• Integration of BBM to update status when the user has not created BBM

  We have integrated the update of the status of BBM in our application.

  When the user opens the application they are requested permission to allow the application to access the BBM.

  Then, there is an alert message which says that BBM implemented is necessary to connect to the app with options to cancel or continue.

  If a user cancels out of the aler, they can always proceed through the app, but when they get to the point where they can hit a link to update their status, that nothing is happening.

  I want to know how to do is that if somebody hits cancel rather than implementation of surveys BBM can we set a flag to hide the update status BBM feature?

  Seems a bit odd to require someone to set up BBM but let them still cancel and run the application.  Aware that this should be handled but don't know where to do

  BBM must be installed before an application can complete the BBM registration process.  If they cancelled out of this process, you will get a value of successful registration.  You must activate the features BBM of your application after a successful registration.

  We still allow the user to run the application, because they may not want to configure BBM, but continue to use the application.

• SS lack of creation, how to get the comments created by the user

  Dear all,
  
  I have a requirement to create a report for all the Absence pending requests that are applied by the user, I'm able to do all the Absence on hold using the following tables:
  Hr_Api_Transactions
  Hr_Api_Transaction_Steps
  
  but none of the tables above contains the "comments" that the user typed while creating the absence. The absence is not yet approved.

  Absence details which are not always approved are stored in the HR_API_TRANSACTIONS table. the details are stored in XML format in the column named TRANSACTION_DOCUMENT. You will need to read the XML data for the information of comments. Please find the link below which will provide you with a reference on how to analyze the XML data stored in the HR_API_TRANSACTIONS table.

• Shortened kerning (created by the user or by default) will not work

  Kerning via shortcut refuses to work in illustrator. Neither the ARROW of the usual ELECTION or according to the default shortcut menu (see screenshot below), COMMAND SHIFT] work. The user created shortcuts also it does not, for kerning, regardless of the font used. Preferences have been reset and user created libraries shortcut deleted. I tried to close all web browsers and iTunes, without change.

  Its also like forcing them to use for more than a letter-space is selected. It has only become a problem since upgrade to CS6. No one else in my Department has these particular issue with AI CS6.

• How to superimpose a partially transparent image (created by the user RGB) on a grab image acquired (I16 in grayscale) session in a while loop?

  I'm trying to superimpose a partially transparent Alpha, RGB image, which I have already created through manipulation of pixels on an image in grayscale I16.  I16 image is acquired grab and RGB is a file location.  So my problem is that when I try to add (IMAQ) images, IMAQ add.vi gives me an error of type incompatible image.  I understand that these are different types of images; but I need to find a work-a-round in order to get the information from color to grayscale during a frame grab session information.  This frame grab is quite awhile so it runs a bit slow which is correct loop.

  I already overlaid on an image I16 RGB.  However, the two images in this instance is called from a location file and not a capture session.  Now, I need a new vi which will overlap the file created on the images of the capture session.

  If any addition information is needed, please do not hesitate to ask.  This situation is a little difficult to explain.

  I want to share with a colleague.

  The obvious solution, I think, would be to COPY the file from my hard drive model and give it to my colleague.

  However, I looked high and low and cannot FIND WHERE the USER TEMPLATES ARE STORED on my hard drive.  I found the templates provided by Adobe that are included with the product ("Advertising" model) to Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Flash CS4 > en > Configuration > models > advertising; but MY CUSTOM TEMPLATES aren't in the Templates directory.

  I also looked into My Documents and several search on my hard drive, but still cannot find the location of my custom templates.  They are probably SOMEWHERE on my hard drive, because they are available on the start page whenever I start Flash CS4.

  Please, please you O, Adobe, reveal this secret.  I scoured also your databases and the user forums, but apparently I'm the only person interested in simplified workflows view sharing custom models.

  The Local Settings folder is a hidden folder and you need to activate the option "Show the hidden files and folders" in the Folder Options dialog box (in your folder, go to tools > Options... menu folder.) In the Folder Options dialog go to the tab view and select the option "Show the hidden files and folders" and click OK)

  To create a new user profile

  To create a new profile, you must first create a new user account. When the account is created, a profile will also be created.

  1. Open a user account by clicking on the button start , by clicking on the Control Panel, click user accounts and family safety (or by clicking on user accounts, if you are connected to a network domain), and then clicking user accounts.

  2. Click on manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  3. Click on create a new account.

  4. Type the name you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click on create an account.

  To copy files to the new user profile

  After creating the profile, you can copy the files from the existing profile. You must have at least three user accounts on the computer to perform these operations, including the new account that you created.

  1. Log on as a user other than the new user that you created or the user that you want to copy the files.

  2. Open Documents by clicking on the button start , and then clicking Documents.

  3. Click on the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.

     If you don't see the Tools menu, press ALT.

  4. Click the view tab, click hidden files and folders, clear the Hide protected operating system files check box, and then click OK.

  5. Find the C:\Users\Old_Username folder, where C is the drive that Windows is installed, and where ancien_nom_utilisateur represents the name of the profile you want to copy the files to.

  RP gave you the right answer if you want to restrict users to create table, do not give them privilege resource.  See this demo:
