  • loud beeping noise on ideapad y650

There is a horrible, loud beep which occurs whenever I plug the power chord or the battery is low. These two events occur often, so noise is not something that I can easily ignore. I went into the control panel and off all system sounds, but apparently this noise is not controlled in this way. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you!

Thank you! This is what finally worked. Control Panel / sound / [tab] read / select 'Speakers'--> properties / levels. Activate the signal to be muted (or somewhere on a scale of 1 to 100). The default value is 100, this is why it is so frickin strong.

  • Satellite M50 - no picture and beeping noise to the don't start

    Hello

Recently, my laptop PSM50C - MX500E Satellite has been giving me a few questions, it froze on me and I don't think a lot because it froze before. I thought it was associated with heat and since I was using multiple applications. I left the laptop at night to cool but in the morning I went to turn it on and there is no picture now, the laptop it self doesn't look like it's broken, I get a few beeps by pressing the power button, 1 beep, 3 beeps, beeps, 3 beeps 4.

I don't know what it could mean and I have a lot of luck to Google search. I still have my original (upgraded to 4 GB) of RAM and we tried swaping the RAM, but that makes no difference.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

  • HP G5000 series: desktop beep noise

When I turned on my PC today, there was a sequence of beeps. I looked and thought it might be the fan so I opened and cleaned the fan because it was clogged with dust. I then plugged it back in and it worked perfectly. However I turned it off when I wasn't using it and when I tried to use it again I turned it back, only for the beep to return! Does anyone have any help for this?

The beep model you describe is a puzzle.  One or two beeps at startup is fundamentally normal but 8 beeps usually points to video memory problems.

    Remove all external devices.

Reinstall your memory cards and the video card or the adapter, as appropriate.

If you're still having problems, you may need to bring to the workshop for advanced diagnostics.

my computer keeps making it beep, I managed and all antivirus analysis but no solution person knows what is wrong?

    Hello

Only the beginning of the beep on startup?

Sound beeps are error codes that describe a problem with your machine. A continuous beep
can mean keyboard (loose or bad cable), losing the card, power, a short circuit or other matter according to the
    System/BIOS manufacturer.

Startup and select CONFIGURATION/SETTINGS (BIOS/CMOS) - usually F2 that you start - look to see BIOS
    Creator, then see here:

  • Slimline makes noises

Hello, I recently bought a slimline pc and since then he has made a low beep noise, I can't tell if it's the case fan or hard drive that makes noise. I ran the hp diagnostics and it doesn't seem to be anything wrong. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Open the verification of cases, for the noise to

    1 disc

    2. power supply

    3. CPU cooling fan

4 bezel Digital video (if equipped) cooling fan

    5. exhaust fan back

Use a rod of wood dry to stop the fan for a few seconds.  If the noise goes away, then you have found the problem.  Wrap a piece of paper, so you can use it as a megaphone.

  • need help with noise from notification bar

In the bottom right of the screen notification bar, every time the arrow is displayed (to indicate that which is hidden), it makes a beep noise.  It is very annoying.  How can I disable the noise associated with the arrow?

Method 1: Disable the beep (Windows 7 only) computer management system

The first method is to use the computer management tool. If you want to learn more about this tool and how to open it, read this detailed guide: reasons why computer is my favorite administration management tool.

In the computer management window, use the left panel and go to "Tools-> Device Manager system".

On the view menu, select 'Show hidden devices'. If this setting is not enabled, you will not see the Beep as a device and disable it.

In the list of devices, look for the category "Non-Plug and Play drivers" .

Develop and find the Beep. Double click on it or right click and select Properties.

In the Beep properties window, go to the driver tab.

In the Startup section, click and then scroll Type . Select disable , and then click OK.

After a restart of Windows, the system beep is disabled. If you want to stop it immediately, click the stop button in the section of the State , before closing the window properties of a sound signal .

In Windows 8, the Beep is more listed as a device of computer management. Therefore, you can only use the second method described below.

Method 2: Disable the beep system control panel (Windows 7 & Windows 8)

Open the Control Panel and go to hardware and sound.

In the Sound category, click or tap on "Change system sounds".

The audio window is open. His tab, look for the events section of the program. Scroll down until you find Default Beep and click or tap on it.

