If you are able to connect the iPhone on the dock using the lightning adapter, you will need to check the compatibility of the iOS6 with the dock. I had to leave my phone mode low power just to prevent it from falling down for like 60% after only being on 3 hours.

  If you are concerned this may be a failure of the battery itself, lithium-ion batteries are the standard in the industry. There's not a lot of brand magic here. Download the the battery life on the App Store and check the status of your battery. Sometimes, they may fail at the beginning. If so, you're guaranteed to you in your 1 year.

  Otherwise, potentially got something displayed/hidden in the background that is eating your battery while you are not intending to use a certain feature? This can happen during the last update for you. When I check in the menu of the battery in the last mail 24 hours with 2 min on screen + 2 min backgroud used 17% (this is equivalent to Facebook 28 min 45 min phone used only 9% or + 22 min back). I tried other email applications, but for me, this one is pretty good and does not want to use another app for something I already have.   Have you tried force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo comes back again?

  You won't lose data, but it can cure some problems after installing new software.
