  • When sending an email, is it possible to have an address book folder drop down to allow selecting the addressed?

When I transfer emails, usually, I want to convey a certain number of people of one or two of my address book files and I don't normally want to send to all the people in each of these files. I would like to adapt the mailing list for each email and other messaging applications, I used, once I click on the TO: or BCC: box, a list of my address book folders come down and I can select a folder I can just click on each recipients I want for this specific e-mail message. Is it a capability of Thunderbird?

Once you have opened entry window, press F9 to open the side panel of Contact. Select your contacts from there.

  • blind CC on Windows Mail

I used to have to, CC and BCC in address in Windows Mail lines.  Now have Version 6 and only to and CC.  Can I pick up the ICC?

Yes, you can get the KICS in your Windows Mail v.6. Click on create a message to start a new e-mail message. I have the new Message dialog box, click view, and select all headers. The Bcc: box opens.

  • How to send an email to all contacts list, using Vista.

I want to send an announcement to all my contacts and just once.
Do I have to enter each name to form a "contact group" to achieve this?  Do I have to type each e-mail name separately to make a 'group', if so?

If it's a matter of time, don't worry about a group. Click on the button to front the field to reveal your contacts.

To add all: select one and Ctrl + A will highlight all. Add them to the box to.

To add a section: highlight the first one you want to add. Scroll to last and click while holding down the SHIFT key.

If you want to hide the addresses so that no one sees that everyone, add them to the BCC box instead of the box to put your own address in the box to.

Your server probably has a limit on how many recipient, you can send in same time, so you begin pouvez to it divide into 2 or 3 shipments according to the number of contacts you have.

  • Cannot reply, forward or come from an email using Hotmail. OS is Vista

As of Saturday, November 19, 2011, I had no problem receiving, replying or transfer or from emails using my Hotmail account.  After starting my system on Sunday, November 20, 2011, however, I can receive emails, but I can't front, response or are created new e-mail messages.  Couldn't have my contacts immediately available, as usual, but could type in the email addresses in the TO, CC, BCC, boxes, type in the subject but not able to access the text box to enter text, (No. cursor).  I have several other email addresses, with Yahoo and Google and they all work very well.

Could someone advise how to solve this problem?

    Thank you very much

  • Emailing to group contacts folders

Microsoft directions to emailing for a group of contacts in Windows Mail in the States of Vista right click the folder, and then click action to send the Group an email. I don't get an action option when I right click on the folders that I created in my address book for Windows mail.

You can create folders in the Contacts folder, but they are not very useful.
WM will not display them when you click on to:, CC:
    or BCC: boxes.

However, you can make it back if you have folders... Open your
Contact folder, open your subfolder, select your recipient (s), right-click,
Select Action - send an E-mail

The groups are lists of mail.  You can create a group, add contacts to it. Then
Send on behalf of the group.

You used to be able to do that in Windows Live Mail, and you can always do it in the new web Outlook e-mail interface.

I can't find in the application Mail in Windows 8.
Also, when asked on twitter, @WindowsSupport actually has responded saying, they "couldn't fins of the info on it. Let us know if you find an answer"on the support forums.
Perhaps, it can be added on a coming soon future update?

Yes, it can be done now.

After you click new (+) to create a new message, click show more to the left (under the Cc box). You should now see a menu drop-down labeled priority appear below the BCC box that you can use to select high/normal/low priority.

  • Unable to send e-mail to groups in Windows Live Mail

    * Original title: send 1 e-mail to the list of contacts (Group)

I have Windows Live Mail and have made a group list of 159 names (on more than 1000 in my Contact list).  At least this is what I think that I did.

I would like to send a bcc these 159 people without clicking each name individually.  I guess that there is a way to click on this group of 159 easily

in the Bcc box, but I don't know how.

    Help!  Thank you!

    Hello Polly,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Communities. I apologize for the delay
response and thank you for your time and patience.

According to the description, I understand that you have created a group of 159 contacts and all by sending an e-mail with attachments, it is located in the folder Outbox for hours. Manipulate later you settings in the e-mail message.

E-mail contacts can be saved as a group and sent both without selecting each contact individually. You can give a name to the Group and when you send an e-mail, you just type the name of the group in the field that you created. It's what we call a group name.

You will need to create a folder called chrome in your profile, Mail , ImapMailand inside it a file named userChrome.css, if you don't have them already. Neither exists by default in a vanilla Thunderbird installation.

The first active line of the userChrome.css file should be:

  • Where are my missing Bccs after I click send

I created an email that included in the body that I had received another email. My list of recipients was all BCC. I clicked on send. One of the CCO was rejected due to problems. No messages were received for the remaining BCC. I looked in the "sent" folder. None of the BCC were there. What happened to my BCC? Where should I expect to find?

For me to believe is not enough to let you know. -rodalsa

    No. I use Thunderbird.

Following on from my post, I discovered that my email was not sent through Thunderbird. In fact, he always resided in my drafts folder in my revised State who has been with the BCC all rid of recipients except one who had not. I changed the address failed to which I hope might work, but had not yet sent. I had deleted all the ones I thought were already sent - prior to my having looked in the box feel - my bad.

The piece of knowledge that I missed was that; Thunderbird sends all messages to the recipients if there is an error with one of them. After that ignorance, I did things that contributed to my post (I have to re - introduce a large number of addresses as BCC).

  • OTEN duty bcc ten people ungrouped. Must I do one at a time?

Sometimes, when I bcc, the first two or three appear on the first sent. It's a warranty issue. My main problem is not being able to use a bcc of control as a push of a button.

Is that what you do not use the Contacts Sidebar in the window of writing? F9 should do come and go.

You can select all 10 recipients and then click 'add to the ICC ".

Or if you open a Bcc: address box, you can select and then drag and drop the 10 names on it.

No particular reason for not making a group (Mailing List) for this? Is this something that you don't expect to do it again?

  • Under account settings > account > Copies and folders > Bcc these email addresses, which is the separator between multiple addresses?

    Try a comma.

He did this in the BCC or CC BOX when it's empty, but is not too useful when you already have something there.

  • is there a way to continuously show the to, cc and bcc blocks when you compose an email?

Seems simply not non-sensiques having to manually select the CC via the drop-down list / CCI via drop-down additional for each / every email which is composed.

Is there a setting that makes so the TO, CC, and BCC always display in each e-mail while you don't have to manually set the fields in each email miss me?

    Thank you much in advance.

There are six of one, half one dozen of the other. Yes, most email clients allow you to add multiple names to the To: box. So, you added Dave in the To: box with 5 others. It seems pretty hard to handle already, right? Difficult to scroll left and right to see all these addresses? You now rethink and decide that Dave should be in the Cc: list instead. How to move him? Your email client makes it easy to choose him, select, then drag-and - drop in the Cc: list? When a visitor on the Cc: list, it's easy to avoid the fall of Dave right in the middle of Charles? (Can you do this without using the mouse?) Or do you remove Dave of to: enter it again a CC:? Your client shows his full email address or just an abbreviated as "Dave"? Which of several instances of Dave in your address book is this one?

In Thunderbird you just change its for: CC.: And you can see all of his email address. And Matt and I have shown you that is not necessary to select individually to: / Cc: / Bcc: for each recipient. And unlike the methodology of a single line while it is simple in Thunderbird to expand the address space to see as much of the address box as you want. Just grab and drag the top of the text message pane downwards or upwards.
