  I'm new and still find my way...  I want to use the internet mobile banking on my 9000 "BOLD".  I get to my bank site and need to connect before the options of "Mobile Banking", but after entering my password, nothing happens!  I enabled JAVA as stated, but it is still unresponsive to the Enter key.   In short, I can not connect to my internet bank account to my Blackberry 9000 "BOLD".  Really there has nothing to do with Mobile Internet Banking, because I can never get there.   Can anyone offer a solution?  Probably something stupid I am!  Thanks in advance!

  Web sites can be coded to perform better with some browsers, rather than others. The BB browser may appear to websites like several different things... What is inside the browser application (BBKey > Options > browser Configuration > browser Identification). Change that to a different browser could help your BB interact better with some Web sites. In combination with all other configuration settings, you have to find the combination of all these parameters which works best for the sites you visit. Unfortunately, there is no "best advice" that each persons needs are different. But, in general, I find that change browser Identification often helps - most often by changing to FF or IE (if those who are at your disposal... the options vary depending on the carrier).

  My daughter just got a Blackberry Curve. She put the password and then she could not reconnect. When she tried to enter the password, it actually showed the password in the field not asterisks.   I have a Blackberry Curve and for the life of me can't remember the password for the device.

  I went under 'options', 'security options', then 'General Settings '.

  It is set to 'active '.  When I try to set it to "disabled", her asking me my password and I can't remember it.

  Make full backup with BlackBerry Desktop Software (BB Desktop Manager).

  In case you used all attempts and the memory of the device are deleted to restore the saved data and you will get other attempts and so on.

  Unfortunately there is no way to recover the forgotten password.

  I know that my BBid, password and secret question also answered. but still cannot use BBapp as it does not accept my login information. In fact, my mail server carrying my associate email BBid ended last month and I don't imagine it will cause a problem to BBapp. I took the trouble not to download or update any information at this time, and now, if I use the password 'forget' tab he just told me that the information was sent to your email address.

  Normally, users would download App World by going in their browser on blackberry.com/appworld.  For users with software version 6.0 or later, like yourself, you instead go to appworld.blackberry.com.  I tested on multiple devices today successfully in all cases.  Good luck.

  I had my blackberry for the a over a year now and have had little or no problems with it, but...

  My phone receives txts/emails and calls however my keyboard seems to be completely insensitive, which means I can't access one of the messages etc.

  He says sometimes when I push buttons but not with the desired command.

  I was wondering if I could it reboot? And do not know if there is a reset button or if anyone else has encountered this problem?

  If you still have the same problems,

  This looks like what I've seen several times on a device with moisture damage.

  Even sitting on a countertop bath during a hot steamy shower or bath can cause problems with keyboard and trackball up to this JUST-withered.

  Really, it is more common than you think.

  1 the battery immediately! Do not turn on your BlackBerry device.

  2. allow the device to dry in a warm, dry place for 3 to 5 days * (see below)

  3. DO NOT "check it every day" by placing the battery in. Leave what would to dry completely. It takes time. Replacing the battery to check it can damage only (humidity + power = disaster).

  3. If the unit is hot after the drying period, let it cool to room temperature before placing the battery in the.

  If all fails, then yes the next option is to /Reload updating your software, you can perform a clean reload by following this knowledge base:

  KB11320  : How to perform a reload of the own software BlackBerry Device using BlackBerry desktop software for windows.

   

  Or you can download a fresh OS pack from your vendor and install it on your device. To do this:

  1. find your carrier (Verizon) and download the OS you want from here and install on your PC or computer laptop carriers

  • (Make sure you download for the same model you have)

  2. download and install the latest version of BlackBerry desktop by BlackBerry desktop software software

  • Then using software office perform your full backup of your device.

  3. go in C:\Program Files Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For Vista or Windows 7 64-bit, the path will be C: > Program Files x 86 > common files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double-click on Loader.exe.

  Upgrade will continue then after Installation of the new OS restore your BlackBerry Desktop backup