With the selected Default Beep , click or tap on the section of sounds below. A list with sounds.

Scroll to the top of this list, and then select "(none)". It is the first option in this list.

Click or tap on OK and the beep is disabled for the current model of sounds. If you want to change the other elements of the active sound system, read this guide: How to customize the sound scheme used on your Windows computer.

If you change the sounds with a new model, the system beep may be turned on again. The same phenomenon occurs when you install new Windows themes. Some of them might have sound models that allow the system beep.

  • [Solved] Continuous beep T5500 Workstation with high CPU usage.

I have a T5500, and every time that I insist on processors the system starts a continuous and constant beeping noise.

The system still seems to operate normally and the time CPU are also under control, just the annoying noise.

I don't see a continuous sound anywhere in the manual, so I don't know what that means.

It is an old machine and out of warranty so if I can't find the problem, can I just turn off or unplug the speaker making the noise?

    Thank you.

Resolved, I feel like such a fool. Someone helped me to find the problem. I am turning on the PC with a UPS just next door and it doesn't clearly have the juice to power the T5500 anywhere near full charge.

So after the days of troubleshooting, I found it was a simple error of ID10T.

    Thank you.

  • Charging of noise and the LCD

    Hello

    I have a T400 and I have 3 small question:

    1. whenever I plug in the charger, it makes a beep noise loud... y at - there a way to disable this feature? it becomes bothersome in the library when all of a sudden, it gets

    2. is it possible to tell if my screen is a CCFL or LED? I bought my computer laptop off a gentleman on craigs... but its nine, never open with warranty. So I don't know if its LED or not.

    1. go in your bios under config-> alarm, you can turn off the beeps by disabling them.

2 download everest and it should tell you the p/n of your screen, then google the p/n and it should tell you if it is LED or CCFL.

3 Everest should tell you that it is usually LG or Samsung...

  • Pavilion 2 detachable x: external DVD problems

    Hello

I bought a Samsung SE208 external DVDRW use the USB port on my full size tablet. It was purchased primarily for watching DVDs while working there and copy my music in iTunes.

I plugged the instructions and immediately stuck a CD that has been copied to my library without problem. So, I got a DVD to watch (flushed away if anyones interested) and its here that the problems seem to start.

With a DVD in the drive, you can see this whirring away and my Tablet produces occasional beep noise. It does not display messages and nothing on the screen indicates that the DVD will play. In Device Manager the DVD player is not. It shows as installed correctly when I managed to catch him and look in the properties, but the driver is for a CD-ROM drive only. I tried it on my laptop (6 years) and it works perfectly. The laptop is running Windows 10 too, but shows a bunch of different drivers in Device Manager.

Ideas, suggestions, new uses for it would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Rob.

I just tried the drive again and it won't play CD's. Maybe it'll work as a lead only which is useless, or ornament for me. Any suggestions?

    Hi PeerOne.

Thanks for the reply but I have VLC and it still doesn't work.

It turns out that the SE208 is announced as compatible on a certain website large companies USB3.0 is not something of the sort. With a result pretty obvious.

Needless to say that the offending article was returned and the search for an external DVD drive VFM who will work with USB 3.0 continues.

  • M2 - fixing external keyboard keyboard problem does not work either

    Hello

I have a user with a M2 Tecra keyboard works properly, 2 or 3 keys (Enter, space, lock), the rest of them when press cause a very quiet "beep" of the noise coming from the laptop.

I guess this keyboard was defective - I have attached a usb keyboard to the laptop, but which has exactly the same symptoms, they keys do not work and when you press the beep noise is coming from the laptop, no characters appear on the screen.

The laptop starts with the Windows XP login screen very well.

Any ideas what caused this, and what is the solution?

    Thank you

    Hello

Sounds to me like the keyboard on the motherboard controller went bad. Because it causes the default on an external keyboard, then your motherboard is bad. If it was just the keyboard, then external it would work fine. But first, all types of keyboard connected to a laptop computer are routed via the keyboard/controller integrated on the motherboard, then the characters are displayed. When this goes bad no keyboard does, not even an external. And the only solution that replaces the motherboard. I hope this helps.
