • Cannot delete the System Volume Information trash

    I am running Windows xp on a Dell computer and I recently removed the System Volume Information folder on an external hard drive after the deactivation of the restoration of the system for this drive.  I don't remember how it happened, but the said folder ended up in the trash.  Now every time that I try to empty the trash, I get an error message indicating that access to the file is denied and it cannot be deleted.  I can see the folder in the trash, but I can restore it or delete it.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Thanks for your reply. I tried both of your suggestions, but unfortunately none of them allowed me to remove the stubborn system folder.  I had to start the computer in Mode safe, gives me full control over the folder to the trash (even though I am the administrator) and then finally was able to remove it. For some reason any Security tab does not appear when you talk about the Properties dialog box, unless you are using safe mode.

  • Windows error message "cannot find the file K:\$MFT or K:\System Volume Information.

    Original title: Windows Error Message.  Cannot locate the file K:\$MFT

    Periodically, I get an error message stating that Windows cannot locate the file K:\$MFT or K:\System Volume Information.   In this case my computer loses contact with K (my backup drive).  The only way I can get the command back up and running is to shut it down, restart windows and then reconnect the drive.  I have absolutely no idea where, why, or what this message is not irritating and a nuisance.  How can I stop this?

    My problem is back and I guess that I does not after all.  It was suggested that more info on my system could help find answers.  I am running Windows XP. SP3.  My HD is 500 GB.  Intel Core 2 CPU.  6600 GHZ, 3 GB of Ram.

    In addition the cannot locate the message file, it sometimes indicates that a "delayed write failed" and I should save the K:\$MFT file also.

    As far as I can tell, I have solved my problem.  Windows 'Restore' was trying to save my disk backup for future use, and I think it's whence came the message.  I changed the settings to restore now ignores my backup disk and the problem has not happened since.  I hope it's the end of it.

  • Formatting the USB in Windows XP disk, create a folder "system volume information" How can I overcome this problem

    Hello team, I tried to format my 2 GB to Format NTFS USB in WINDOWS XP. When I format the drive, it has been formatted sucssfully, but in the formatted disk, a folder is created named as 'System Volume Information '. I tried to remove my USB drive safley but it show and error as "the generic Volume is used in another program... '. ».  Why this happens, the 'System Volume Information' folder is a virus? How can I fix this problem... reply me as soon as possible... Thank you all...

    Hello

    It does seem like a virus. Since you're a NTFS format, it should be a system folder. System folder is present on NTFS volumes and is used for system restore points.

    If you want to remove, you may need to format the drive to FAT32.
