bearings does not not in Firefox 7 on OS Lion

I just installed Firefox 7 on my new iMac, running on an OS Lion 10.7.2 and found that all States hover (bearings) do not work here at all, I dun get dropdown menus or css change of color in my own Web sites or on other sites. I moved some of my files to profile the old iMac in the new and everything works fine. It also works on my old iMac that runs on the Snow Leopard operating system. but I notice that its really slow on my iMac to Snow Leopard and often just hangs on pages randomly for no reason.

Can someone tell me what I need to do?
I tried to move the folder of entire profile for the old iMac, when this does not work, I started a new profile and move the files recommended only as stated on here http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox. and it still does not work. Help please.

I have this problem on OS / X Lion with all browsers, Firefox not only we can do some testing, some of you to confirm that you have the same problem in other browsers? I've tested this in Opera, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome... all four had the same problem when it arose. A restart of the computer it corrects for once, seems to occur randomly in OS / X Lion.

  • The Task Manager does not close firefox already running but does not

    Firefox stops running at random times. I'm used to be able to shut up by the Manager of tasks without problem. Now when I try nothing happens. Process highlights and just it running no matter how many times I clicked. I can close other processes very well. Firefox crashes a lot more often lately, and it's a pain to have constantly close and restart to clean. Firefox crashes so that in different websites, or even after I closed it but have not stopped since. When I try to open it I get the message ' existing enforcement does not. But even when I close it normally always seems to remain in the background. I am not tech savvy at all any solution would be appreciated. Thank you.

    You will need to get to the bottom of this problem and try to prevent that from happening in the future

    1. First create and use a new additional Firefox profile. I'm hoping that will result in at least a Firefox that you can close.
      Use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles Firefox_creation-a-profile
    2. Note that normally, the method of closing of Firefox is to use the menus in Firefox | Firefox button. (Using other methods might create problems and there are some bugs of current / recent Bug 845681 & 8537799 )
      • By default on XP file-> exit , (other systems use the Firefox button options)
    3. What you are experiencing seems to be blocking Firefox, although they may often be terminated by killing the Firefox process.

  • Site that opens fine chromium does not open Firefox

    I have a site that opens fine with IE, Chrome, Safari, Opera browser, but does not open with FF. Initially FF (and other browsers) application for certificate of security I have add and save the exception. After that the redirect should be done and it is done in other browsers. But in Firefox, all I see is a blank white page.

    Verified with the developers of the Web site, here's the answer:
    FF16.0.2 really does not have to run a script from the unreliable node, even if one adds the certificate exceptions. Obviously, a feature of the FF. Other browsers running the script very well

    So, the problem will be resolved if we add (one day) a certificate appropriate to this Web site.

    The issue can be closed.

  • event.keyCode works does not in Firefox

    When I use this validation. Works fine in IE. Does not not in firefox.
    Gives an error "undefined event".
    How to solve this problem in firefox?

    < input type = "text" name = "var_no" onKeyPress = "check (this); ">

    function check (obj) {}
    If (event.keyCode < 45 | event.keyCode > 57)
    {
    Alert ("correct to Enter value '");
    obj. Focus();
    event.keyCode = 0;
    }
    }

    Instead of
    event.keyCode = 0;
    Try
    Returns false;

    In addition, the alert is really distracting from a user perspective. Very intrusive.

    Some other visual cue, such as briefly to change the background of the box entry or even inserting text beside him, for example, is more user-friendly.

    obj.style.Background = "Red";

  • Session Restore does not work; Firefox opens 4 other tabs instead

    In general, Options, I chose to restore my windows and tabs from last time and set the homepage of Yahoo. It was like that for years. Yahoo is my homepage until I close the browser. From a month or two ago, whenever I close the session is not restored, or is Yahoo my home page more. Instead, open 4 tabs: Welcome to Firefox, Mozilla Firefox Start Page, an explanation of WOT (one of my extensions) and a new tab.

    The first time it happened, I went to the Options and those in general have changed - home page is set to Mozilla instead of Yahoo, and when FireFox starts now open the homepage instead of open my previous tabs. It doesn't matter if it's before a restart of Windows or if I just close the browser and reopen immediately.

    I read many others having problems with the system restore. only a solution has been found and his question was not the same mine - it must also make changes I'm not comfortable doing.

    Any ideas? Given I have spent an hour to research, and nobody don't seems to have solved this, I think that I can go to Chrome... not what I want to do, but it's not good.

    You can check for problems with preferences.

    Delete a possible user.js file and files numbered prefs-# .js and rename (or delete) the file prefs.js to reset all the prefs by default, including the prefs set via user.js and pref which is no longer supported in the current version of Firefox.

  • WebEx does not support Firefox 64; is there an alternative to return to Firefox 41, 32-bit?

    I spend at each opening of webex session you transfer files to temporary webex because Firefox 64 is not supported. I don't understand why Mozilla and Webex need to make things difficult for customers not to overcome differences. Should I go back use of considerably older Firefox which is always in 32-bit code? Can I load both Firefoxe versions on the same machine or they will conflict?

    Should I go back use of considerably older Firefox which is always in 32-bit code?

    The current version of Firefox 42.0 (Win32/Win64) is not older. Firefox 45.0a1 nightly compilations you are testing is in development and not even close release. Release of < beta < Aurora (developers edition) < every night

    If you wanted to Win64 Firefox there is a release of 42.0 Win64 Firefox it is, however, not so public on mozilla.org
    https://archive.Mozilla.org/pub/Firefox/releases/42.0/Win64/

    The Win64 Firefox 42.0 has 64-bit Flash Player white listed. The next exit Win64 Firefox 43.0 looks like 64-bit plugin Silverlight will be white listed.
