  I can offer two additional suggestions, and then my knowledge of what might be wrong is exhausted:

  (1) if possible, insert the widget again using a previous version of your document in which the widget has already been inserted.
  (2) make sure that your document has been saved at least once before you insert a SPRY object. This will ensure that everything is properly connected when the widget is inserted.

  In the meantime, perhaps someone more competent that I'll be able to help.

  You said that you've uploaded to sprymenu folder. Note that this is relative. Re-download all of your Spryfiles in the folder root of your Web site as follows:

  This should solve the problem.
